140 Time To Move Out: Part 19

Thursday, 30th of April 2021. Forward Operating Base. Meeting Room. 1500 Hours.

Nathan continued his meeting by turning his computer back on. He opened the presentation that was about the heist plan. He showed the image of a Mil Mi-26M.

"Ok, heavy-lift helicopter, used for transporting the gold to somewhere else," Nathan said as he explained the same plan again.

"Due to a certain fiasco, I need Alex and Clara to infiltrate a communication tower a day prior to the infiltration to steal the helicopter itself," Nathan said to the others.

"Sounds risky, but I love it, let's go, which com tower?" Clara asked.

Nathan showed a map on his presentation. It was the map of the coordinate of the cell tower that was chosen as their target. It was a cell tower located right inside the Trinity high school, the place which Clara didn't want to visit.

"Our school?" Patrick commented.

"Yup, your school, at least until you bombed the crap out of it to oblivion," Nathan commented as he showed him the picture of Trinity school image.

It wasn't more than a pile of rubble in the middle of an open complex. The only building that was still standing was the dormitory which was emptied after that bombing accident. The students were evacuated and given a holiday until they found a safer place.

The school was now abandoned without anyone guarded that area. It was an easy infiltration that required no experience, in short, anyone could do it.

"Hmm, It has been a while hasn't it?" Clara looked at the picture of the old school.

"Yeah, it has been quite a while," Lynn said, "and my other eye isn't available yet."

"Haha, I forgot about it. I thought you don't request a new eye," Alone said.

"You what?" Lynn looked at her with malicious intent. It was so malicious that the iris of her bionic eye turned into the combat mode eye where the pupil turned from a round view into something less human.

Bionic eye, in general, at least what the contractors used, only has few resemblances to a real human eye. If someone looked too close to the iris, they would find that there were three thin circles surrounding the pupil of the eye. If the contractor was on combat mode, the circle would thicken. It was made for quick adaptation for combat mode, in short, the eye was immune to a flashbang. It also helped the contractor with minor night vision, but an NVG would do the job better.

"Haha, calm down Lynn, you can get out of a secret government facility by yourself right?" Aline teased her.

"Not really, these people rescued me from the Trinity site," Lynn referred to Patrick and Clara.

"Let's be honest here, those two were unease and would help you even if you didn't ask," Aline said.

"But, I request their help," Lynn said.

Lynn sighed, "I get your point. You thought I'm ok without an eye? Guess what, I'm not."

"Haha, I'll get you a new one fast. Don't worry," Aline said.

"Thanks," Lynn said

Nathan coughed to grab everyone's attention. Everyone looked at him who was looking at two girls who were arguing. Nathan continued his presentation.

"I guess that's it for now. Well, I know this has been a tiring day, but we have to move quickly. Clara, Alex, I want you to get to that school ASAP. Tonight is preferred," Nathan said.

"Roger that Nathan," Clara said.

"Well, tonight will be another sleepless night. Well, Clara, meet me at the coffee shop where Patrick usually works," Alex said.

"Oki Doki," Clara said.

"I won't participate ok, I'll be busy serving customers, well, good luck to both of you," Patrick said.

"Well then, dismissed," Nathan closed her laptop and all of the contractors stood up from their chairs. They got out of the room one by one and continued with their business whether it was doing a contract or doing any homework. Nevertheless, nobody wanted to be bothered.

Thursday, 30th of April 2021. Coffee shop near Trinity high school. 2200 Hours.

"Here you go sir, one cup of cappuccino with extra foam," Patrick gave a cup to that old man that was sitting near the window. On the outside, a black SUV was parked with the people inside of it. 5hey were Clara and Alex who were waiting for nothing except for two cups of coffee.

They waited with an assault rifle on their hands. Patrick came outside of the coffee shop and gave those two big cups of coffee to them. Clara thanked him and she drove away without paying.

"Dang, this is on me? Again?" Patrick walked back to the coffee shop.

Alex opened the hologram map on his PDA. He observed the school complex. Clara didn't do it since she was driving and she knew the layout of her own school. Clara concentrated her attention on the road.

"Alex, what are you doing?" Clara asked.

"Observing that school complex for an escape point and any possible hostile hideout," Alex said as he marked several points on the map with a box.

"Marker added, ok, Clara, where's the entry point?" Alex asked.

"We can climb the wall or just break through the gate. Either way, nobody will care," Clara said as they saw the dormitory building of Trinity high school from afar.

The building was very dark and looked very abandoned. There was some graffiti on that building, indicating that the building was abandoned for a very long time.

"You used to live there?" Alex asked.

"We used to live there, it was fun if not for the fact that it was a government secret project," Clara said.

"I see, well, get ready, we'll be entering the complex shortly," Alex said as Clara parked the car in front of that school complex.
