Chapter 155 - Destiny?

"Come on, Raine. Let's take our things to the cabin first,"

I was back to my senses when Jacob held my hand and pulled me over to the cabin that he rented.

I was spacing out but still I managed to walk properly with this shit on my head. Mixed emotions was running through me, like I wanted to go to him and end everything because if I let this slide again I know I will missed my chance. And when I really chose to end it, I'll just ruin this day. I know I might be unwell after doing it. I will affect my friends and Jacob.

"You looked tired, do you want to rest first?" He asked, arranging our bags.

"Can I?"

He smiles sweetly and led me to the bed of girls. Can I just stay here until our last day? Jacob told me that we'll spend our three days here that's why, my friends really packed their necessities..

"Stay here, I'll just wake you when the food is ready," I nodded and watched him leave.

I released a heavy sigh when he's gone. I feel like I'm being a kill joy here. My friends my be asking for me now and it's so bad of me to leave them there.

I decided to stand up and go out too. I don't care if I see him again, I'll just try to ignore him as much as I can. I can't run away with it either.

I looked around the area and hear the waves of the sea near my place. The wind flew off the stands of my hair around my hair. I waggled it and my eyes fixed on the couple of people that was waving at me near the tree.

My legs has it's own mind that it immediately walked towards their area. Their smiles were telling me that everything's okay and I don't need to worry.

"Jacob told us that you don't feel well. Are you hurt somewhere? You can just rest at the cabin, Raine." Jess and Jennie scanned my whole body, getting worried.

"I-I'm fine b-bitches!" I fake a laugh and my eyes locked with the meaningful stares of Sam.

She looked worried and scanned the whole place for me. With the way she looks, I know she's telling me that she's going to protect me. She's the only person who can understand my situation right now. I don't want my other friends to find out, they will totally decide to go home for me and I don't want that to happen.

"Why don't we cook for lunch first, guys? Marco! Let's go to the cabin and prepare for the foods!"

"H-hey,"

We turned our gazes to the person who pulled Jennie's hand. Some of our friends was hiding their smiles while the others were trying to stop their giggles as they watch the two together.

I also let out meaningful smirked as I watched how Jennie's face blushed with the way our attention focused on them. And I think, she can feel those electricity from Harry's hand now.

Interesting, hmm.

But while my friends was focused on the two, I looked around to find Jacob who's now busy playing with the dog near the shore. He's enjoying it, I can see in his smiles and laughs.

It's so funny that he always stumbled with his feet as he tries to run away from the dog. They're so adorable.

I was just laughing the whole time not until a familiar figure of a guy walk over the shore near Jacob. He's just wearing his white button down dress emphasizing his broad shoulders and his hard rock muscles. He also tucked it with his denim shorts while his sleeves were rolled up, revealing those veins around his arms.

Damn.

I was already out of control as I watched him looking at waves with unpredictable emotions around his face. He looks so lonely and b-broken..

I don't know if I'm wrong but, with the way he looked at the blue sea I know there's something wrong with those stares. He's not okay.

"Raine!" I was like a doomed thief as I immediately turned around to face Gia like nothing happened.

But her face suddenly looked shocked as she turned her eyes on me. I grabbed the hem of my dress in nervousness. Fuck. Did she saw it?

"D-did you c-cry, Raine?" She asked as she tries to come closer to me.

My eyes widened and wiped my eyes instantly. Did I cry? Fuck. Did I really cried?

"Ah, I-it was the w-wind. My eyes were s-sensitive when it comes to t-this.." I lied.

She's too smart to detect what's really happening and I need to be clever enough to run from it.

"Oh. Come on, let's take a rest first. The boys will be in charge on the food,"

I just nodded and immediately walked with her through the cabin. I want to call for Jacob but I'm afraid that Noah might hear me. They're just a few meters away though.

"I wanted to go to the falls later girls! I've heard there's a beautiful cave there when you start climbing it," Jessy looked excited.

"Oh, come on. We're going to go there. Don't worry!" Gia answers in a cool way.

Jessy run towards her and they both jumped in excitement which really made us laugh. They looked a kid that's excited to explore something.

"Why don't we try the activities like hiking and riding the cable car there after that guys?" Sam suggested and Jennie immediately agreed with her.

