Chapter 278 - The Scum Is Reincarnated

Cheng Sheng had found Luo Shi's answer from Ming Ye after Ming Ye nursed Luo Shi back to full health when they were young. 

Luo Shi broke the impasse by killing himself is because he wanted to return his life to Ming Ye. By killing himself, not only did he finally pay his debt of life to Ming Ye, but he also exposed Ming Ye's deception. However, everything was so abrupt that everyone was caught off-guard and it resulted to loss. Fortunately, not everything was lost, since there were still people that they have saved. 

Then, will he find Ming Ye's answer? Why was he doing all of this? And, who is he, really? Where did he come from? 

Cheng Sheng knew Ming Ye's power, for he has seen it when he, Fei Yin, Chen Han and Wu Yuan have arrived in Youxiwang Sect. Thus, he knew Ming Ye could have conquered the world when he rose to power as an elder of the Youxiwang Sect. However, he remained as a sect elder and didn't make any movements after that. Cheng Sheng isn't stupid to think Ming Ye was just biding his time. With the recent movements of the demonic cultivators, since chapter 1, it was obvious Ming Ye is in full power for a long time. 

Then, why did he make his move only now? It's because he was stalling for time. Not for the demonic cultivators, but for himself. He wanted to live peacefully with Luo Shi, even just for a little longer. Thus, he acted late. 

Cheng Sheng continued to watch until Chen Jing and Wu Fan left before Luo Shi revealed Ming Ye's identity when it was only the two of them left, ignoring the demonic cultivators hiding in the corners of the Youxiwang Sect. "Elder Luo is very brave." He muttered as he sighed in admiration. He also noticed that the space suddenly shook. 

Luo Shi's emotions are fluctuating, despite the calmness he feigned as he talked with Ming Ye and the demonic cultivators revealed their presence. Then, he watched as Ming Ye made up an excuse before bringing Luo Shi into his room. 

Until here, Cheng Sheng thought that if he wouldn't find out Ming Ye's identity, he later will. He didn't expect that, under Luo Shi's presence, Ming Ye would easily disclose it to him. 

"I have only one question." Luo Shi said as he stopped and turned to Ming Ye. "Who are you?" he asked. 

Ming Ye's lips moved, before an answer came out of his mouth. "Wu Ran." He said. "The King of Wuran." He told him. 

Luo Shi slowly closed his eyes as he bitterly smiled. "You're really cruel." He said. 

Ming Ye didn't answer and just pulled him. "Luo Shi, I – " he said, his voice is shaking while his hand holding Luo Shi is trembling because of the emotions bubbling inside his chest. "Luo Shi…" he called as he held Luo Shi's cheek dearly.

"How?" Luo Shi asked in a low voice, which is weak. 

"I reincarnated in Ming Ye's body." Ming Ye answered. "I died, hundreds of years ago. I never expect I would be reincarnated…" he said with a look of disbelief in his face. "However, because of it, I got to meet you." He said as he stared at Luo Shi. 

However, Luo Shi just bitterly smiled. "This is an ill fate." He said as he received Ming Ye's kiss. 

Cheng Sheng stared at them in shock. He wasn't shocked because Ming Ye and Luo Shi, two middle-aged men that are actually more than a hundred years old – especially Ming Ye, are kissing in front of him. He was shocked because Ming Ye was actually reincarnated! 

Oh, my god! He exclaimed in his mind as his eyes widened in shock and he immediately ran out of the room because he knows what will happen next to Ming Ye and Luo Shi. Reincarnation… reincarnation! Ming Ye reincarnated!

Transmigration is crossing space. Rebirth is crossing time. Meanwhile, reincarnation is crossing both space and time! It is both transmigration and rebirth combined! 

Transmigration is crossing the space by replacing the soul in one body with another soul. Rebirth is also a replacement, but of time and not the soul, since the soul remained on its body and only the time changed.

However, reincarnation… it is both replacement of souls and time. Although it didn't cross the space, but it did with the time!

