Rory paused her typing.

With a slow motion she glanced up from behind her computer to see multiple people staring at her intently. Some even had their cameras out.

Rory's eyes glided over them as she checked their angle of view before she looked down again. As she thought, unless they got extremely close to her they couldn't see what she was doing on her computer.

Therefore, they were really just admiring her looks?

Rory smiled mischievously. That was absolutely fine with her.

Looks were just another form of manipulation in the grand scheme of things. After all, humans were visual creatures and can't help themself from judging by what they see the majority of the time.

Just as if she was taking a photo shoot in her last life, Rory changed the way she sat very slightly so that the side of her face gracefully clashed with the small amount of sunlight that reached her corner of the patio.

The sunlight reflecting off of her ċhėstnut brown hair gave her a nearly ethereal aura to those around her. The noble look alone caused the crowd to have a tactic agreement not to interrupt the peaceful image.

Some of the observers couldn't help but sigh regardless if they were a man or a woman!

Therefore, that morning in front of an attentive audience, Rory nonchalantly posed for pictures while surfing the dark web.

Not even the most bold hackers could face this type of shamelessness.

Time passed quickly as Rory spent her morning on the patio. By the time she decided to get up the atrium had long stopped serving breakfast and was getting ready for lunch.

Closing her ŀȧptop, Rory reached down to place it safely inside of her school shoulder bag.

"Rory?" A crisp female voice ruined the quiet area around her.

The crowd parted slightly as a mediocre looking girl with large blue eyes and brunette hair walked through. Behind her followed a gorgeous blonde girl who demanded attention with every step.

Like glass the peaceful area came crashing down from the use on one word.

"Rory? Why does that name seem familiar?"

"The Hynes waste is also named Rory. That's probably why. Oof I will ask my dad to forward money to him to change his name. He doesn't deserve the same name as my male god."

"Wait isn't that Lily Hynes with the brown hair? It couldn't be..."

"Impossible are you an idiot? That gay creep looks nothing like that."

Gay creep? And isn't Lily the one her mom said set up a face note page for the previous Rory to kill herself? Suddenly Rory didn't feel like leaving.

Pulling her bag up and placing it on the table in front of her; Rory looked over to the cause of the commotion.

The girl from the family meeting stood in front, her large blue eyes were filled with worry as she gazed at Rory.

Rory couldn't help but admit that the girl portrayed a worried cousin rather well, however the blonde girl had a clear look of 'we are going to make you wish you were dead.'

With such a look, what was the point of faking at all?

Rory's red lips pulled back into a laugh and her eyes danced humorously. It seemed she had run into some trouble making clowns.

"Cousin? Wow your face looks so pure today I could hardly recognize you. Tell me, are you using a new make up brand?"

The use of the word cousin finally cleared up the confusion in the crowd and identified Rory as Rory Hynes. However when did the quiet Rory's tongue become so sharp??!

When the crowd heard Rory's response some of the more clever students couldn't help from releasing a small laugh.

The ones who were higher than the Hynes showed it slightly, but the ones not as fortunate tried to stifle it.

Regardless of those who laughed, the majority of the people looking at Rory had the same expression in the crowd; disgust.

Lily's face turned as dark as ink. What did she even say to that?

"No... Rory sometimes I really can't understand what you are talking about."

"Oh it was just a causal question, but I'll try to use simpler language from now on. Sorry."

In only two sentences, Lily found herself choked up. Her eyes were burning in anger as she watched Rory smile helplessly at her.

She only planned to expose Rory in front of the crowd after she saw his pictures on the school's Instachat tags.

After all, even if she didn't remember well how he looked like without make up, she could never forget those infuriating eyes from the family meeting.

Thankfully at that time her friend decided to save Lily from her hole.

"Rory back the fuċk off Lily will you? She was just concerned about you after your wrists were slit. Ok?"

Rory stared at the girl in confusion for a moment. In fact that moment took so long that people thought she had finally became insecure after having a suicide exposed.

They were clearly reading too far into it.

"I'm sorry but who are you?"
