27 Proposed Compromise 1

Li Wei watched Fan MeiLi as she kept glancing at the door, look as if she was about to run. Smirking, he wonders what she was going to do with the information he stated. He wasn't sure about the information he received but Fan MeiLi's reaction made him certain that she was the one sending him information, the only question was why.

The report that was given to him mention that she just returned back to China and has no connection to the Hansoo group's field of work, so why was she so concerned about the company. So many questions went through Li Wei's mind as he thought about Fan MeiLi.

He hated having someone who has many secrets near his side but Fan MeiLi might be useful for his plans. Looking down, he thought about how he will make her help him without scaring her away from his proposal.

Fan MeiLi was having a mini breakdown and really was thinking about running. Of course, that weird feeling was on full power today making her in need of a new plan. She knew about how Li Wei worked after being his personal secretary for a few months, and he was a scary man.

"Sir, if that was all you wished to speak about, can I go?" Fan MeiLi asked keeping a calm voice.

Li Wei really did think Fan MeiLi was a very unique lady if not a brave one. She knew he wanted her to explain but opted out and wished to leave. "Miss Fan, since you wish to hide behind a smile, maybe this isn't the right job for you." He said coolly.

Fan MeiLi's eyes widen in shock hearing his words and couldn't believe her ears. He was planning on firing her because she wished to keep quiet about her secrets. Fan MeiLi had to keep a cap on her emotions because he was still her boss. She looked at him and only felt that her first impression of him was correct, he was a rude jerk.

"CEO Li, I don't understand what you mean, are you firing me?" She asked with a neutral face.

"I said no such thing, Miss Fan, I just stated that you should be honest."

Fan MeiLi wanted to laugh but kept calm, looking at her boss she could see his game. Bad for him because Fan MeiLi was a champion when it comes to talking in a roundabout way, "Sir, I have no problem being honest with others. If you wish for me to be honest than can you ask me what you have on your mind."

Li Wei was honestly surprised he never thought that someone would have the guts to put on such a front and try to outsmart him. "Miss Fan, you really are a brave lady so I'll give you a chance. Are you the hacker who send me information about my company."

"Hacker? Information? I'm sorry, sir, I have no idea what you mean. I'm just a normal young lady who just recently returned back to China, also I have no talent with computers." She said with a smile.

"Really? I did give you a chance." Li Wei stated then reached in his folder and pulled out a picture and handed it to Fan MeiLi.

Fan MeiLi looked at the picture and was really surprised to see a photo of Adam Yu, and glanced up at Li Wei. "So Miss Fan, are you ready, to be honest now?" Li Wei asked with a cold smile.

Fan MeiLi heart was really pounding and she couldn't think of a way to get out this without Li Wei digging deeper in her past. Taking a deep breath, Fan MeiLi looked at her boss and put the picture on the table, "CEO Li, I'm a lady who wants a peaceful life, so what do you want?"

Li Wei gave Fan MeiLi a cold stare, leaning forward he looked straight in her eyes, "I have a plan that I think you can help me with, Miss Fan."
