Chapter 37 - You Dare Send? I Dare Seduce!

Rory still had a light smile on her face as she turned around the box.

An edge of coldness appeared in the smile.

A small 600 microns hole was bȧrėly apparent on the brown skin of the chocolate. The perfect circle and large depth, made it distinct from any other holes on the chocolate. However, If she wasn't looking for it, she might have missed it.

Well it seemed she shouldn't be surprised. However, to use such advanced tactics. These kids really turned vicious early.

The girl still had her head lowered as she waited for Rory's response. Her teeth grinded. What the hell was taking him so long?

Shouldn't he be jumping in happiness right now? Even if he was gay, she highly doubted anyone else has ever told him they liked him!

She scoffed silently. Maybe the idiot thought that it was only expected after getting his face redone. She really couldn't wait until he made a fool of himself. What arrogance will he keep once he is kicked out of the school for having cocaine is his system?

Cocaine was common among rich kids, however it didn't change the fact that if they were caught it would be detrimental to them.

Anticipation built in the girl's heart, yet the boy still didn't answer. Unable to take it anymore she looked up with angry eyes. She was going to kill this bas-

Her mind blanked out.

The boy was looking sadly at the chocolate box. His large grey eyes were filled with deep untold sadness and darkness. One look pulled the girl into the abyss of Rory's eyes.

"Are you ok?" The girl asked carefully seeing the emotional state Rory was under.

Rory sighed and looked back up at the girl. Her smile was still soft, but it carried a small bit of melancholy.

When she caught sight of the girl's concern, her smile tilted up more than a sad smile should. It was only for as split second before she returned to the persona. The girl didn't even notice.

"Thank you.", Rory gasped out emotionally. She unsteadily used the sleeve of her school uniform jacket to wipe the corner of her eye.

Wasn't this kid supposed to be incomparably arrogant? He looked like even the wind could knock him over right now!

The girl was so stunned, she didn't realize that Rory didn't actually respond to her confession. In a dazed manner she nodded her head and forced herself to turn around and walk away.

Her feet seemed to be incomparably heavy as she thought about Rory eating the chocolate. Why did she feel terrible right now?

Just right when she was about to leave the garden, Rory called her back. "Wait a moment." Following the voice was the quick recession of footsteps.

'Did the idiot notice something?' Logically it was impossible for Rory to know something was wrong with the chocolate, but the girl's guilt caused worry to plague her heart.

Her heart started to beat quicker as the boy lifted his arm and reached toward her face. They were so close! Was he about to try to kiss her?

Should she reject?

The girl's face turned as red as a tomato as Rory hand came closer to her face. However, instead of leaning in Rory withdrew her hand, in it was a flower petal.

Rory looked deeply at the petal before letting it go in the wind. "Got it."

The smile Rory revealed nearly blinded the girl.

Her resolve crashed.

She absolutely couldn't hurt the angel!

The girls grabbed the chocolate out of Rory's hand before bowing repeatedly. "I've made a mistake! This is the wrong chocolate!"

She stumbled over her feet as she yelled out, "I will get you another one!"

Once she left Rory's signature grin showed and she let out a light laugh. She was messing around and wanted to try something new, however... that actually worked? She just copied the actions of the cheesy dramas she used to watch when she was younger.

She brushed her hair back calmly. Laughter still apparent in her eyes.

She never had the opportunity to seduce anyone in her past life as she never bothered to interact with many people!

That could of been a major headache for her. Considering the girl's financial power, she honestly didn't want to waste the time scheming against it.

Also, love was irrational. Fighting over a boy that she didn't even have the slightest thought about would be ridiculous for her.

She couldn't even remember his name.

For the short moment Rory thought over the fact that she was a lover not a fighter as she returned to her seat. All of her opponents in her past life would of definitely thrown up blood at her line of thought.

Whose a lover not a fighter? Surely not the vicious woman who stepped on competing companies just to get a kick out of it!

Rory crossed her legs and looked over at the bushes. That person was still stalking her? She had only caught a glimpse of them yesterday on campus. However, two days in a row was taking it too far.

'Now what am I going to do about you?'

Behind the bushes a person was one their knees with a camera. They had caught the entire interaction with the girl.

When Rory sat down they snapped some more pictures before putting down the camera and writing in a black note book.

If anyone saw the notebook they would definitely call the mental hospital. It was filled with questionable scribbles about Rory and all of her movements on campus.

All pictures taken by others or personally were in the notebook with notes underneath them. On the page a red line linked the images.

The person pulled another image out of their camera and pinned it to the notebook. However, when they looked at it again they felt a bit of fear.

Why did it seem like Rory was looking directly at the camera?

The person heard a rustle and looked back up to see that the bench was now empty.
