"Wait. . . Devin, why are you here anyways? How did you die?" I asked him suddenly after I stopped crying.

"Well. . . I was in a gas station, and it was getting robbed. . ." He started to say.

"Wait. . . That actually happened. . . I'm so sorry. . . I saw everything. . ." I commented while trying to stop myself from crying again.

"How did you know?" Devin asked me.

"First let's go back to the fire for now. Arialle and I are about to make some food." I told him.

"Good, because I'm freaking starving. . ." He commented.

"Haha. . . Alright, follow me. You were about to step on a trap that I set up earlier." I told him.

"Wait. . . I was? Where?" He asked while looking down around him.

"Right here, you were very close to walking right into it." I told him while pointing at a spot just a few feet directly in front of him.

"Oh snap. . ." He said, then gulped right afterwards.

"Haha. . ." I just laughed while walking around the trap.

"Arialle, I would like you to meet my best friend. My brother. Devin." I told her.

She stood up and walked up to Devin. She was actually taller than him by almost 7 inches.

"Hello Devin, I'm Arialle Knighthaven. I've heard a little bit about you!" She told him with her hand extended out.

"Hi Arialle, and he has told you about me?" He asked her.

"Only a little bit." Arialle commented.

"Haha. . . I can believe that. He tends to not talk too much sadly." Devin laughed while criticizing me.

"Hey! I don't try to really not talk to anyone. . . I just don't open up with people as well. . ." I said with a sullen look on my face.

"Haha. . ." Devin and Arialle both started laughing.

"Fine. . . No food for you two." I declared to them with a grumpy look on my face. I decided to take only food out for Orion, Onyx, and I.

". . ." The two looked at each other, then they ran up to me, and started bowing to me.

"We are sorry. . ." Arialle said while pouting.

I took out a piece for her after she said she was sorry.

"I'm sorry too bud. . ." Devin apologized with a smile on his face.

". . . You are still the same. . ." I shook my head while commenting towards him.

"Haha. . . You're still the same too." Devin laughed.

I took out a couple more pieces of meat for all of us, and started seasoning them. I actually took the Roche meat this time to try it. I put them onto sticks and put them around the fire. "Alright, we've got about an hour right now before we can eat them. What did you do after you died?" I then decided to ask him.

"Well, honestly it was quite weird. I ended up waking up in a dark room of sorts. It wasn't exactly a room, but it felt like a room. Once I opened my eyes, I thought I was blinded, but I wasn't because as soon as that thought entered my brain. I was instantly blinded by a very bright light. Once I got done rubbing my eyes, I was in a completely white room with two T.V.s, a desk, two chairs, and a gentleman in the room." Devin started explaining.

"Sounds just about like what I came into, except there weren't any T.V.s, and there was a woman instead of a man." I told him.

{Is it ok if I tell him about you?}

{Alright.}

"Continue." I told him.

"Oh really? Alright, where was I. . . Oh yeah. After looking around the room, the guy said something about me being there too early. I guess I wasn't supposed to die for another 12 years according to him. I then asked him if that was the place you went to, and he told me it was, except you got a few extra things since you were the very first to come here. He mentioned that he wasn't the original occupant in that room. There was a female that came before him. I guess she came down with you. Is that you Arialle?" Devin asked.

"Huh? Uh no. . . I only knew about Arthrall getting sent here about a day or so later." Arialle told him.

"No she isn't the female that came with me. Her name is Zoe, and she is currently in my brain I guess you could say." I told him.

"Huh? What do you mean she's inside of your brain?" He then asked with a weird look on his face.

"I mean, she integrated inside of me when I went through the black hole in the door. She is like an A.I system, but the difference is she is real. The System was able to integrate her inside of me since that is what I wanted. I didn't want to come here by myself. . . I mean don't get me wrong. It is cool and all. It's just that I'm bad at making friends. Hell, ask Arialle herself. I literally ran right into her." I commented.

"Did he really?" Devin looked at Arialle then asked her.

"Yeah. . . He really did. He was running from a slime. . . A very weak slime to be exact. It was just born not too long after he came into this world. Hell, he didn't even have a weapon on him. He also lied to me, he said he had forgotten his memory, and he didn't know why he was there. Although, I do understand why he lied now. He had to keep Zoe a secret. Only four people know about it. You, Philip, Faylin, and me. So, I would suggest keeping quiet about it." She told him.

"Wow. . . Jason actually met people he trusts? Holy crap. . . Haha. . . Just kidding bud. So, let me take a guess. You ended up running into her, went somewhere, and something happened where you had to tell them about Zoe?" He then asked me.

