108 Chapter 107: Too noisy

Name:Part Wolf Author:obsessedWithWolves
"Yes! Thank you!" Elize shouted, looking up at him with a drunk smile.

Elize thought that the prince had never looked more attractive than he did today. The girl who he'd date would be the happiest. After all, if he was such a good friend to her, then he'd be a better boyfriend to his future girlfriend, she noted. Her drunk mind was not working pretty well, but she knew that she was utterly thankful for the kelpie being her friend. If not for him, she wouldn't have had such a fun night. This was the most fun, that she'd ever had in her life.

"You wanna go back and rest?" He asked, putting on a charming smile.

Elize shook her head, closing her eyes tightly. Scrunching her face in protest she shouted over the blaring music, "No! I like dancing with you!"

Lloyd laughed heartily at the reply. Elize poked his chest, narrowing her eyes at him. She didn't understand why he was laughing at her. What was so funny about what she just said? She thought irritated.

Spotting the mood change, the prince quickly stopped laughing and leaned down to pat her head.

"I like dancing with you too." He reassured her. With a concerned look, he asked, "Will you be alright if I take a rain check?"

Elize thought for a moment before answering the question. If he came quick, it would be alright, she thought to herself. Deciding on her answer, she said with a wide grin, "Okay...But don't be gone for too long."

"I don't think I'll be able to stay away for too long anyway," Lloyd replied with a wink.

Elize giggled, seeing his action. He looked like a cute little puppy when he did that, she thought in her drunk mind. "I like you." She said, pointing her finger at his nose.

Lloyd chuckled. "I know." He said, tucking her long hair behind her ears. "Don't go anywhere." He warned before walking away.

Elize sighed, watching his retreating back. Great! Now she had to wait for him, she thought bored. That was when she spotted the waiter moving around the crowd with his tray full of drinks. She licked her lips, remembering the sweet taste of the pixie mixture. It was perfect timing since she knew that Lloyd wouldn't have agreed on another round if he was there. She waited patiently for the waiter to pass through where she was standing.

As soon as the boy came near her, she pounced on him, shouting,

"Wait! I'll have one more!"

The boy was startled, suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. Elize took advantage of the situation and grabbed a tall glass from the tray.

"Madame!" He exclaimed, his eyes widening in fear. Elize could see that he was human. Watching her take the first gulp with a smug look on her face, he stuttered, "but, but... are you sure?"

"Yes, yes," Elize said, pushing the empty glass at him. Shaking her finger, she scolded him, "Don't try to act like my brother now. Because believe me Alex doesn't let me drink."

"I uh..." The waiter looked at her awkwardly.

Elize looked at the boy curiously. It seemed like he didn't know her brother. She felt that it was necessary for her to explain to the boy who Alex was. Maybe then, he'd understand what she was talking about. Thought a drunk Elize.

"Don't you know Alex?" She asked, scrunching her face in disappointment. With a sigh, she said, "He's got all of our mother's good looks. I wish I looked more like her."

"Oh but you're pretty too." A man said, coming up to where she stood.

"Gee, thank you," Elize said, giggling.

"Would you care to dance with me?" The man said, extending his hand towards her.

Elize shook her head, pouting her lips in distaste. "Oh no thank you. I'm waiting here for someone." She said, folding her hands over her chest.

"I insist." The man said, taking another step toward her.

The waiter quickly stepped up, standing in front of her and the stranger. "Sir, please. She's with the prince." He warned.

"So what? I don't think she's that important." The man said with a shrug.

Elize narrowed her eyes at him. Who was he to tell her that she was not important?! If he knew who she was then-

"Back off." A familiar deep voice warned before she could complete that line of thought.

Elize rolled her eyes as she watched Zack stepped in front of her protectively, pushing the waiter to the side. His muscles tensed as he faced the man who just said that she was not important. The waiter looked at her in concern. She smiled at him reassuringly.

"Oooh Alpha Zachariah! Come to taste a share of the royal desert?" She heard the stranger ask.

Zack growled threateningly as a reply. She saw the man step back in fear.

"Good wolfie," she said patting his back.