"That's cool! We can do everything we can and then we'll buy some souvenirs!"

They all giggled as they plan all those things together. I was just watching them, because I think I'll just have to consider those things since they won't let me not join them.

They're so persistent you know.. Like brat.

"I've heard this is your hometown, Raine?" Jennie suddenly asked.

Oh well, everyone knows that I'm from here except her. I nodded and smiled at her. She deserves to know too since she's also my friend.

"Cool! Then, you're going to tour us here?" Her eyes twinkled, waiting for my answer.

When I looked at my friends, they're all waiting for my answer too. I had no choice but to just nod and let them do whatever they want.

I'm not even familiar here though.

I chuckled to my own mind. I've already said it before, that I'm not familiar here and Noah--

Damn.

It's so frustrating that every moment that I'm here, he's the one that I'm thinking. That every memories of him with me, turns back like a sudden flash.

We took our rest after that. Jessy and Jennie were already sleeping on the other bed while Gia headed outside to take pictures. Sam and I were the only one's who left awake here.

"Do you think you can avoid seeing him here?" She curiously asked.

Well, I don't even know too. If our fate will bring us together, then I don't have a choice for that.

"Don't know?" I chuckled. "To all the places. He choose to go here, what a freak!"

"Do you think it's not a coincidence anymore?"

"What do you mean?"

Her stares were saying a lot but she can't even say it through words.

"That destiny brought you together.." She bit her lower lip.

I immediately looked away for that. It's possible but I don't want to be with him anymore. Being together will only caused pain to both of us.

So it's better this way. That we're apart and not seeing each other.

"If that's the case, then I'll try to run away with it." I fake a smile. "I can't love him anymore, you know that."

She just gave me a sympathetic smiles before embracing me. I know she's just worried and I'm thankful that she's not telling this to others. Sam was like a gift from God to me.

"You know, I'm just here always.." She whispered.

I just smiled. I know, Sam. I know..

After an hour, the boys went to the cabin to wake us. Well, me and Sam decided to just sleep after that and we do really had some sleep.

The boys were excited to let us taste what they cooked. It's so funny that they only roasted some foods and none of them cooked a soup.

"Here,"

Jacob gave me a roasted pork barbeque, he even blow it first before giving it to me.

"How does it taste?" He asked, waiting for my answer.

I just chuckled because he seemed excited about it. "I haven't took a bite from it first, stupid!"

"Oh." He laughed.

When I already tastes it, I just let out a blank expression. I want to tease him about it.

"How does it taste?" He repeated. He's really eager to know it, gosh!

"It's good," I nodded.

"Good?"

His brows furrowed. I just continue to chew the delicious meat that he made from us, ignoring his funny expression.

"Give me that," he took the meat away from me.

I was startled when he eat the remaining piece on the stick and chew it while his brows furrowing.

Oh god. He looked so unsatisfied with my comment. It's so funny!

"It tastes delicious for me, why--"

"I'm just kidding!" I laughed. "I got you, huh?"

He immediately pursed his lips for that and run towards me. I had to run away for that, because I'm sure he's going to tickle me!

"Come on, Raine! I'm tired!" He shouted as we reached the middle of the shore.

"You're just tired Jacob! Tell me, are you weak?"

I laughed so hard as I witnessed how his expression darkened. Damn. I shouldn't have said that.

He started to run faster towards my direction, my hand shakes just by how he run so fast! Damn it!

While he's running, a picture of me and Noah with a similar scenario like this popped inside my head. We were running like this before and it's really frustrating that my heart was aching for it!

I run faster as I can to get away there. Fuck! I think I might tripped here--

"RAINE!"

And yeah, hell yeah. I stumbled and fell to the white sand. The impact was epic and it was a bit stings on my knees.

Damn this legs.

I don't know but I suddenly felt emotional with the way I stare at the white sand in front of me. I can't stand up. I don't know if it's because of my shaking legs or just because I don't want to get up for awhile.

I don't know..

But I was surprised when a slimmed and long legs stopped in front of me. He offered his hand to me, so I had to looked up to face him.

My heart beats fast as I stared at his black expression while he's standing here. His other hand was holding his camera while he's offering his other hand to me.

Fuck! Noah's here!
