Chapter 112 - 106.1

Fortunately, Yuma was careful not to land a fatal blow on his opponent. He would just beat him up to an unrecognizable state and let him admit defeat.

Yuma decided to divert his attacks to Mika's face after punching the other on his stomach.

The bloodied lips of the young man still held his gentle smile yet his grip on Yuma's hand was hard, crushing the latter's bones.

"Ack!" Yuma grunted as his hands was crushed by this unimaginable strength. He did now realized that his opponent was truly terrifying.

"Not my face but your face."

Instead of the expected fate of the poor Secosana student as he waited for the attack of the smiling Mika which he couldn't avoid as he felt an immense fear that suppressed his movement.

Strangely, he saw a shadow of a demon with two bloody pointed horns that overlapped his opponent.

Or he might be seeing death?

A bellowing noise caught the attention of the people as they saw a terrrifying golden bird that almost covered the arena hall. The originally two antennas by its head was replaced by a protruding sturdy sharp horn that was emittting eletric sparks.

The silver haired youth was impressed by the performance of Xiao Fen as she didn't expect that he was hiding some of his tricks.

Maybe she could establish her own carnival if she wants urgent money?

Chun decided to stop fooling around as she looked for the demon general who was discreetly gesturing to the other two.

They were supposed to start on the fifth day by didn't thought that some variables would come up. Even though Mika sighed for the unfortunate ordeal still it was good to start earlier as well. The portals were already in-placed, though his demon soldiers were not yet ready but he could just take the risk from this chaos.

Headmaster Spinther was planning to appease the legendary beast by talking to it. Knowing that it was an intelligent beast from its appearance.

The crowd had no idea that this beast that ȧssumed to be just a rare type of its kind was in fact a divine beast that was guarding the mountain of the deities and also the legendary Thundra.

Because the brilliant Xiao Fen changed its appearance, they didn't recognized him. Although, Thundras could only be found in the deities' mountain, there was still drawn illustrations of them.

Before the headmaster could open its mouth, the thunder bird started to screech again and they felt a turbulent energy gathering on its horn.

Screeeeeech!

"So weak! With one hit of my divine ninth thunder I could incinerate you all!" Xiao Fen continued to boast as he played with the martial practitioners who were attacking him. Though, only the silver haired young man could understand his ramblings as Chun talked to her students while the crowd was running for their lives.

"Teacher, that beast is so scary but why is it so familiar?" Kai Sun stated as he inspected the flying golden bird as it was playing with the cultivators.

The others nodded as well as they felt that the flying beast was so familiar.

Chun praised for her student's sharp mind but it was not time for that as she continued to instruct, "Wear your equipments now."

Instinctively, they followed but somehow in the middle of wearing the micro protection coat, Han asked.

"Teacher, is there something going to happen?"

Chun smiled as she responded vaguely, "I'm going to handle some stuffs. You go first."

The silver haired young man immediately went away.

"Teacher!" They called out but their handler already disappeared.

"Guys, what are we going to do?" Kai Sun stated as he looked around in alert while the people were running to the exit.

"Let's go. We are no help here," Han stated rationally as they had no ability to ȧssist those martial practitioners who were fighting off the thunder bird.

"But teacher is there!" Li Li said as she sensed that there was more to what the silver haired youth had stated a while ago.

"No. We're not going there, we'll be a burden!" Han debated.

Li Li and Han argued as no one moved from their spot.

"Leader, what's your decision?" Terra suddenly interrupted while looking at the sloth young man.

Lerrent was silent as he observed the surroundings. He narrowed his eyes as he noticed something other than the ruckus from the beast and the cultivators.

"Let's stay. We have more important things to do."

Han frowned from hearing that but Li Li brightened up. The ȧssassin had no choice but to stay as well. He was part of the group and as a team, what the leader decided then they must follow to it.

-----

Chun hurried to the spot where the three demon generals were standing as they summoned the portals. The portals connected to the dark lands was already set around the boundaries of the Institute. They only needed to open it up.

Due to the deterrent of the match, they were utmost at ease about the situation despite the not prepared demon soldiers, Fourth believed that things would still go smoothly.

The silver haired young man was about to attack the conjured enchantment but the seductive demon general suddenly showed up in her path as she stated with a smirk.

"Too late."

Black portals appeared, surrounding the boundaries of the institute as they were like black spots dotting the blue skies.

The martial practitioners who were inside the institute had a horrified look on them as they felt bad news on this floating black holes.

Even the headmaster who were busy fighting the Thundra stopped their movements. He knew that this won't go well, looking from that engravings on those portals. Dark energy were looming in it.

Suddenly, the smiling gentleman commanded, "Go down my soldiers!"

Dropping 'objects' fell from the portals as immediately fear struck the faces of the people who realized what were the falling shadows were. It were demons!

Chun was restrained in the hands of Sixth as she pretend to be motionless. The silver haired young man knew that these demon generals knew her identity already so it was useless to hide it from them.

An identity of being a enchantress who stole their sole prince from their clan.

Sixth smiled seductively as she let Chun witness the suffering of her fellow mortals. Their cries were heard as the demons were starting their slaughter.

'Such a poor thing.'

She stroked the smooth face of the silver haired young man as she stated, "I thought our Prince cohabited with a beautiful girl but I never thought that it was a beautiful boy."

Eighth frowned from the misbehaving behavior of the other as he reprimanded, "Stop playing with the prey."

"Oh, the cute Eighth is jealous? Don't be, you're still number one in my heart!"

"What did you say?! Jealous?!"

They were about to fight but just one stare from the smiling gentleman made them behave. Shivers ran down on their spine as Fourth widened his smile while turning his attention to the silent silver haired young man.

"Where's our Prince?" Fourth asked while awaiting for Art to show up to save his precious person.

Chun ignored the other. Fourth was irritated by her silence as his smile turned gentler.

"Well then, let's make the Prince shows up."

His actions were stopped as they forgot that the flying beast was still there. As if on cue, Xiao Fen screeched as he started to get serious. The real play was now starting as the real enemies showed up.

Screeeeeech!

The blue skies who were covered by black portals were turning gray as the Thundra controlled the weather. As a divine beast with elements of thunder and lightning, manipulation of the weather was a piece of cake.

The seven students who were climbing the edge of the arena hall stopped for a moment as they thought they were lucky that their handler asked them to wear this protective coat.

The gray skies during winter signified that snow would be coming, it meant that hard solid ice would be dropping from the skies.

And these things could slow down the demons' travel through the portals.

Knowing these, the martial practitioners immediately activated their qi barriers as to protect themselves from the dangerous debris.

Fourth frowned on this misfortune as he ordered some of the demons to bring down the thunder bird as it was the one controlling the weather.

'Be careful, Xiao Fen.'

'Chun-ni master is concern on me? Hehe. I will try hard to kill as many demons as I can!'

Xiao Fen was motivated by his young master's concern as he begun to summon his destructive lightning power, specifically hitting those demons.

The martial practitioners felt grateful that the terrifying beast perhaps was on their side due to its action. It was even avoiding to land an attack on them.

Though, the falling solid ice were hindering the black portals, Fourth was back being calm as he knew that this weather would not last. Until the foundations of the portals weren't destroyed then it would be fine.

But perhaps expecting something could lead you to ignorance.

He didn't know that Lerrent and his team were starting to destroy those so-called foundations.