". . . Fucker. . ." I glared at him while pouting. "And you are only partially right. I did run into her, then she took me to a town called Alabaster, and from there we went to a tavern. I went to bed that night, and woke up the next day. After I woke up, I opened the egg I got from Zoe. Which in turn Orion came out of. After that, we went to the Adventurer's Guild to sign me up with them, and to figure out my class. I meant Faylin and Philip that day. You will meet them soon. Anyways, I went and found out that my class is called a Battle Ranger. Which is a hunter class, but they can shoot spells out of the bow. Once I figured that out, I went and grabbed a quest from Faylin. After I did that for a day, I went and grabbed another quest from Philip this time, and I had to kill something called King of Slimes. It was honestly easier than I thought it was going to be. After killing it, we went back to town to collect the rewards. That is when I told Philip about me being reincarnated. He then told Faylin about me being reincarnated. They still don't know about Zoe herself. So don't mention her to them. Got it?" I asked him after explaining how everything was going on with me.

"Yeah I've got it bud." Devin said while nodding at me.

"Good, now go ahead and continue your story." I told him.

"Alright, now after I found out about you. I asked if I could send a message to my Dad, just like you did with your Mom and I. He told me he couldn't until I asked him, "Since you're a system, can't you send a message to his phone?". He then disappeared then came back, and told me he could. I told him to tell my Dad that I'm alright, and to go to Tracie to find out what is going on. Since you told your Mom and I. After that, he asked me what I wanted to be, so I told him a Dwarf Paladin Tank, with dark brown hair, and a beard. I then ran into the portal and went through major pain getting transformed into a Dwarf. Once I was done, I saw a bright light, and then I was falling through the air towards the ground. After I face planted. . . I went walking in this direction for about ten minutes, and found you just like he said." He told us.

"Hmm. . . So just like me, I also saw a bright light before falling about ten feet before hitting the ground. You're a Dwarf? Let me inspect you." I told him

"What's wrong?" Devin asked me.

"Well first off, you need to stop calling me Jason. Call me Arthrall. I don't want anyone to know my real name. Second, you're no longer Devin, but Dj. I'll start calling you by that name too. Third, you're not a Dwarf." I told him.

"Crap! I forgot about that. Sorry, bud. What do you mean I'm not a Dwarf?" He asked me suddenly.

"You're not a Dwarf. Your actual race is called a Half-Dwarf. Human/Dwarf mix." I told him.

{Why didn't he get made into a full Dwarf?}

[Let me find out. . .]

{Alright.}

"I'm having Zoe find out why you're not a full Dwarf." I commented to him before he could say anything.

"Alright. . ." Dj commented with a sad look on his face.

[He can't be a full Dwarf sadly. The System did try, but if he would have continued he would have died before he could make it here.]

{Oh fuċk. . .}

[Yep.]

"So, the reason why you're not a full Dwarf, is because you would have died. I guess The System did try to make you a full Dwarf race, but if it would have continued you would have died from the transformation." I told him.

"Oh! That would have suċkėd. Well, I guess I'm a Half-Dwarf then. . . Oh well, still technically a Dwarf. Haha. . ." He said happily.

"Indeed haha. . . So that explains the major beard you've got going on." I commented to him while laughing.

"Yeah, I wanted a beard since I had yet to grow one back on our Planet." He mentioned it to me.

"Haha. . . Yeah I still don't have one. Sadly I probably won't grow one for a while." I said with a downcasted look on my face.

"Eh, who knows." He commented.

"This is still weird. . ." Arialle commented.

"Yeah, I know it is, but I'm glad you are here. If it wasn't for you, I probably would have been a complete loner." I told her.

"Yes, you probably would have been." She commented with a smirk on her face.

"Haha. . . I'm glad you found someone to handle you, bud." Dj said while laughing.

"Indeed, she has been great. Well, at least you got some decent looking clothes on you. You could have gotten clothes a lot taller than what you are right now." I mentioned to him.

"True. . . True. . ." Devin nodded his head yes.

"Well, let's go ahead and grab our food. It is about to be done. We have some seasonings if you want any extra, or you could just eat the meat." I told him.

"Alright, I'll try it with what you did to it." He told me.

"Alright, cool." I commented.

After saying that, I went to the campfire and started removing the meat from the sticks. The meat I had for Orion and Onyx, I ended up just throwing it to them. They caught theirs in the mouth. I just laughed at that, then started handing the meat over to Arialle and Dj. I then took mine and started devouring it quite quickly.

"Holy crap man. Slow down!" Dj exclaimed.

"Don't worry about him, he always eats that fast. You should see him at the tavern. They give so much food, and yet he eats his within ten minutes usually. Haha. . ." Arialle commented while laughing.
