"Oh my god!"

Mei Chen gasped as Kenny's action gave her a start.

"What are you thinking about hmm?"

Kenny asked as he draped his coat over Mei Chen's petite body.

"Say, do you think I'll become famous if I started my singing career?"

"Of course you will. Not just locally but internationally as well."

Kenny honestly replied. He's confident with his princess talent that she would someday conquer the music world.

"Don't be ridiculous.."

"I'm telling the truth tho."

"Don't worry. You can do it. Aunt Elia's offer sounds good."

He reassuringly said. Mei Chen looked at him incredulously.

"I can't believe you would eavesdrop!"

Mei Chen said playfully hitting Kenny's shoulders.

"Hey, it was an accident. I didn't mean to overhear you guys."

Kenny explained. He just saw Mei Chen walking towards the garden so he followed her.

He didn't know Elia would be with her and discussed her music career.

"I don't think I can do it."

"What's wrong... You're so good at singing. Is there something holding you back?"

Kenny asked. Being a psychiatrist, he had a way with people to open up to him.

Mei Chen deeply inhaled and started to pour out her frustrations to him.

She told him about how when she was just a young girl she really do aspire to be a singer.

She would sing at family parties and she enjoys pleasing the crowd. But when she was bullied cause of her love for music everything changed.

Her dad succumb to depression and had became alcoholic, while her mom who couldn't take the pressure of their family problems had decided to leave them and married another man.

She decided to cast everything involving her mother away. Including her singing voice.

Many people say that she had inherited her angelic voice from her mom and so she decided to not sing anymore espexially infront of her dad cause she doesn't want to be associated with her mom in any way.

She pursued her career in game development cause like her sister Tia, during her dark times computer games were the only thing that helped her through.

Behind her cute avatar is a girl dealing with life problems trying to get by.

Since her mom left she never ever sang a single song infront of someone else.

It was only during her sister Tia's wedding that she had started singing infront of the crowd again.

Hearing her story, Kenny hugged her tighter.

"Princess, you don't need to think about your mom. Your voice is your talent and it doesn't have anything to do with her."

"I could tell you love music and love to share music with everyone. So you don't need to hold back. Do the thing yhat you really love."

Kenny whispered. He saw how Mei Chen looked when she sings.

Its like she was so free and happy that he really wanted for her to pursue her singing career.

Mei Chen tears started to flow down her face. Kenny was right, she really do want to share the music with everyone.

She enjoyed seeing people's face light up when they heard her voice.

She had decided to give her music career a shot. If all else fail, she could just come back being her sister Tia's secretary.

Kenny slowly wiped her tears away and gently kissed his princess' soft lips under the glowing moonlight.
