Chapter 191 - She Had Thought of Them as Nobody!

Everyone around could not stop from glancing towards the table as they watched this strange exchange.

They clearly knew of Li Ren Xin's influence in Capital City. QL Group was Li Ren Xin's blood, sweat, and tears. He began with nothing and build his reputation in Capital City. After years, QL Group is one of the largest property group in Capital City and a few other big cities.

When Chairman Li was walking around the hall to greet the others with his grandson, Li Mu Bai, it was always the others who would always greet Chairman Li first.

Except for the Mayor and to his grand daughter-in-law's father, Secretary Bai, Li Ren Xin has not shown too much eagerness when he greeted his guests until this moment.

Through his manners and expression, everyone could see how much Li Ren Xin respected this old man.

Moreover… what did Chairman Li address that elder man? Chairman Zhang? Which Chairman Zhang?

The others began to whisper among each other, wondering who was this strange man. A few who had long recognized Zhang Jing and his grandchildren let out a sneer as they watched those who were in the dark about Zhang Jing's reputation.

They have no intention to explain who was Zhang Jing to those who were ignorant.

Zhang Jing curved his lips into a smile as he shook his hand with Li Ren Xin.

It was at this time that Li Qin Yao snapped out of her trance. "Right. Sorry," she turned to her grandfather and smiled. "I forgot to introduce the two of you. Grandfather, this is Zhang Yu Han's grandfather."

The others continued to watch the exchange as Li Qin Yao introduced her family member to the elder man.

After the introduction, the two old men began to chat as if they were long lost, friends.

Even after watching their exchange, the others were still clueless about Zhang Jing and his grandchildren. A few smarter ones took out their phone and started searching for his name.

It was only then that they knew that the elder man was not someone that they could mess up with. 

Li Mu Chen, who saw the others took out their phone quickly followed their movement to look at Chairman Zhang. Once the clicked on the link, her eyes gradually grew wide. Li Mu Chen tugged on her mother's arms and whispered. "M-mom."

"What's wrong with you?" Zhao Wei shot an annoyed look at her daughter. She was trying to figure out what was going on with the two old men when her daughter disturbed her. 

"Mom, you should look at this," Li Mu Chen shoved her phone to her mother.

It turned out that they were the representative from Zhang Group Worldwide! And she had thought of them as nobody!

But, didn't her niece introduced that tall man as her boyfriend? Then, doesn't that mean that Li Qin Yao was dating someone from Zhang Group?

Not only her nephew, Li Ming Han had backing from an influential family as the Bai, but now, her niece, Li Qin Yao found herself backing through someone from Zhang Group?

Zhao Wei continued to browse through the phone to learn more about Zhang Jing. She had seen how her father-in-law was acting very polite towards that man and knew that his identity was not that simple.

But after browsing through the phone for a while, Zhao Wei could not find what she was looking for. 

Just as she was about to give up, Zhao Wei finally stopped when she found a site with a few old news. After reading on the site for a few minutes, Zhao Wei's expression turned a few shades darker.

Zhang Jing might be famous for his hotel, but what others might not know was that, due to his late wife's family, his Zhang family was someone who had a good connection with the high ranked officials!

Zhao Wei's expression turned ugly as various thoughts went through her mind. Her face felt hot from both embarrassment and anger.

Meanwhile, the two elderly men continued to chat amiably in low voice. Unless if they were standing too close, no one would be able to hear their conversation.

Li Qin Yao stood at the side as she watched the two elderly men chatted. At some point, the two elderly men had pulled out a chair to sit down before they continued to talk.

Because of that, the others too stayed around to surround them. Everyone wanted to catch the attention of those two elder men.

Soon Zhang Yu Han began to notice that the others were surrounding the table.

Worried that his girlfriend might be anxious due to others' attention, Zhang Yu Han took her hand in his and started to rub them gently.

"Are you alright?" Zhang Yu Han whispered when Li Qin Yao tilted her head to look at them. "If you're feeling unwell, we can leave for a while."

Li Qin Yao took a deep breath and lowered her head. Although she was a bit uncomfortable with all the attention, she did not want to leave their grandparents as they were still talking. Moreover, the two of them were someone she addressed as 'Grandfather'.

"I'm alright," she answered after a while. "Aren't you here with me."

Zhang Yu Han let out a helpless sigh. In the end, he could only stick around and held on her hand tightly as if channeling his strength. "Tell me if you're not feeling good, alright?"

Once Li Qin Yao nodded, Zhang Yu Han finally let his heart at ease. 

Fortunately, their grandparents' conversation ended not too long after. Li Ren Xin realized that he still has a few people he needed to greet and he then excused himself after inviting Zhang Jing and his grandchildren to have dinner with them when they were free.

As Li Ren Xin stood up from his seat and turned to leave, Li Mu Bai, who was accompanying his grandfather to greet their business partners turned to Zhang Yu Han and nodded. "Director Zhang."

Zhang Yu Han replied to him in the same manner. "President Li."

He recalled that his girlfriend had mentioned that her relationship with Li Mu Bai was not so bad and therefore was at ease with that man.

Li Mu Bai then turned to Li Qin Yao and said, "Before you leave, come over and find me. There's something I'd like to discuss with you."
