147 Enzo

As soon as she passes out, he feels like collapsing. He stagers back and knocks into the table before quickly reaching out to hold himself up. His insides burn with unimaginable pain as he feels every cell in his body being resurrected.

He grips his chest and throws his head back as he cries out in pain. His screams carry throughout the entire spirit world but not a single one dares to come close. When the pain finally stops, he takes a large breath as his heart, his real heart, starts to beat again.

When he catches his breath, he looks over to see that she was still passed out. He slowly stands up and stretches his muscles before walking over to her. He grabs the chains around her delicate wrists and unlocks them but he quickly leans over and catches her before she hits the ground.

He rolls her over and picks her up before walking away. It was time he finally left and all thanks to Eris and her blood, he was now free, again. She may want to kill him but he has no intention of killing the magical witch.

When he first met her, he had every intention of playing with her before killing her but once he found out just what she was, his plans quickly changed. Then, the unexpected happened. The little witch grew on him.

He knows she hates him and despises him but it really doesn't bother him. He doesn't even care if she loves the demon Kian... he just wants to remain and now, he will. With this... he will always remain tied to her.

KIAN

When I hear a loud noise in the living room followed by yelling, I quickly run in to find Eris's father and brother but when I look around and don't see her, my heart drops. I walk over as the small family hold each over and demand "Where is she?"

Her brother turns to me and grits his teeth before saying "That bastard has her chained up! He wants her blood in exchange for our freedom... I will rip the bastard to pieces!" Eris's mother cries out and covers her mouth in horror as I stumble back a few feet.

I look back to him and ask "Who? Who has her?" Eris's father makes a grave face and says "I heard her call him Enzo." I feel my legs threaten to give out under me before leaning against the wall. Binx growls and says "That bastard just doesn't know how to stay dead! He wants her blood to come back to life."

Rage burns through me as I grab her brother and drag him to the bathroom with me. Her parents follow as well, yelling and screaming for me to stop but I have no intention of hurting the boy. I walk into the bathroom and drag him in with me as I say "I need you to kill me."

Her parents stumble to a stop with shocked and confused looks on their faces as her brother's eyes shift back to human. It looked like he was about to go furry on me... He stutters and says "Y..you want me to do what?"

I look him in the eyes as I say "I want you to kill me." I finally release him and turn the water on in the tub. I block the drain and watch with impatience as the water slowly begins to fill. Her brother nervously licks his lips and says "Uh... I'm not a fan of demons but I'm not into killing them either."

I growl and grab him before slamming him against the wall of the bathroom and saying "If you want to save your sister, then you'll do as I say! I will not stay dead so I need you to drown me and keep drowning me every time I come back, do you understand?"

Her brother's eyes flash before he slowly nods his head. Eris's mother steps forward and says "Kian... she loves you dearly boy but she wouldn't want you to do this. Killing yourself over and over to remain in the spirit world would be dangerous. Something could grab you over there and make a powerful meal out of you."

I restrain my anger as I turn to face her and say "That's the woman I love, I can't just sit here and not do anything. I will go there and pull her from him myself if I have to before putting him through a spirit shredder!"

Suddenly, the house starts violently shaking! We all look around in concern before Binx yells "We have a visitor!!" I push past them all and run to the front door. The house swings the door open before I even get there but when I see the bastard Enzo holding an unconscious Eris in the yard, my vision turns red!

I charge out at him but Enzo quickly pulls her closer to him and says "Calm down Kian. You don't want to hurt her now, do you?" Kian bares his teeth at him in anger as he says "I will not touch her but you? You, I will rip from limb to limb!! I know you are not as strong as you once were! PUT HER DOWN!"

Enzo chuckles and says "Oh, I know very well what you intend to do with me but you should know... Eris and I are now connected. If you kill me, she dies." Kian's fists pop from anger as an unholy rage rolls through him.

Enzo smirks as he slowly lowers Eris down on the ground before saying "She's the very first and one and only... wife of the first Dark Prince. Don't worry Kian... I want her to be happy so I have no plans to remove you. She needs a play toy and pets to remain happy. Now, we're all one big happy family, no?"

His dark black wings spread out wide as his smile turns dark and knowing. He flaps his wings and takes off as Kian quickly rushes over to check on Eris. He wipes the remaining blood off her pale face before pulling her close to his chest.
