"Halora!"
"Halora!"
Loud, noisy voices echoed outside of her room. "Get up from the bed, change your clothes and we will leave once you're done!"
"Do you think she heard us?" asked Roy who doubted Sandra's way of waking Halora's sleeping soul.
She smirked, rolled her eyes on him. "She's preparing now, don't worry too much about her." She added that provoked him.
But before they ended up arguing, the door creaked and a young girl who looke delicate and just came out from the bathroom appeared in front of them.
"I... I am sorry, I was in the bathroom. I didn't know that you have been trying to wake me up." Halora apologized for the trouble she had caused.
She bowed her head, looked at Roy secretly, asking for help. "Leave her alone, Sandra! Why don't you pester your crush instead of Halora!"
"Shut up, Adrian!" Sandra exclaimed.
"Better get out from my sight than calling me that name! Hurry up and leave us alone for a second!"
Halora giggled silently when Sandra was convinced with how Roy pretended. She covered her mouth, stopping herself from burst into laughter in front of her.
But Sandra looked at her way and reminded her one last time, "Make it quick or we will leave without you!"
"Yes, I will. I am sorry for the inconvenience." Halora replied.
"Good. Don't forget to bring all your things downstairs!"
Sandra was the one who chose their next destination. From the amusement park, to the mesmerizing scenery of the sunset and beach. And for the last remaining days of their trip, she had requested to be in an exclusive farm of her father.
It was one of their properties and for the final blast, she had planned something that will make Sebastian fall in love with her and late Halora to death.
"Hmm, what's wrong with her? She looks too happy that we're leaving the beach now." She sighed, turned around as she checked her things carefully.
While Roy helped her clean her room before they leave together. He then breathed deeply, and he replied, "I'm not sure but when Sebastian's mother called earlier, she then began smiling that way."
"Hmm I see. By the way, where will be our third and last destination before going back to the City?"
"At Lee's exclusive farm and sanctuary."
"S– sanctuary?"
Halora quickly stopped at that moment when she heard it. She imagined a paradise themed garden with thousands of butterflies, roses and elongated flowers that crawled into the ground.
Without a doubt, Roy nodded his head. He shrugged off his shoulders, packed her things while she looked at nowhere.
"Hey! Hey!" He called her but she was smiling at somewhere distant.
Halora looked like a fool who smiled by herself. Until she screamed at the top of her lungs, jumped high and walked back and forth in front of him.
"Yes! Finally, my wish is being granted." She murmured, clasped her hands, looked at the ceiling and turned around like a princess.
Halora was wearing a thick, white turtle neck sleeve, paired with blue jeans and white rubber shoes. Her glossy ginger red hair was tired into a perfect bun that matched with her precise facial features.
"What's taking you slow? Hurry up and let's go to the farm!" Excitingly, Halora put her hands to her waist, scolded Roy who was helping her to pack her things.
"Stop talking, Halora. Bring your things and we will be leaving anytime soon."
She blinked her eyes, opens her mouth when she realized that Roy carried all of her things and left her with nothing. "Ugh! He's too annoying!" She whispered but Roy stopped right in front of the door, turned around as he opened his mouth widely.
He said, "Don't forget to lock the door."
"Yes, Master!"
By then, Halora looked at her room for the last time. She smiled, remembered every memory that happened in that place.
Until she slowly walked closer to the window, stooped and savored the cold, calm breeze that touched her skin.
"Farewell," she said.
For how many days, her heart filled with joy and happiness. Because of the simple things around her, Halora chose to appreciate it than complaining and hating the world for being unfair to everyone.
However, as she stopped at the main door, she took a deep, long breath and closed her eyes. "Thank you for all the good memories." She added and slowly locked the door as the tears shone on her brown eyes.
"Halora, we're going now!"
Roy called her once again. She gasped, fixed her composure before she replied, "I'm coming!"
From then on, she heard an engine that echoed around the place. She hurriedly ran downstairs, and saw a black car waiting outside.
She was surprised as the seashore was filled with tourists who enjoyed it a lot. "Follow me, now!" spoke Sebastian from behind.
Without a single word, she bowed, followed him silently as she didn't remember her beautiful nightmare last night.
"Get into the car, fasten your seatbelt and eat this. Do you understand?" His cold, husky voice brought fear to her system.
Halora glanced up at him, looked into his blue eyes and she replied, "I... I c– can't take all of these! I... I am not h– hungry."
"Damn it! Whether you like to eat or not, you have no choice but to say yes to me!"
"Why are you shouting at me? I... I just told you that I'm not hungry but I didn't tell you that I will not accept all of these."
At that awkward moment, Sebastian gritted his teeth, clenched his fists as he wanted to punch himself for being a jerk.
He then sighed, caressed his temple as he held the door for a second, "Whatever! Just get into the car and follow my command if you don't want to be punish."
Even though she was confused of his actions, Halora nodded her head and smiled bitterly at him.
"Thank you. I never thought that you are a sweet, caring bad boy." She whispered before she ducked and went into the car.
Little did she knew, Sebastian heard those words that flattered him the most.
