123 Chapter 123: I Love Him So Much

His hand trembled, with the knife only an inch away from his neck. He was too concerned about Nathalia to even take a single look at the cuts. "Where is she?" he asked again, impatiently.

It had been a few hours since Nathalia disappeared, and she was possibly suffering from much pain at the moment. The mere thought of it drove him mad. He tried not to think, not to imagine. It was all too much for him. Every second was torture.

With tears in her eyes, for the first time, Anna yelled, "Spencer, is she really that important to you? More important to your life? What about me, then? I love you so much. Aren't you grateful or moved at all?

They grew up together since they were little. Both families were happy to see them together and thought they were a perfect match. But now he had fallen in love with someone else and ignored her, ignored the love she had for him. Why? She could not comprehend.

Spencer wasn't in the mood to argue with her at all. All he wanted was to find Nathalia.

"Your so-called love is just like stabbing a knife to my heart. I can't bear it."

She loved him, but it didn't mean that he had to love her back. When in love, one did not need a reason. There was no 'why.'

Love had no condition. Money, talent, appearance, nothing, nothing mattered when in love.

He had treated her as a younger sister, let her stay with his mother at his house, and couldn't bear to hurt her, but now, what had she done to him? She had crossed the line.

"My love is like stabbing your heart with a knife?! What do you mean? Spencer. Oh, it hurts so much. How could you have said that?" Anna felt like something cracked in her heart. Tears streamed down her cheeks.

Instead of pity, Spencer felt annoyed by her tears. He glared at her again, "I'm asking you the last time. Where is she?" He remembered how Nathalia would never shed a tear in front of others, however difficult the situation she found herself in, however painful it was. Her toughness made him want to protect her more, to love her more.

Anna bit her lower lip tightly till it bled, and still, she refused to tell.

Again, Spencer glared at Anna while he sliced another cut on his neck. Another crack in Anna's heart, she gave in. "No! I will tell you. I will tell you." She screamed. "She's on the plane to Venice..." She couldn't bear to see him hurt anymore. She loved him too much.

As soon as Spencer got what he wanted, he threw the knife away and ran out of the door. Anna quickly hurried after him, "Wait, Spencer. Please, you need to bandage the cuts first. You are bleeding."

Spencer suddenly turned around with an icy look. He said sternly, "Don't you ever do it again!"

Nathalia slowly woke up to the pain at the back of her neck. She still felt dizzy. It was dark outside. Then she suddenly remembered what happened before she fainted and she sat up straight away.

A strange voice spoke to her, "Miss Nathalia Carter, you are awake." It was a man in his fifties, dressed smart and sounding smart.

"Where am I?" Nathalia took a deep breath before she spoke and tried to sound as calm as possible. Don't panic. Stay calm. I'm on my own now, and I have to save myself.

She looked around. It's a small room with simple decoration, and it was impossible to guess where it was. The man observed Nathalia. Her face is calm. Her eyes were clear, and there was a hint of fear.

He was surprised. It's rare that a girl stays so calm in a new place. Impressive.

"Welcome to Venice. Miss Anna Jones has got a present for you." He said with a mysterious smile.

What does she want? Nathalia wondered and became more cautious. She lifted her eyebrows, tidied her hair with her hands, and said calmly, "Can I reject it?" As long as I live, there's hope. If I die, then I lose everything, and I won't be able to get revenge.

Seeing how calm she was, the man showed her respect. He bowed slightly, but said, "You don't have a choice." She's a talented one, but unfortunately, she's the enemy of Anna Jones.

Nathalia sneered, thinking Ha. Beggars can't be choosers.

She didn't fight or cry but simply followed. One step at a time. She reminded herself. Soon, she was taken to the hall. The door opened to the sight of a few good-looking young men. They all turned to greet Nathalia with flirtatious smiles.

"My pretty darling. I'm Peter. I'm a master in bed, and I guarantee that you will be pleased..."

"Beautiful sweetheart, I'm Carl. I will make you the happiest girl in the world..."

What the hell is this? With her eyes wide open, Nathalia wondered what was happening.

"Bang" just then, someone kicked the door open. Everyone turned around to see an even better-looking man by the door. He stood there like a ray of sunlight, glowing, catching everyone's attention.

Joy burst out in Nathalia's heart. She ran to him, all smiles. "Spencer, you made it!" He embraced her tightly as if he could melt her into him. I almost lost you.

Nathalia felt his body tremble, and she let him squeeze her. She surrendered.

The man was shocked to see Spencer. He hesitated for a while, then he muttered, "Mr. Spencer Davidson, it's er..." How the hell did he get here so soon? We haven't even started anything yet!
