Chapter 737 - 62: You Are Indeed My Girl

After Angelo said goodbye to the man, she walked to Drake's company.

The car she had parked in front of the door wasn't there anymore. She guessed that Drake might have known about her kidnapping.

When she opened the door and walked in, a man came to receive her.

"May I help you, Miss?"

The man glanced over Angelo with contempt in his eyes, but he sounded polite.

"I come for Mr. Drake. I have something important to discuss with him,"

The words made the man despise her even more.

"Do you have an appointment?" he asked with a quizzical smile. Even nobody wanted to see Drake.

Angelo didn't mind his rudeness. She sat down on one chair for guests and then shook her head.

"No. But please tell him that I'm Angelo's sister, he may want to see me," Angelo said with confidence.

She knew Drake had been looking for her, his savior. Even if his brother was gone, he might want to meet her. She came up with this plan to cover her lies earlier; otherwise, all her plan for revenge will not happen.

"I have never heard that Mr. Angelo has a sister. Please don't make trouble here, Miss," the man mocked. He thought Angelo came for trouble and wanted to drive her away.

Angelo had no choice but to leave. Faintly, she heard the sarcastic words of the man.

A wry smile came over her face. She thought things too simple. After all, few people knew that Angelo had a sister.

Now, she could enter the Thorne' house only when she found a member of the Thorne. Thinking of that, she felt frustrated.

At this moment, she heard Patrick complaining. She looked in the direction of the voice and saw Patrick with a beautiful girl in his arms.

"Thank goodness!"

With that, she ran to them, who was getting into the car. She made up her mind, closed her eyes, and blocked in front of the car.

"Hey, watch your way, bitch!"

Screamed the beautiful girl in the car, looking with contempt at Angelo's clothes.

However, Patrick was shocked, and it took a while for him to realize what he was looking at. Hurriedly, he opened the door and got off. The girl followed him down.

"I'm sorry to disturb you, Mr. Patrick. I heard that Angelo is my brother, so I want to find him."

Angelo despised Patrick as a playboy, but now she had to ask him for help, so she tried to give a gentle smile.

Patrick had never seen Angelo like this. He looked at her with admiration. The beauty beside him curled her lips in discontent. She was showing a disdainful look and jealousy towards her.

"She's just a country bumpkin. She wants to connect to the Thorne?"

Patrick straightened his face when he heard the girl. He raised his hand, slapped her on the face, and shouted, "Shut up. Get out of here!"

The girl covered her face in disbelief. She pointed at Angelo and angrily said, "You slap me for a girl like this? You are good, Patrick! Unbelievable!"

The girl stared at Angelo and then turned to leave.

Angelo was shocked, she didn't understand why the girl hated her.

When the girl walked far away, Patrick hurried to Angelo. "Listen to me, I have nothing to do with that girl," he explained, didn't want to leave a bad impression on Angelo.

Then he looked carefully at Angelo again. She didn't wear any make-up and only wore an ordinary dress. But she just looked pure and unworldly.

"You are indeed my girl!" Patrick couldn't help sighing.

Angelo was surprised to hear that and got goosebumps. She reached out to wave in front of Patrick.

Looking at her beautiful fair hand, Patrick grew more infatuated.

Sure enough, his girl was so perfect that even her hands were so beautiful, Patrick thought.

Seeing Patrick like this, Angelo sighed inside.

"Mr. Thorne, I come for my brother," she warned her gently.

Hearing that, Patrick then came to himself. He looked at Angelo with a look of embarrassment. He wanted to say something but stopped.

Angelo knew why Patrick acted like this. He must be wondering how to tell her about Angelo kidnapping.

She pretended to be worried, hurried up, and grabbed Patrick by the sleeve.

"Is there something that happened to Angelo? Tell me."

Looking at the delicate hands clutching his clothes and her anxious face, Patrick felt that he was the hero of the chosen one.

He patted her hands. Angelo withdrew them at once.

Patrick didn't mind. He looked at Angelo with deep concern and comforted her, "Your brother is missing. But don't worry, I'll find him."

Angelo felt goosebumps all over again at Patrick's words, but she nodded, pretending to be grateful.

"Thank you, Patrick!"

Looking at Angelo, Patrick just wanted to protect her. Then he thought of something and asked, "May I know your name, Miss?"

"Angeline Watts," Angelo responded without hesitation, thinking of the name she'd chosen for herself.

Patrick thought about the name and complimented, "Good name! I'll take you home now. Drake must want to see his savior."

Actually, he would compliment her no matter what name she said. Even her name was perfect in his heart.

"Yeah," Angelo agreed.

She stopped Patrick to go to the Thorne' house. Since Patrick said he would take her there, she happily agreed.

"But your clothes may not be appropriate."

He thought Angelo was beautiful whatever she was in. But to meet Drake, she shouldn't dress like this.

Angelo knew what Patrick meant. But she didn't have money to buy new clothes for herself right now. She was just an ordinary girl now. So, she showed an embarrassed look.

Seeing that, the protective feeling rose in Patrick's heart. He thought about the money on his card and promised, "Don't worry. I'll help you."

"You are so kind, Mr. Thorne," Angelo thanked him with a smile, which pleased Patrick.

Then he drove Angelo to a women's clothing store nearby.

Angelo chose a dress. When Patrick saw her in the new dress, he was stunned.
