Chapter 16 - Taming The Aggressive Girl

'The blood curse disabling is in progress' suddenly a red light shot from the system and entered the girls chest .

'Blood curse is disabled , the girl is safe now'

Shadow smiled upon hearing the system's voice and went to carry the girl on his back .

After 8 hours, it was morning and Shadow has just arrived in front of Laston's city gates.

"50 bronze coins for each person"

The guards in front of the entrance looked at Shadow for a moment before telling him the entrance fee. He was glad that this time he didn't face any troubles like last time.

' I did a great job by hiding our faces , after all I don't want to attract troubles when i have a dead weight with me' he praised himself for covering both his the girl's faces by the hoodies l he got from the slave traders , after all he knew that no man could resist his lust if they looked at this girl's face , specially spoiled brats from rich families .

After Shadow entered the city he noticed the bustling streets with different stores and hawkers that sold everything.

He didn't linger for long before searching for an inn.

After a while he found an old building with the name' Sun inn' he entered it and headed to the reception place.

The old lady woke up from her nap when she heard Shadow's voice.

"Yes , a single room costs 100 bronze coins for 3 days ' she said with a yawn on her face.

Shadow handed her 100 bronze coin and took a rusty key from her. He went upstairs and chose one of the rooms .The room looked very shabby from the inside as it was decorated with only an old bed and a bathroom.

'Still better than the cave' Shadow chuckled inwardly.

He placed the girl on the bed and lay down next to her . Shadow didn't care about the girl's privacy as he was tired from traveling for 2 days without rest.

It's been 10 hours and Shadow was still sleeping .however the same couldn't be said to the silver haired girl who was now awake snd fully cautious .

'Where the hell am i ? And who is this lowly peasant? ' she asked inwardly.

She was surprised to wake up and find her self in the bed with a man she never met.

' Oh wait , he didn't do that to me , did he?' She gasped upon thinking of something.

She gritted her teeth and took Shadow's weapon that was next to his head .

Just when she was about to slash Shadow's throat, a voice resounded in the room.

" I advise you to not do anything stupid"Shadow said calmly as he turned to face her .

The girl was startled for a moment but when she thought of what he might've done to her body she launched the sword to Shadow's face .

He simply smiled while slightly tilting his head to the right and dodging her attack. He grabbed her hand and and brought his face closer to hers .

" You think i touched your body? Humph even if you beg me I wouldn't lower myself to even look at you" he said with a disgusted expression.

In reality it was the opposite of what he just said as he was hardly struggling to keep his lust from taking over him .

The girl was taken aback by his statement but still refused to accept what's going on.

" Get the fuck away from me you filthy bastard " she shouted angrily after seeing him getting closer to her face.

" what a foul mouth , i guess it's my responsibility to teach you some manners" he said with a worried expression as if he concerned about her . He held her down to the bed and crawled right above her.

" let me go or I'll " before she could finish her sentence he interrupted her.

"You will what?" He asked with an amused expression.

The girl got scared and didn't know what to do so she started spouting nonsense.

" my father is..is a very powerful cultivator if you touch me you will regret it for the rest of your life" she said with a panicked voice.

"Oh is that so , hmmm that's must be the reason why he left you with that curse to die a miserable death" Shadow said with a contemplative expression .

The girl stopped struggling and paused when she heard Shadow's words .

After a few moments ,she asked

"Who are you ? And how do you know about the curse ? Where exactly am i "

" hoho so now you're acting like an obedient girl , well it's kinda cute seeing your 180 transformation so I won't complain " he teased her with a smirk on his face .

"Fuck you ugly ass bitch , who is obedient ? you piece of shit . Just lemme go and see how this obedient girl rip your heart out " she stormed at him with insults and threats .

" no no no this is not good , if you keep going like that , you will ruin my reputation. I'll have to discipline you myself " Shadow said as he acted like he was taking off his clothes while he held her .

The girl came to realization when reality hit her . She knew if he wanted to do anything to her , she won't be able to stop him . She hurriedly panicked and started licking Shadow's boots .

" no please stop, i have some anger issues i know i should be punished but please forgive me this time it won't happen i know you have a big kind heart inside that filth.. i mean inside that healthy body " she said

" hmm lemme think , so you're saying that you'll be good a girl from now on ?" He asked acting like was still thinking about whether he should punish her or not .