"Hah!" Cheng Sheng gasped after he pulled himself out of Luo Shi's memories. He doesn't want to see the scene of Luo Shi's death. "Elder Luo… you've known it all this time…" he said as he stared at Luo Shi's face. Then, he bitterly smiled as he leaned his body on the chair and closed his eyes to rest.

He never expected for Ming Ye to reincarnate. However, even he, Cheng Sheng, as well as Fei Yin, along with Yu Sheng and Jing Xian, and Zuo Zhe, transmigrated. What's wrong with reincarnating? Thus, he can't criticize Ming Ye, or he should call him 'Wu Ran'.

Now, he finally knew that Wu Ran reincarnated in Ming Ye. However, he still didn't know where is Wuran, Wu Ran's kingdom. Wu Ran didn't reveal it to Luo Shi.

He sighed before he opened his eyes. He was greeted with Fei Yin who was dripping wet. "Yin." He called and hugged Fei Yin.

Fei Yin helplessly smiled before he dried himself as well as the wet footprint on the floor and the window. "Ming Ye flung Chen Han to the lake. I saved him, and Wu Yuan followed us." He said. "Wu Yuan is more familiar with this place, thus I left Chen Han with him for them to hide. Are you alright?" he asked, his voice became gentler at the end. He caressed Cheng Sheng's cheek with his thumb. "You look tired. You've used your holy power?" he asked.

"En." Cheng Sheng nodded, not hiding even a bit of information with Fei Yin. "I looked into elder Luo's memories. Elder Ming was the reincarnation… no. He coincidentally reincarnated in elder Ming's body after elder Ming died when elder Luo unintentionally, and unknowingly, killed him when they were young." He explained.

"'reincarnation'?" Fei Yin frowned.

"Mn." Cheng Sheng nodded as he hugged Fei Yin.

Fei Yin stared at Cheng Sheng. "He hurt you." He said.

Cheng Sheng fell silent. "The wounds were gone after I used my holy power on elder Luo. It was deliberate on my part." He explained.

Fei Yin didn't answer and just hugged Cheng Sheng tighter. "Be careful, okay?" he said. "I'll be sad." He told him.

If it was before, Cheng Sheng would've laughed at these childish words. However, Fei Yin is now his lover. If Fei Yin was still his da shixiong, he would've laughed and teased Fei Yin. But, this time, Cheng Sheng knew that, even if the words are and sounds childish, but Fei Yin is serious. "I'll be more careful." He answered as he buried his face on Fei Yin's chest to seek comfort.

Fei Yin smiled and kissed the top of Cheng Sheng's head. "Sheng." He called. "I have something to tell you."

On Wu Yuan's side, he looked at Chen Han who was sulking in the corner. It was never his style to laugh even if what's before him is comical. This time, he also didn't laugh, since Chen Han is seriously mourning, as well as on the verge of despair because of what his shifu, Ming Ye, did.

Wu Yuan is a silent person, and he remained silent since he knew it was what Chen Han needed the most at this time. Even if Sun Yi, this talkative guy, was here, Sun Yi would surprisingly shut up, since he knew Chen Han is nursing his grievances towards his shifu. Sun Yi is that sensible, more sensible than Wu Yuan.

"Would you – " he heard Chen Han said. " – want for Ah Sheng to resurrect your shifu?" he asked him.

Wu Yuan was stunned as he looked at Chen Han's back. "No." he answered.

Chen Han heard his answer, but also as if didn't hear it. Since Chen Han didn't speak again after that. Wu Yuan, who liked silence, would rather want noise right now. He wanted for Chen Han, this lively da shixiong of his, to speak right now than be unusually silent.

Every time he, Sun Yi and Chen Han would travel, these two are very noisy when they chatter. They looked like a couple more than he and Sun Yi. Wu Yuan honestly admits, he is jealous of Chen Han who can openly show his emotions and freely speak his thoughts.
