204 Chapter 204: Red Packets 6

"Charlie Kang, come back here this instant."

A domineering voice roared at the other end of the line.

Charlie immediately shivered as he heard his father's voice.

"But, I'm at brother Ian's wedding party."

"You dare to make me wait?"

"No father I'll go home now. Bye see you."

He hastily ended the call and sulkingly looked at TP.

"My father had summon me."

He wanted to cry, he had only spend time with his future wife after a long time of separation and now he had to leave her.

"Go, I'll be fine."

TP nonchalantly said. Acting as if she wasn't a bit sad that Charlie will leave.

Charlie went and bid farewell to the bride and groom as well as the other guests.

He then reluctantly leave the Lee mansion.

TP was alone sitting and sipping her wine when Andy went up to her.

"Tut tut tut.. I can't understand you brats falling for men who likes to eat vinegar."

He shake his head in disappointment. TP just rolled her eyes and they continued catching up.

Meanwhile, a tipsy girl walked up to the stage and sang random happy songs.

The band were all eating and having their break. Mei Chen went to the piano and started playing love songs.

Tia stood up and reached for Ian's hand.

"Care to dance my king?"

She asked him. Ian was somewhat dumbfounded but the cheering from the crowd especially from his mom who was practically bullying him he valiantly stood up and joined Tia.

They started doing waltz the drunken Mei Chen wanted to tease them so she started playing a slow sultry music from the piano.

Tia blushed from the music and wanted to sit down but Ian grabbed her waist.

And they slow dance infront of their friends. Elia was amused by how things played out.

She was delighted that his son, who was an indifferent snob finally started to mingle and show his emotions.

After the slow jams Mei Chen slump down to the grand piano.

Kenny helped her up and one of the maids escorted them to the guest room.

Tia went to check on Mei Chen.

"Hey, is she okay?"

She worriedly asked. She knew Mei Chen wasn't a drinker. Back when they had their gathering she opted for a juice drink and didn't even sip a little alcohol.

"She'll be fine. I think she had just too much to drink."

"But isn't she on medication? Why d'you allow her to drink?"

"She's only taking supplements, but don't tell her. She thinks she's still taking meds."

Kenny explained. Tia dubiously looked at him then nudge at Kenny.

"You, don't make her cry. Okay? If you do, I'll hunt you down!"

Tia warned Kenny. Then she went and go back to her hubby who was eyeing them while she was talking with Kenny.

The party ended peacefully and the newlyweds were kinda exhausted.

TP went to their lovenest, while her brother Andy and his family went back to their hotel.

The newlyweds decided to stay at the Mansion. Tia entered Ian's bedroom while her husband was talking to his father about business.

She began to look around and saw old pictures of the young Ian together with his toy collections and other vintage stuff.

She looked at one particular photo of Ian when he was 11 years old. A year after the abduction.

He was sitting at garden reading peacefully. The photo was so candid and serene.

His face looks so innocent but there's a hint of indifference in his eyes.

Her heart started to ache remembering the things that had happened in the past.

She walk away from the photo and then she found the king size bed.

She then notice a big, red rectangular thing on top of the bed.

She walked closer and she read the note on the attached to the gift.

'A red packet for the newlyweds.'

She thought it was a surprise present from Ian's parents.

Out of curiosity, she ripped the gift open.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

Tia let out a loud scream and fainted upon seeing what's inside.
