Chapter 334 - At The Same Time

"Stupid bitch! I told her to hurry up but look at the time now!" A woman cursed as she zoomed across the streets.

Glancing at the reflection in the mirror, the young woman smirked when she caught a glimpse of her appearance.

Her previous anger and annoyance faded away when she noticed the pretty face in the mirror.

Soft and shiny chocolate brown hair with blonde highlights peeking through at certain areas brought out her big brown eyes.

The makeup was a no-makeup look and was applied to perfection.

'Can't deny that they did a great job.' She curved her lips in satisfaction of a job well done.

The lady was quick to turn her attention towards the oncoming traffic as she did not desire to get into trouble by rear-ending someone and delay her plans any further.

Talia Zheng, the woman driving her limited edition foreign branded car was once again in a pleasant mood as she made her way towards the place where her heart laid.

Today was a big day for her as she was about to meet the man to whom she had lost her heart a long time ago.

The liaison position for the new collaboration between the Ming Enterprises and Zheng Group was now hers after a lot of begging that she had done before her father.

Though Henri Zheng was reluctant to give her what she desired, a chance to get closer to Reuben Ming, he had to concede in the end as his daughter made some valid arguments to support her case.

She was now on her way to the office building where she should have been about 45 minutes ago.

"I'm sure that Mr. Wang handled the situation and is waiting for my arrival." Talia assumed and nodded her head.

Being late was not her fault, after all, the wait at the salon took longer than she had expected and after which it took even longer for them to help prepare her for the meeting with her loved one.

She was about to meet Reuben Ming after so long so how could she not look her best and make him fall for her charm and beauty.

This was why she had taken an impromptu trip to the beauty salon to ensure that she looked good enough to be eaten alive.

'Brother Ming will not be able to take his eyes off of my body!' She announced and was sure that this was exactly what would happen soon enough.

As she giggled at the thoughts running through her brain, she noticed that she had arrived at the high-rise building which belonged to Ming Enterprise.

The building which was big and tall held its own grandeur and allure which had always impressed her.

'I am going to meet Brother Reuben in his office for the first time on official purpose.' She squealed in her heart as this was a big moment for her.

The number of times that she had visited him at the office could be counted on her fingers and each visit was either made with Mrs. Ming or for an errand given by Mrs. Ming.

'Now I will not have to use Aunt Renee's name to enter his office room.' She smiled as this thought popped up in her mind.

She would not have to try and inch closer to him by utilizing someone else but could now do so with her own name and efforts.

Talia could not stop the excitement and glee in her heart as she brought her car to a halt before the main entrance of the Ming Enterprise.

As she got down from the car, the security guard bowed as he knew exactly who she was.

This lady would accompany their Madam Ming and therefore, he did not find anything weird with her being at this place.

Talia tossed her car keys to the security guard, mistaking him for a valet as she strode into the building.

The man stared at the back of the woman who was walking away without any care for the vehicle whose keys she had left in his hands.

Shaking his head, he remembered that she was someone their Madam liked and decided to park her car in the basement for her.

Talia was least bothered about the mistake she had made as she tossed her hair out of her face and held the handbag as she began walking towards the front desk.

This was exactly when our Lina had entered the building with her assistant and frowned when she saw this woman walking ahead of her.

Lina turned towards her assistant and they shared the same look of confusion on their faces.

She had not had the chance to inform Benji about the tea party incident which was the only reason why he had not yet made a move against the woman who tried to harm his boss.

'Why is she here?' Lina wondered and an idea popped up in her mind which made her smirk.

"Oh my! If it isn't Miss Zheng!" Lina called out once she and Benji had approached her enough to be within earshot distance from her.

Talia was just about to mention her reason for arriving at the Ming Enterprise building to the lady at the front desk when she heard her name being mentioned.

The curious woman turned around and the pleasant smile which she had displayed to the employee working at the front desk faltered when she saw who it was.

"You!? Why are you here!?" Talia let out a loud screech which attracted the attention of the people who were passing them by.

Lina's one hand remained wrapped around her assistant's big muscular arm and the other went to cover her ear.

'Why does she have to create a scene!?' She wondered and shot her an annoyed glare.

Talia realized that she had just garnered the attention of Reuben's employees which made her pause before she regained her calm and poised composure.

"Has Miss Yang come over here to push someone else and injure them?" She mentioned while letting out a giggle.

Benji frowned when he heard her words as he was unaware of the incident that had taken place between Lina and Jeanette at the restaurant.

'Oh, so she seems quite knowledgeable about this matter.' Lina chuckled as though she was not affected by those words.

She knew what the truth was and had no reason to feel anxious or ashamed for defending herself in that situation.

Talia's attempt to threaten Lina burned to ashes when she did not discover the fear in her eyes, instead, she could sense a trace of mockery hidden in those hazel eyes.

The two women were now locked in a silent staring contest as they tried to scrutinize the opposite person down to the most minute detail.

"How may I help you?" A soft and mellow voice made their heads turn in its direction.

The lady who had her duty at the front desk shot them her business smile as she waited for them to answer.

Talia and Lina smiled at the lady and surprisingly answered at the same time.

"I'm here to meet Reuben Ming."

"I have a meeting with Brother Reuben."

The two young ladies then turned to look at the other woman who had repeated the same words as herself.