"Tch fine. Whatever." The man spat and walked away.

Turning to the waiter, Zack said, "You can go now."

"But-" The waiter hesitated, looking at Elize with concern.

"He's fine," Elize said, reassuring the boy. She then turned to Zack and asked, "You are my mate right?"

A look of confusion crossed his face, but it was replaced by guilt as he noticed her serious expression. "Elize I.."

"Oh! shhh. I'll be quiet." She said, putting a finger to her mouth, with a cautious expression. She narrowed her eyes at him "Why are you here? Did you get bored with that bitch?" She asked, pointing towards the side of the crowd he had appeared from.

Zack sighed. "Elize...Eun Ae is like a little sister to me." He explained with a pained expression.

"Sure, sure. Go and play house with your sister then. Come to me when you're ready to be a man again." She said dismissively.

"You're drunk," Zack said, stepping towards her.

Elize took a step back. "Of course I am! I'm supposed to have fun!" She shouted. Lowering her voice, she said coldly, "You should go."

Zack shook his head. With a desperate look, he said, "Elize, listen to me. I need you to stay away from-"

"Me?" Lloyd asked, interrupting the conversation.

Elize turned towards the kelpie who had suddenly appeared by her side once again. She quickly held on to his arm. With a wide smile, she exclaimed, "My best friend!"

"My cute little wolf," Lloyd said, patting her head.

"Take your hands off of her," Zack warned, irritated.

"Oh? And why should I?" Lloyd asked with a smirk.

Elize tried to hide behind the kelpie's back. The loud arguments were starting to get irritating. She wanted to punch someone badly.

"She's my-" Zack hesitated.

"Your what?" Lloyd taunted.

"Zack, stop." Nina's voice came from ahead.

Elize peeked to the direction, waving to her. She wanted to get out of this situation. Why was Zack ruining her night? And why was everyone suddenly being so loud? She thought, scratching her head in irritation. All of a sudden, her skin was itching all over. Elize was on the verge of going crazy.

"She's my-" Zack's hesitant voice came again.

Mate! Why can't he say, mate?! Elize thought angrily.

"The Alpha doesn't have an answer? Why are you spoiling her night Zack?" Lloyd asked, pushing her behind him.

"Get your fucking hands off of her!" Zack thundered, his voice shaking the room.

The music had stopped. All eyes were now on them.

"Aargh! So loud!" Elize shouted, pressing her hands against her ears.

"I think you need to calm down first Alpha," Lloyd warned, looking at Elize with concern.

A loud growl shook the room. Elize closed her eyes in irritation. Her body was heating up rapidly. And she wanted everyone to stop shouting so much. The noise was only getting her more worked up.

"Let's fight it out," Zack said, stepping towards them.

"I don't want to. You'll have a huge disadvantage." Lloyd teased.

"Man to man. No magic, no shifting. It's a fair deal." Zack said, staring coldly at the prince.

"Agatha darling, can you take Elize to the side? I don't want her to get disturbed." Lloyd said, pushing Elize ever so slightly towards his side.

As a pair of hands were about to grab her, she quickly squatted it away.

"Ouch!" Agatha exclaimed.

Elize opened her eyes in surprise. Looking at her friend apologetically, she said guiltily, "Sorry."

"Come," Agatha said, pushing her towards the bar.

Elize went along, glad to avoid the noise. She scratched her neck fiercely as the itching sensation intensified.

"The first man to quit loses." Zack's voice rose in the silent hall.

Lloyd laughed. "Are we betting for rights on her now?" He asked, looking towards her.

Elize stilled for a moment, as she concentrated on smiling back at him. It was hard since she was suddenly feeling suffocated inside her own body.

"Yoooooooooouuu!!!" Zack screamed as he charged against the Kelpie.

Elize turned to look at her hand before the fight began. For a moment her vision blurred, the only active sense in her body being a heightened sense of hearing. She could hear the sound of fists landing on bodies, muscles rupturing and even bones cracking. It was irritating.

"Too noisy. Tell them to stop, Agatha." She said, rubbing her eyes.
