32 Night of Surprises 2

After ordering their meals, Adam Xing started to urge Li Wei to tell the group more about Fan MeiLi. "Tell us all where did you the two of you meet and what sparked the flame of love."

Li Wei looked at Fan MeiLi and smiled, "She works in my company and after many different meeting, we found that we have feelings for each other."

"Really! I can't believe that you were able to keep your relationship hidden for such a long time. Miss Fan, can you tell us what you like about our Li Wei." Emily Xu said with a forced smile.

Fan MeiLi had a great skill at reading other faces, and she could tell that this Emily lady had something against her even though she was showing a kind expression. Fan MeiLi put on a sweet smile and tilted her head to the side, "I know Li Wei can be scary and cold sometimes, but I saw the warm and loving heart he hid deep down and it touched me. It made me want to learn more about his personality and the other sides he kept hidden away." She said with a slight blush.

Li Wei took a sip of his tea and chuckled lightly when listening to Fan MeiLi's story about her feelings for him. He was happy that Fan MeiLi was doing her job correctly, she might have skills as a hacker but he wasn't sure what she would if put on the spot. Now after hearing her story Li Wei was only more convinced that he made the correct decision.

Fan MeiLi and Li Wei continued to tell the group about their relationship and only stopped when their food arrived. Seeing the high-grade sushi and sashimi dishes made Fan MeiLi super happy and so ready to enjoy the delicious food. As Fan MeiLi was enjoying her meal she completely droned out the others and focused on the dishes in front of her with happy thoughts. Li Wei showed a small smile while watching Fan MeiLi eating, it seemed he discovered another weakness of Miss Fan.

Emily Xu clenched her teeth while watching Li Wei look at Fan MeiLi with such loving expression and it made her want to scream. "Li Wei, we should talk about our new business project. The SX mall is sure to be a huge hit with my designs and your company's name." Emily said with a smile hoping to leave Fan MeiLi out of the conversation.

Li Wei put his chopsticks down and thought about the project that the Hansoo group was doing with the Xu group. "I also believe that the SX mall will be very promising and it would also give new artists and shops a chance to show the world their talents and skills. I already heard that all of the shops have signed the contract to have their works be in our mall all expect JY's Jewelry."

James finished his tea and looked at Li Wei, "I have talked to the CEO of that company, and she explained that she had no wishes to partner up with us for our project."

"What! How could that be? Li Wei didn't Jenny Young personally give you the 'Desert Star'. I thought that was a sign of good faith and a happy future." Emily yelled after hearing what James Lu said.

Li Wei was frustrated but he understood Jenny Young's mind and already figured that she wouldn't agree to the terms of his contract easily. It usually wouldn't be a big deal for him but Li Wei wanted this mall to be a huge hit and Jenny Young was the best in her field.

Now that Fan MeiLi was full and happy after enjoying such an amazing meal, she listened to the group's conversation while sipping on tea. She remembers the 'Desert Star' from the gala and the true beauty of the designed. It would be a great profit for the Hansoo group if they gained the right to sell the collection, so she was interested in why Jenny Young refused to join hands with Li Wei.

"Having the company of JY Jewelry join hands on this project would be grand but we can't force Miss Young, besides we need to have a backup plan to fill in the empty spot." Adam Xing said in a serious voice completely different from when Fan MeiLi first met him.

James was quiet for a moment and finally spoke up, "I could talk to my father and have my family's company put one of their sport's shop in that spot. Maybe, Emily could come up with a sport-wear collection for after the opening.

"I could have that done and then we won't have to worry about delaying the opening of the mall," Emily said with a smile.

Li Wei who was quietly listening talked about the current they have with the SX mall and their solution didn't make him any happier. Li Wei was a guy who aimed for perfection and always completed his goals, that being said his goal was to create the best and top mall in China. He knew Jenny Young would be difficult but he believed that her talent could best shine with his help.

Fan MeiLi who was quietly listening to the conversation was struck with a hard feeling and it hurt so much she wanted to scream. Keeping her cries inside she took a deep breath and held her hands trying to push the feeling down and keep calm until she could excuse herself. She already knew why this weird feeling hit her so hard, it was because she figured out a solution that could solve this problem that the group was facing.

Fan MeiLi had no problem helping them but she couldn't understand why the universe wanted for her to speak out now in such a situation. Buring the feeling wasn't going as well as Fan MeiLi hoped and the pain was so strong that she felt herself getting warmed. She unconsciously bumped into Li Wei making him look over at her with a shock expression.
