Chapter 326 - [Bonus Chapter] Sorrow (Part-1)

The next morning, Country X

Lu Lan opened her eyes groggily. The rain was pelting down outside the window and thunderclaps were heard.

However, the room was warm. Dim light was on, enough for her to look around. She looked at her surrounding to see where she was.

It was not her room.

And trying to remember, where she had been,

She remembered that she went to Lu Corporation. She went to Lu Yaohua's office after meeting with Elder Lu, where Shu Han-You and Lu Xuelon arrived with some men...

Following her mind's recall of everything. As she remembered, her face turned pale.

A 'beep' sound can be heard from a nearby machine. She turned to face it and ġrȯȧnėd in agony at the piercing pain in her ċhėst.

"Xiao Lan, you have awoken." At the same moment, Madam Si entered the room.

Lu Lan opened her mouth but no words came out as she felt pain in her throat which had become dry.

"What happened? Are you in pain?" Madam asked worriedly as she walked towards her.

"W-wa-ter." Lu Lan uttered a word after a lot of difficulties.

"Yes...Yes." Madam Si immediately pressed the bell to call the nurse.

The nurse brought the water and helped Lu Lan to drink it with the help of a straw.

"Mrs. Si, bullets have hit just above your ċhėst. It is miracle that we are able to save you, but you must ensure that you get enough rest. Don't worry, you will be fine." The doctor smiled encouragingly at her and turned to give a few instructions to the nurse.

Madam Si was stood beside Lu Lan, waiting for the doctor to complete his examination, and reported back to her on Lu Lan's situation but…

"Doctor…" Lu Lan called out in a hoarse voice.

"Yes, Mrs. Si." The doctor shifted his gaze to her.

"How is my child?" Lu Lan asked and kept her left hand to put on her stomach. She did not know why but she felt empty inside her.

For a second, the doctor was stunned. He seemed to have trouble. When he looked at Madam Si, he noticed she looked as trouble as he was.

But as a doctor, he could not lie, no matter how much bad he felt.

"Mrs. Si...Your child…" The doctor took a few extra minutes to find the right words to say but his words would hurt her no matter what.

However, Lu Lan understood that she had lost her child.

"What happened to my child?" She still wanted to hear. Sobs escaped from her lips which she tried to stifle

"Xiao Lan…" Madam Si held her left hand as they heard.

"I am sorry, Mrs. Si. We couldn't say your child. I am really sorry." The doctor said apologetically and left to give her some privacy.

Her eyes welled up with tears. Madam Si hugged her silently while making sure to not hurt her.

The muffling cry sound echoed in the room for a while.

Madam Si wanted to say a few words to ease her grief over the loss of her child, but she knew that no words would suffice.

Back to Bo Xiao's Villa.

Michael bent down to look at the photo frame that had fallen by him.

Michael turned it to look. The frame's glass had cracked into millions of pieces but he could still see the faces of the people. "Bloody hell! What is this?" He cursed.

"What?" Mo Jinnan approached him to look at the photo frame.

Michael handed it over to Mo Jinnan. He saw the people and had the same reaction. "What the hell is going on?"

The photos in the photo frame belonged to three different people. One was the man, and two women stood on either side of him. Women's faces were similar.

The man was Bo Xiao and one of the women was Liu Juan but another one was also Liu Juan.

What was the meaning of it?

Mo Jinnan continued to stare at the Liu Juan's faces. They looked exactly similar except that one of the faces was smiling and another one had an indifferent visage.

Was it the same person or different?

Mo Jinnan could not finger out.

Mo Jiang never mentioned about Liu Juan's sister. Well, he never mentioned much about Liu Juan.

"Did you know Liu Juan has a sister, twin one?" Mo Jinnan asked Michael.

"I never heard of it," Michael replied.

Well, it was a huge revelation, to say the least. Completely unexpected by them.

Now they were confused. They had no idea whether the woman in the photo frame was a single person or two separate people.

But why would the same person take a photo having different expressions?

Furthermore, whether the person they had met was Liu Juan or not.

They had come here to find Liu Juan, but now there was another Liu Juan in front of them. Furthermore, they had no idea who the real Liu Juan was or who the person they had met was.

Many questions were popped up in their minds with no answers.

Time was passing like sand passed through a hand and he still hadn't found Liu Juan yet but one more Liu Juan appeared.

Who knew who was the person married to Mo Jiang?

Mo Jinnan was running out of time. Only a few days had left before Si Li would kill Song Tianxin for real. After all, he had attacked on Lu Lan so why would Si Li leave Song Tianxin?

But he could not let Si Li killed Song Tianxin even if it meant to become Si Li's enemy.

"Let's go. There is nothing else to be discovered." Mo Jinnan said after a while.

"Okay...but how are we going to track down Liu Juan and this double Liu Juan?" Michael asked instantly. 

"We will see her later. Now we have an important task ahead of us." Mo Jinnan asked.

"What?" 

"We are going to attack Si Li's men." Mo Jinnan said solemnly.
