Chapter 209 - Someone is at The Door

Li Qin Yao tried to catch for her breath as she felt something igniting within her. And that heat slowly crept to her skin, overheating her body. She could feel his hand in her hair, drawing her closer to him and preventing her from escaping.

Not that she had any intention to escape right now.

Her mind was in a daze due to the lack of oxygen and she was probably too consumed with his kiss to pull away.

Anyway, she really liked kissing him. Being around Zhang Yu Han made her happy and kissing him awakened an indescribable sensation within her. She realized that she really, really like him.

Once she thought that she would pass out from the lack of oxygen, Li Qin Yao finally drew her lips away from his. Resting her forehead against his forehead, Li Qin Yao panted as she tried to catch up her breath. Their gaze met and Li Qin Yao swallowed as she met his darkened eyes.

His gaze was both seductive and dangerous. Subconsciously, Li Qin Yao looked away to avoid his eyes and her gaze fell on his reddened lips. A soft sigh escaped her and she leaned in to give him another peck.

Before Zhang Yu Han could catch her lips and continue to kiss her, Li Qin Yao had already created a small gap between them. When he looked at her again, Zhang Yu Han did not miss the mischievous grin on her face.

This girl was getting better at teasing him. And it was slowly torturing him. Wanting to be a gentleman can be very hard.

"Zhang Yu Han." Her voice was a whisper.

"Hmm?"

"What should I do?" Li Qin Yao bit at her slightly swollen lips. She continued to stare at him without continuing what she wanted to say and felt a surge of emotion bursting through her ċhėst.

The smile on her lips could not disappear no matter how much she bit the inside of her cheek. Her heart won't calm down no matter how many times she had suċkėd in a deep breath. Her mind felt dizzy as blood rushed through it. Everything was too overwhelming.

Li Qin Yao clasped her hands together behind his neck. His short hair tickled at her hand, but she did not attempt to remove her hands. "I think I love you," she whispered.

His hand around her waist tightened as he tried to bring back his self-control. But soon, his grip loosened at the thought that he might hurt her.

He did not think that he can continue holding on anymore.

It was the words that he always dreamed of hearing. Now that he had heard her enunciating those words, Zhang Yu Han was at loss at how he should react.

"Qin Yao," he tried to speak, but only found that his voice sounded hoarse and very foreign.

Finding that he could not speak things clearly, Zhang Yu Han slowly approached her, and soon, his lips brushed her soft lips before moving to initiate a gentle kiss.

Unlike the previous kiss they shared before, in this kiss, he tried his best to tell her how he felt as he heard those simple words…

The kiss lasted for a while longer before they started to notice that something was wrong.

The doorbell has been ringing for a long time.

Li Qin Yao pulled away and panted before she moved her eyes towards the entrance. "Someone is at the door."

"Just leave them be," Zhang Yu Han said impatiently. "Eventually, they will leave once they realize that we are not able to entertain them."

Li Qin Yao let out a laughed as she avoided his kiss, and seconds later, the doorbell rang again. "Are you sure? Whoever that is, I think that person has rung the bell for a while. Almost as if he knew that you are inside."

He took a few deep breaths to suppress his annoyance before he looked at his girlfriend again with a forced smile. "Alright. I got it. I'll go and open the door."

Li Qin Yao moved over from his ŀȧps to the sofa. Then, she watched as Zhang Yu Han stood up and headed to the door.

"It's my sister," Zhang Yu Han said as he spied at the intercom.

Her eyes grew wide at his words. "Quick. Open the door,"

Zhang Yu Ying was aware that her brother would be staying at home and she would stay to accompany him. If Zhang Yu Han persisted not to open the door for his sister, then, wouldn't Zhang Yu Ying started to suspect something?

How was she supposed to see Zhang Yu Ying after this?

Zhang Yu Han suċkėd in another deep breath before he opened the door for his sister. A deep frown appeared on his face when he saw the bright smile on his sister's face. "Why are you here?"

"Brother, how are you feeling? Better?" Zhang Yu Ying asked. She gave her brother a look over and noticed something amiss. Her brother was looking at her as if she had owed him millions. "Am I disturbing something?"

"It's good that you are aware of that." Zhang Yu Han sneered.

Zhang Yu Ying felt her breath caught in her throat at her brother's hostility. She clicked her tongue in dissatisfaction and said, "Is this how you treat your benefactor?" She lowered her voice. "I was kind enough to give sister-in-law your address and passcode. Aren't you supposed to be thanking me?"

Rolling his eyes at his sister, Zhang Yu Han then leaned his body on the door. "What do you want?"

"Are you not going to invite me inside?" She answered him with a question. "I brought something for my sister-in-law." Zhang Yu Ying lifted the paper bags in her hand before she stood on tiptoe to peek inside the apartment. "Right. Where is my sister-in-law?"

Zhang Yu Han moved his body sideways to look at the living room but found that his girlfriend was no longer sitting on the sofa.

Of course, Zhang Yu Ying used this chance to barge into her brother's apartment.

Zhang Yu Han exhaled a long breath as he watched his sister slipped through him.

Just as Zhang Yu Ying walked into the living room, Li Qin Yao suddenly appeared from the guest room.

Zhang Yu Han watched his girlfriend for a while and noted that she had gone into the guestroom to tidy up herself before his sister could see her messy and disheveled state.

Fortunately, he had held his sister at the door, giving her time to straighten up her clothes and hair. Or else, Zhang Yu Han was sure that his girlfriend would be embarrassed.
