207 Chapter 207: It’s Look Like He Is Drunk

"Sure. If you say so!" Spencer's face lit up and with a bright smile, "But, is that a 'yes' then? You will marry me?"

It brought a shy blush to Nathalia's face. She said bashfully, "Seeing that you are genuine and sincere, I will, I will put the ring on you then."

She plucked her courage, never feeling so nervous before, and carefully put the ring on his ring finger. No matter how long I'm going to live, I want to live every day to its fullest, loving everyone I love, especially him, doing everything we love to do together.

The crowd, though shocked, was very touched by the scene. Even the Berry sisters had stopped yelling and watched in amazement.

Spencer's eyes were sparkling with joy. He was all smiles, genuinely believing that he was the happiest man in the world.

Though Steve heaved a silent sigh, he smiled at them and said, "Congratulations! Spencer and Nathalia, you two will make a happy couple."

Spencer was relieved to hear Steve's approval and wishes. "Thanks, Steve.

Emotionally, Kelly cried and ran out of the shop. Amy glared at Nathalia hatefully and went after her sister. As soon as they were gone, the tension in the air disappeared, and the crowd clapped for the happy couple.

Spencer had reserved a table for two at the Vino Beachside Restaurant, planning on taking Nathalia for some Italian cuisine. The restaurant was warmly lit up with beautiful décor. Acoustic music flowed in the restaurant.

A waiter greeted them warmly and ushered them to a table by the window with the view of the bay.

Nathalia had heard a lot about the Beachside Restaurant but never had the chance to try it out. It was said that one would usually have to make a reservation a few weeks in advance. Also, if anyone wanted to order their signature dish, The King Prawns, they would have to reserve at least two days in advance.

"We shall definitely try their Steamed Mussels and the signature dish, The King Prawns," Spencer said with a grin. How he wished he could tell the whole world that he was going to marry Nathalia! He just couldn't stop smiling since Nathalia put the ring on him. Seeing his happy grin, Nathalia smiled sweetly at him. It feels so good to be with him. I feel happy every single moment with him around me.

Just then, she spotted a familiar figure coming into the restaurant. "Are you stalking us?" she teased.

Spencered followed Nathalia's eyes and turned around to see Steve and Wendy holding hands, walking in their direction. They stopped at the table next to them. "Why? Are we not allowed to come to this restaurant?" Steve retorted as he sat down.

Wendy sat herself down gracefully. "What a coincidence!" She said with a bit of excitement.

Spencer looked at Steve thoughtfully, then said, "Why not come and sit with us? My treat."

Steve accepted the invitation without hesitation, and without even taking a look at the menu, he ordered all the courses without a pause. Wendy asked Steve to order for her while she took out her little make-up bag and checked on herself meticulously in the mirror.

Nathalia watched them speechlessly.

"I love King Prawns!"

"Isn't this delicious?!"

"What's that you've got, Spencer?"

"Nice wine!"

Steve was talking a lot while others only gave brief answers when necessary. Nathalia ate her food quietly and thought, I can't see how Steve and Spencer became good friends.

Spencer seemed to have read Nathalia's mind as he met her eyes and shrugged his shoulders helplessly.

Suddenly, Steve handed Nathalia a glass of wine, a full glass, raised his glass, and said quite loudly, "Cheers! Congratulations to Spencer and Nathalia!" He seemed to be getting drunk and spilled a bit of wine as he gulped.

Wendy chorused and drank. Spencer said, "Thank you," and had a sip. But Nathalia's glass was still sitting there, full.

Steve noticed and questioned, displeased, "Hey, Nathalia, why not have a drink? We shall celebrate."

"I...I can't..." Nathalia tried to explain.

"Nathalia can't drink, but we thank you." Spencer was about to take Nathalia's drink and have a sip, but Steve shook his head, excitedly, "No. No. No. Spencer, you can't take Nathalia's drink. Come on, Nathalia, have a sip. Just a sip." He insisted.

It looks like he is drunk. Really? He can't really handle alcohol either, can he? Nathalia rolled her eyes and thought.

Spencer knitted his brows, patted Steve, and said, "Steve, calm down. You've had a bit too much." There was a hint of warning in his tone.

Wendy sat up straight subconsciously, sensing that something wasn't right, but she couldn't tell what it was. I'm probably just overthinking.

"Hahaha, are you saying I'm drunk? Spencer, I'm drunk because I'm happy. I'm so happy. Hahaha." Steve exclaimed before he passed out, "Bang," head on the table.

"Hey, Steve. Steve." Wendy patted Steve's shoulder, trying to wake him up, but he was gone.

Really? Steve. Nathalia watched him, speechless.

"Why do people drink when they can't handle alcohol? Nonsensical. I don't want to see you like this." Nathalia commented and turned to Spencer.

"I want to puke. Puke." Suddenly Steve woke up, covering his mouth with both hands. Spencer looked at Nathalia thoughtfully, then quickly grabbed Steve's arm and took him to the toilet.

Hmm. I don't understand the fun of drinking. Nathalia thought while enjoying her chocolate ice-cream.

Hey, it looks like Spencer is serious. How do you feel?" Wendy asked as soon as Spencer and Steve were out of sight.

Nathalia lost in her thoughts, then realized Wendy had been there. "Huh?"

Being used to being the limelight everywhere she went, Wendy was very frustrated today as she had been ignored more than once. Looking at the young and pretty girl seated next to her, she wasn't sure how she felt. "You know, I just don't understand. I mean, I'm better-looking than you; I'm fitter than you, and I'm a movie star. Why does he prefer you to me?" she asked plainly.

Nathalia seemed to be in a cheeky mood today. She shrugged her shoulders and said, "Maybe that's why. You are too good, too perfect for him. He feels like he doesn't deserve someone so perfect like you, so he comprised and chose me instead."

"Are you showing me, pity? I don't need that. Loads of men like me, and they are all millionaires. So many of them pleaded with me to marry them..." Wendy defended.
