157 First Blood! The Return of Soulless!

"My great master, Heaven Splitting master Liang Fen, taught me that I should be direct when speaking to a sect's old ancestor," I said.

"My master said I'm not ready to head to Sword Gash Ridge, I must temper myself in the mortal world to have enough enlightenment to understand the profundity of the Dao there."

This young lord had no want to go to this Sword Gash Ridge, I was just about to swagger around freely with my newly acquired status. How could I go to some dumb ridge created by my shameless master?

We sailed across the skies for what seemed like hours. I gave up trying to talk any sense into the dinosaur Shao Hanying, she was adamant about taking me to Sword Gash Ridge for tempering.

I had given up trying to struggle, this woman was way beyond me with her cultivation.

Since there were a lot of sword fanatics around this Sword Gash Ridge, it would be the perfect place for this young lord to start recruiting lackeys. It was the perfect place for this young lord to start his ascension to power. This beautiful woman was even giving me a free ride there. I should reward her for her efforts when I get out.

This young lord can not be ungrateful to beautiful maidens that wish to assist him. Maybe I should offer her a spot to warm my bed next time I see her?

It wasn't long before we came upon Sword Gash Ridge, it was a giant canyon carved through a mountain filled with thunder clouds. I guess that mountain used to belong to the sect that offended my shameless master.

The site was truly breathtaking to see, all around Sword Gash Ridge were mountains filled with raging thunderstorms. But the thunderstorms dared not draw close to Sword Gash Ridge. The sword intent emanating from Sword Gash Ridge was almost unbearable.

The area was clouded in an eternal blue haze. From the ground, all the way up to the very heavens. Neither light nor darkness pierced the blue haze. The ground, the sky, even the heavens parted in the presence of the Sword Intent left here.

The beautiful woman finally let me off of the rainbow as we drew nearer to the blue hazed Sword Gash Ridge.

"I will leave you here, you should be able to learn more about the Sword Dao. Do not return to my sect to cause trouble!" said the beautiful woman as she summoned another rainbow and then flew off.

I had no idea where I even was right now. I had never been outside of my local province. To get to this Sword Gash Ridge we had flown for hours. I had been dumped in the middle of nowhere by that dinosaur of a woman!

She just wanted to take me far away from her sect. Now she had nothing to do with me. Oh well, I will get my revenge one day. With one chop I'll create another Sword Gash Ridge at the Have No Shame Sect!

I headed into the blue haze and it felt strangely comfortable. She had spoken of people having their cultivation restricted here, but I felt like I was a fish in water. My Dao conformed perfectly to this area. I felt more powerful walking within this blue haze.

The heavens parted and wept, but the Sword Dao remained!

I put my intricate red sword into my hands as I started trekking through the clear waters. It was so refreshing to be in an area that conformed to my Dao.

"Fresh meat!" said a sword scarred bandit that came out from within the blue haze.

His head was removed from his body and his bisected corpse fell to the ground. This young lord didn't have to give mercy anymore. All that opposed this young lord would die. I was no longer sparring with disciples on their territory.

No, I was in my master's territory now. There was no need for me to hold back here. How dare that scarred brute ask for God's precious resources. As if he was worthy.

I searched his body and found nothing of value and continued to traverse the blue hazed canyon. For some reason everywhere I went I was immediately attacked by sword scarred brutes screaming fresh meat. I showed no mercy, anyone that stood in this young lord's path was sent to reincarnate with an incomplete corpse.

These sword scarred brutes on the outskirts must only be appetizers. They understood little of the Sword Dao. Unfortunately for them, I was no teacher. I was an executioner, those that are weak should rightfully be reaped.

Their souls should not even be able to pass peacefully into the afterlife. Their souls… Their precious souls should also be God's precious resources!

"Who are you?" I heard a voice boom out from the heavens.

"I am Soulless, a young devil lord that strikes fear into the heart of all men. The reaper of souls, the enslaver of races, and the slaughter of worlds," I said.
