304 Chapter 304: Who Are You To Accuse My Wife?

Slap! Slap! All of a sudden, Emma slapped herself hard on her cheeks. And her face turned red and bruised. Then, she took Nathalia's cup of tea and poured it on herself. She screamed, "Ahhh. No..."

It all happened so suddenly and fast. Nathalia was bewildered. She stared at Emma in disbelief. Has she gone metal?

Emma screamed so loud that everyone heard, and a crowd soon gathered. There were customers at the café, the waiters and waitresses. Everyone stared with eyes wild open.

What's going on here? Ah, it's Ms. Fashion and Mrs. Nathalia Davidson. Are they in a fight again?! Didn't Ms. Fashion go back to Italy? The news about Mrs. Nathalia Davidson suing her was all over TV just not long ago.

In tears, Emma covered her face with her hands, looking pitiful. "Nathalia, I don't mind how you treat me. I don't complain. I don't blame you. But, with Spencer, please, you can't do that to him. Poor kid. He had a very tough childhood. He needs love more than anyone..." she said pleadingly.

Just then, Spencer showed up and emerged from the crowd. He went over to Nathalia quickly, looking worried. "Babe, are you alright?" he looked Nathalia up and down and asked anxiously, completely ignoring Emma and anyone else.

Emma lifted her head up, showing her bruised cheeks and miserable face with tea dripping down her hair, and looked at Spencer with tears in her eyes. Pitifully and gently, she said, "Spencer, please don't blame Nathalia. She didn't do anything wrong, really. It's ok."

Now that she said so, the crowd had guessed or were made to believe that Nathalia had slapped and poured tea at her. Wow, that's a bit too much, what Mrs. Nathalia Davidson did. Some thought.

It's understandable, considering what she did to Mr. Spencer Davidson. Others thought.

A middle-aged man with glasses remarked, "That's not ok at all! This girl is a barbarian! She's insulted you!" He pointed at Nathalia and glared at her angrily. Everyone turned to look at him. So did Nathalia, rather cautiously.

The man looked plain, but his attire wasn't. From top to bottom, he was dressed expensively. And somehow, Nathalia found him familiar looking. I've never seen him before, but he looks so familiar.

Enraged, Spencer snapped, "Who are you to accuse my wife?"

The man stammered a bit, feeling nervous and emotional, "You two, are, you two, are rude. You don't know how to respect people." He glared at Spencer and Nathalia with disdain.

"Do you actually know what happened?" Someone in the crowd questioned.

Emma continued pitifully, "Spencer, really, it's ok. I'm fine. As long as you are happy, I don't care how she treats me. Spencer, I'm genuinely sorry for the mistake I made. Will you, will you please forgive me?"

Even Spencer was taken aback. He didn't recall Emma being apologetic. This is the first time she's pleaded.

Nathalia narrowed her eyes and watched Emma carefully. Impressive. She's acting well.

Someone in the crowd shouted, "Ms. Fashion, what happened to you? Did you get insulted? Who did it?"It was a woman in her early thirties, looking shocked.

Nathalia looked at the woman for a while. The woman noticed and felt frightened by Nathalia's stare. She shut her mouth.

Emma threw a quick look at Spencer to see his reaction, then she shook her head frantically and said, "No. No. No one insulted me. It was my own fault, really...It has nothing to do with Nathalia..."

The more she denied, the crowd was more convinced that it was Nathalia that did it.

"Hahaha." Nathalia burst out laughing. "Are you serious? You are so naïve—what a childish trick you are playing. Come on. You can do better than this."

Now the crowd was rather confused. I trust Mrs. Nathalia Davidson, but who did it? She wouldn't have slapped herself, would she? It could only be one of them.

Emma looked at Spencer tearfully. "Spencer, please, believe me, I'm not acting. I'm not playing any tricks."

Spencer turned to Nathalia, stroking her hair gently. He made no reply, yet his reaction was a clear statement itself.

Emma looked disappointed and heaved a sign pathetically.

The man with glasses interfered again, yelling at Nathalia, "You should apologize to this lady here!"

"Did Mrs. Nathalia Davidson really insult her?" Someone doubted. The crowd didn't know who to trust now. It's possible that she did. She's a rather impulsive person.

Emma bit her lips slightly and defended Nathalia pretentiously, "No. No. She didn't slap me. Please don't take photos." She then grabbed her bag and said to Spencer, sadly, "Spencer, trust me. You are who I care about the most. I would love to see you again soon. Bye."

As she turned to leave, the man interrupted, "Wait, lady, you deserve justice. I don't know what happened between you and that girl before, but she should at least apologize for what she did to you. She slapped you, and she poured tea at you! I saw it."He said righteously.

"Who are you?" Spencer asked casually, with a frown between his brows.

Lifting his chest up very proudly, the man answered, "I'm the CEO of the Shining Corporation. My name is Daniel Brown. I had just finished a meeting here when I saw this barbarian girl insult this lady. Anyone who has a sense of justice would stand up for this lady."

Most people felt rather touched by his little emotional speech, yet Spencer remained calm. "Do you have proof?" He asked casually.

"Huh?" Daniel Brown seemed to be taken aback, then he patted his chest and said confidently, "I'm the witness."

Nathalia had been watching the man, wondering still if she had actually seen him somewhere before.
