Chapter 425 - Two Young Masters

Not long after, he got a reply from Kevin that he was ready to make a rescue. Meanwhile he was in charge of detaining Mr. Joseph as long as possible.

Just as he stepped into the event room, immediately all eyes were on him who rarely appeared formal and appeared at important events. 

Maxwell's charming face and slender posture made him look charismatic in his luxurious white suit, no wonder all women are captivated by him. But Maxwell ignored them all.

"Hello Uncle?". Said Maxwell, shaking the major's hand.

Mr Joseph immediately looked at Maxwell, he was instantly surprised to see the strange young businessman at such a boring event. 

"Geez, I have young master Max, is this a dream?". Asked the mayor, hugging Maxwell.

After that, Max returned the mayor's hug with a little annoyance because he hated cuddling with men the most.

"This is not a dream, I'm seriously here. Actually I came just to see what kind of tea party it is". Maxwell said after releasing his embrace.

"Who is this young man?". Asked Mr. Joseph, interrupting Maxwell and the mayor's conversation.

"He is the eldest grandson of Adamson, his name is Maxwell Adamson. Do you remember?". The mayor replied, touching Max's shoulder.

"That means he is the President Director of YM Group!". Mr. Joseph was amazed because this was the first time he met the chairman of the company and the Adamson family's eldest grandson. 

Previously he only knew Viona, because Maxwell never appeared in front of him when he was meeting Adamson.

"He is handsome and powerful, he seems the same age as Jasmin. He is suitable to be my son-in-law, then I will ask Jasmin to come back to this city for me to introduce the leader of YM Group''. Mr. Joseph minded with a bright gaze because he had found a man who would be matched with his beloved daughter.

Unfortunately, Mr. Joseph did not know that Jasmin was already in town.

"You are right, he is the President Director of YM Group. But, he is so secretive that not many people know about him. Even the media can't pry about him, isn't he very handsome?". The mayor said proudly because he had known Maxwell for a long time.

"Amazing, I'm lucky to be able to come here and meet the heir of YM group. Even though I'm not that close to your grandfather, I know him quite well. Nice to meet you!". Mr. Joseph said as he shook Maxwell's hand.

"Thank you!". Said Maxwell with a bitter smile because he felt disgusted to touch Mr. Joseph's hand. 

"Papa?".

Hearing this voice, they immediately turned and looked at Julian, who was standing right in front of them. 

"Oh ... Julian, you finally came, how are you?". Greet the mayor in a friendly manner.

"I'm a very good uncle, sorry for being late!". Said Julian with an expression of regret. 

"Today I am very happy, because the young man who will help develop the economy of this city and is very successful in his field is at this simple event, I am honored. Thank you both for coming!". The mayor said with a teary look. 

Instantly Julian noticed Maxwell and glanced at him suspiciously, because he felt Maxwell was carrying out a plan.

"Why is this human here, is he planning something bad?". Inner Julian. 

"Thank you for your compliment!". Maxwell said respectfully. 

"Uncle, this is too much but thanks for telling us that". Julian replied following Maxwell's words in a friendly and respectful manner.

"Hahahaha, they both are great, they know how to talk to older people and they are very polite, I like them. If only I had two more children, I would probably match them. Meanwhile, Sherly was married after being rejected by Julian" . Said the mayor with a chuckle. 

"Of course, the two of them are a bright symbol for this city. Looks like we need to meet Mr. Adamson to thank him for sending his great grandson to this city". Mr. Joseph added, smiling at Maxwell and Julian.

Maxwell felt like vomiting at the sweet attitude of Mr. Joseph who praised him excessively. 

Mr Joseph seemed pleased to see the mayor liked Julian too, at least in the future he would not lack support if he wanted to take up a position higher than a minister. 

"Sure, then let's enjoy this little party!"

"Okay". After that they all went back to enjoying the party. 

"Even though you have a thousand beautiful children, unfortunately I will never want to be your son-in-law. I'm too picky for your standards". Max thought as he took a sip of his drink after he took one drink from the waiter. 

"I think I'm sick of being on this show, but I have to find out where Papa hid Nathan. I don't want to disappoint my sister". Inner Julian who also has the same goal as Maxwell. The difference with Maxwell is that Julian doesn't know where Nathan is.

"Can we talk together?". Asked Maxwell to Julian who had been silent.

"I don't have time". Julian replied, looking away from Max, he still remembered how Maxwell behaved at the press conference at that time.

"Come on, there is something I want to talk about, if you don't want, I'll burn your car right now!". Maxwell begins to force Julian with threats.

Julian became furious to hear what Max said, he knew how Max's character could do anything with just a blink. 

"Don't look at me like that, let's talk carefully!". After saying that Maxwell walked over to the seat not far from where they were standing. 

Julian took a deep breath, after which he followed Maxwell to sit down because he really had to talk to Max. 

Meanwhile, somewhere Kevin headed straight for the location with some of the bodyguards Max sent for him. 

"Why is Mr. Joseph so stupid? Locking someone in that strategic place, let us go on a rescue mission. The singer I believe must be safe immediately!". Kevin said as he entered his luxury car and was followed by his bodyguards.

Not long after that, Kevin and his bodyguards Maxwell went straight to the location they had targeted.
