Shadow's jaws dropped after hearing the system's statement, he didn't know whether this was good or bad luck but nevertheless he knew that he was nothing before the system changed his entire life.

Mia was looking at Shadow when he suddenly turned and looked at her , he wanted to take out the technique and give it to Mia when the system's voice resounded in his head again.

' once the host decides to give the technique to anyone else , the technique will turn into a spark of light and enter the receiver's mind

And will be able to comprehend the technique immediately just like the host, but the host should know that when the spark of light enters their brain , it'll merge with the receiver's soul so no matter what intentions the receiver has towards the host , he/she won't be able to harm the host in any way as the system can't let the host's well being be questioned'

' This is great , then no one besides the person i give the technique to can learn it and no one will be able to betray me , system I'm beginning to fall in love with you ' he said

" Mia , i have something to tell you" He said to Mia after exiting the system.

Mia was all ears and eyes focused on him , still trying to understand this human in front of her .

"It's true that you're healed and could start cultivating but you still need a good cultivation technique to show your full potential and i have the perfect technique for you" he said as he took out a scroll from his storage space which Mia thought it was normal as she guessed Shadow used the storage ring .

" Before i give you this technique, i should tell you some little insignificant thing about it. You will have to cultivate by absorbing the blood of the people you kill " he waited for her to digest all the information he said .

" So , do you have a problem with killing people?"he asked

" You really think that i give a damn about anyone after what the so called 'People' did to me? Believe me I wouldn't even bat an eye when doing that " she explained sarcastically

After her family's death and her time in the slavery prison she didn't care about anyone at all.

He handed the scroll to her and once she touched it , the scroll flicked and turned to a spark of light and entered her head .

"Arrrgh" she groaned for a second then she opened her eyes in disbelief.

"H-how is this possible? I feel like I've been using the bloody demon technique for centuries, it's like it's craved deep in my brain ." She wondered.

"Don't think much about it as you're now more like my ally so get used to seeing these kinda of things " he said with a smile .

"Now all we need is to kill some people" he said with a big grin on his face which Mia returned it to him with a bigger sinister grin one .

They were like a couple of devils that people created to come and back fire at them.

Late at night ,Two black masked people entered a huge building .

They were walking side by side leisurely as if they owned the building.

After they passed the building's entrance, 3 corpses could be seen behind them.

The corpses belonged to the guards that Shadow knocked down and Mia slaughtered . They were inside the slums of Laston city , and this building in particular governed a human trafficking gang.

" Shadow , i feel power surging inside my body after I absorbed their blood " Mia said excitedly while indicating her hand to the direction of the corpses.

" Once we finish dealing with this gang , we'll head back to the inn so you can cultivate the blood you absorbed" Shadow said to her

"Hm" she nodded at him .

They both reached in front of a hallway that had many rooms in it.

" follow me" Shadow said to her after he opened one of the doors.

". Pleaseeee stop , it hurts stop " a girl that was a little bit older than Shadow and Mia was screaming in pain due to the fatty that was raping her. She begged him to stop but alas her screams were futile .

" I know you feel the pleasure bitch , don't act like you don't want it " the fatty said while he kept pounding her and wiping his snot.

Both Shadow and Mia struggled not to puke from this scene .

" i don't think you need my help here" Shadow said

" I've got this"She nodded and went behind the fatty who was in another world right now .

" Ahh so goo-arrrrgh" fatty's orgasim was cut short by Mia's sword which slashed fatty's throat

" Shadow, i took a liking to this sword I'll keep it for the time being "

She said to Shadow before red flakes flowed out of the dead fatty and entered Mia's body .

" this time i feel more energy accumulating after absorbing this filthy bastard's blood"

She said .

"Come on let's go ,we've just started " he told her before leaving the other girl dumbfounded by their conversation.

There wasn't strong cultivators here as the strongest one was only at the second level of the spirit realm , Shadow dealt with him with ease before he left his last breath for Mia to take .

After a while , they returned to the inn and headed to their room .

Mia was cultivating for the whole night and when morning came she finally opened her eyes .

" the fuck ? First stage of spirit realm ? I know you killed more than 40 people yesterday but this still unbelievable " Shadow exclaimed with wide open eyes.

" jealous? Don't worry I won't make you my slave Yet"she said with a smirk

Shadow gulped a mouthful of saliva upon hearing her ' i can't imagine what would happen if i didn't have the system with me , I wonder what her reaction would be when she realize that I'm the one who slaved her in the first place hehe 'he said inwardly with a bittersweet smile

"Jealous? You really think that you can surpass me ?, let being in the same realm as me , even if you broke to the next realm i have full faith in my abilities to defeat you so dream on"

" Yeah yeah braggart " She said , not even talking his words in her thought .

" So what do we do now ? "She asked

" We're going to kick some brats asses "

Shadow said with a delighted expression

" I like the sound of that" she grinned
