Chapter 131 - 131: What The Hell Is Wrong With Me?

Despite everything that happened, Halora swallowed her pride and tried to redeem her honor. She was not type of girl that would surrender to a stranger that she only met few hours ago.

She sighed, bit her lower lip when she saw him standing in front of the car. He was calm, breathed heavily and fortunately, he controlled the outrage.

Halora gulped, looked behind her for a second and saw Roy from a distant as he caressed his wounded lip.

"You can do it!" Roy told her through gestures.

Surprisingly, she took step ahead but abruptly, Sebastian turned around that startled both of them.

"Ahhh!" she screamed.

But her right foot was slipped to the ground as she stumbled and caught off guard. She looked at him embarrassingly until she felt a warm, tender touch on her waist.

It was an awkward, yet romantic position that usually happened in the movies. Halora blinked her eyes, swallowed greedily as she can't get off of her eyes from his alluring, deep gaze.

His bluish eyes glinted when he slightly moved his head and opened his mouth.

"I'm sorry," he paused that made her shocked and amazed. Sebastian helped her stood firm and straight, cleared his throat and let go of her quickly. "I am really sorry for what I've said earlier. I... I wasn't aware that you were behind of me–"

"Why are you saying that? Of course, it's not a big deal for me." she giggled bitterly. But the truth was, she wanted to confess and whatever happens, she was willing to accept his decision with no doubt. "And to be honest, I didn't hear everything, so there's nothing to be sorry for."

Halora cut him off as quick as a wild fire in the forest. She never wanted to go beyond her limits and she thought, after the last examination, and when Sebastian succeeded in his goal, she would tell him her true feelings for him but she will never expect something in return.

A long silence urged Sebastian to be real and genuine. He saw sadness in her eyes but he chose to respect her decision and waited for a confirmation before the next move and plan.

"I know you're lying but if it what makes you at peace, I won't force you anymore." he said coldly but gritted his teeth in outrage.

He was jealous of Markus who has been with her for how many hours. Sebastian couldn't explain what and how he felt the moment he them together.

He sighed, looked away from her pitiful brown eyes. "But, can you tell me where and how you met him?"

"Him? You mean, Ma– Markus?"

"Why? Is there another stranger you met while running away from me? Is that what you're trying to say, huh?!"

Halora closed her eyes when she knew that it was all real. She glanced up to his eyes, moved her head to the right and pouted her lips that suddenly caught his attention.

He said, "Stop pouting!"

"B– but why? I... I don't know how to tell you how we met if you're looking at me that way!"

"This it what I am! So now, tell me the truth and I will listen."

She had no choice but to bow her head down and looked at her feet. She founded it cute while she tried to please the young, jealous alpha.

But before she could utter a word, a loud laughter echoed around that caught Roy and Sebastian's attention. She took off her eyeglasses, held it tightly enough until he held her chin and forced her to look at his eyes.

His brow furrowed, his cheeks turned scarlet when he saw her perfect face. She was gorgeous without an eyeglasses and her sweet, loud laughter became a beautiful music to his ears.

But, he shook his head, grabbed her wrist and he said, "Why are you laughing? Am I that funny?"

"N– nothing!" She waved her hands until...

"Tell me!"

Halora covered her mouth and she said, "You looked handsome when you're frowning! Ha ha ha ha!"

Behind them, Roy rubbed his nape, cleared his throat when he heard it from her. If things were different, he would have felt envy of Sebastian but, everything happened in the other way around.

He gasped, spit the blood to the ground from his lips with a short smile on his lips, "This love birds is getting into my nerves! Why don't they confess to each other and live happily ever after before I change my mind."

It seemed like Sebastian heard it from a distance. He quickly pulled her closer to him, looked at her face for a couple of minutes that startled Halora to death.

She thought it would be a smooth confrontation, but it turned out to be a romantic, breathtaking meeting.

Both of them listened to the loud sound of their heartbeat. Sebastian couldn't control his emotion but, it was not the perfect time for it.

"I... I'm sorry! I didn't mean to startle you, Halora!"

Out of the blue, he withdrew his actions and let go of her hands. He turned around on her, took a deep, long breath before he faced her again.

That moment, Halora realized and concluded that it was only a one-sided love. He was maybe her first love but she will never try harder to get into his life and expect something possible.

From now on, she will never rely to him. They have different lives and the best thing she could do it to be his tutor the entire school year.

"I– it's getting colder here! W– why don't we get inside of the house and let us talk about it with a cup of tea, what do you think?"

It made him stop at the moment. He wanted to embrace her tightly but his mind told him not to do it for now. He wasn't a coward, but a genuine person who waited for the perfect timing.

He blinked his eyes, nodded his head for a second. "I– inside of the h– house? Y– yes! That's a great idea!" He said as he secretly closed his fists and invited Roy through eye contact.

"What is the hell wrong with me?" he thought as he followed Halora inside id the house.
