"Hey, pass me the salt please! I've got to put salt onto this steak!" I commented.

"Here you go bud!" Dj told me.

"Arialle, how are the side dishes?" I asked her.

"Almost done actually. Another five minutes, and they will be all done." She answered.

"Good! The steaks will be done in about seven minutes." I told them.

"Awesome! I'll go and set the table up then." Dj commented.

While Dj set up the table, I finished the steaks, and Arialle finished the sides.

I put them steaks on the table, while Arialle sat down with the sides already on the table. I gave a couple of steaks to Orion, Onyx, and I gave a little steak to Tyson. Arialle's dog started devouring his steak.

"You should give Tyson more steaks by the way. It will help him grow more, as long as you don't season them." I told Arialle.

"Alright, I'll tell the neighbors next door when I take Tyson over for our next quest. Since you're here, I don't have to worry about him not growing right. . . Haha. . ." Arialle mentioned while laughing.

"Man, you're still a great cook. . . Why didn't you ever cook this much back home?" Dj then asked.

"Eh, didn't really have a reason to cook all the time. I mean I loved cooking, to the point to where I wanted to be a chef when I grew up, but it never panned out due to me you know, dying." I commented.

"True. . ." Dj said.

I started eating my food, and like usual it didn't take me long to finish my meal. I tried going a little bit slower this time, but I still beat everyone except Orion, Onyx, and Tyson. I got up and put my plate into the sink, then went and sat back down and drank some water while waiting on them.

"So, we can't do too much tonight. Do you want to go look at the Quest Board now, or in the morning?" I asked Dj.

"Hmm, what do you guys think would be best? Cause I honestly don't know when I should do it." He asked us.

"Well, I say we should get you some gear, because I know it can be quite hard to kill some stuff without any." Arialle commented.

"True. . . I guess we should head over to the blacksmith shop first, then we can go grab you an easy quest to get you started." I told him.

"Alright, well I'm ready to go whenever you two are." Dj told us while eating his last bit of sides.

"Alright, let me finish up my steak then I'll be ready." Arialle commented.

"Ok, in that case I'll put the dishes into the sink while I'm waiting." I mentioned.

I started putting the dirty dishes into the sink, like the pan and utensil I used in order to cook the steak, the containers Arialle used for the sides, and Dj's plate into the sink. By the time I got that far, Arialle had just finished hers, and put it into the sink too.

[Hmm. . .]

{What's wrong Zoe?}

[Oh nothing, just wondering what steaks taste like. . .]

{Oh. . . Hmm. . . I wonder if there is a way we could let you try one.}

[No idea. Let's figure that out later. . . Oh! Also, don't forget to check out the Store. You got some stuff in there you might be interested in.]

{Alright, I will do it tonight.}

[Ok.]

"Are we ready then? I've got all the dishes on the counter, and in the sink already." I asked them.

"Yep, I'm ready." Arialle commented.

"I'm ready too, but don't really have much money." Dj commented.

"I know bud, but you can pay us back later." I told him.

"Alright." He answered.

"Let's go then." Arialle commented.

We walked out of the house, and waited for Arialle to lock the door behind us. After she was done with that, we walked towards the crafting area of the town. It was starting to get a little bit darker out finally, but there was still daylight out.

"So, where is the Blacksmith's shop anyways?" I asked.

"Um. . . If I remember correctly, it should be near the Potion shop that we went to the first time we were over here." Arialle commented.

"Alright, let's head that way then." I answered.

So we started walking in the direction of the Potion shop. On our way there, we walked past quite a few different crafting shops. There was Map Maker, Skinning, Leatherworking, Engineering, and a few other shops. The last set of shops we ended up seeing was the Potion shop, and a place that had smoke coming out from behind the shop.

"That must be the Blacksmith's Shop. Let's head inside." I commented.

They just nodded their heads, and followed me inside. Once inside, we saw a lot of different types of metal. There were so many armors and weapons in the shop, that it looked like they were just thrown to the walls of the shop. I took a look at Arialle with my eyebrow raised, but she just shrugged. There wasn't anyone currently in the front of the building, but we could hear quite a bit of hammering from the back.

"Excuse me? Is there anyone that could help us?" I yelled.

The hammer continued like no one heard me, when I went to yell again, we heard someone yell back at us.

"Give me a minute please!" Someone yelled from the back.

At that point, I figured I would go look around, I decided to go near the arrow heads that were laying on the counter. Dj went towards the armor pieces, while Arialle went to go look for some daggers. While looking at the arrow heads, I noticed some of them seemed different. I decided to inspect some of them.

[Arrowhead of Piercing Might]

[Crafted by Brondeac. This arrowhead has an added bonus to its strength modifier, It also has an added bonus damage to it. Once put onto an arrow shaft, you will be able to see its stats.]

[Arrowhead of Poison Mist]

[Crafted by Brondeac. This arrowhead has an added bonus to its damage it can do. The Poison Mist will come out of the arrowhead once it impacts onto something. Once the mist comes out, it will do additional damage to the surrounding targets.]

"So. . . Fancy yourself an archer do ye?" a voice calls out.

I looked up, and saw a short man. He looked very buffed, and he had a long beard just like Baldemar had back in Iron Rock.

"You must be Brondeac." I commented.

"Aye, that I am. What do ye want? " He stated flatly while crossing his arms..

Taken aback slightly from his rough demeanor I manage to get out, "Well uh. . . We were sent here by Baldemar, your brother. He claimed he needed your help with something."

"What the hell happened to him this time! Who am I going to kill?" He yelled with an incited fury, fists balled up; knuckles white.

The three of us looked at one another, slightly concerned at that point.

Just moments later, he let out a deep sigh, and took a moment to regain his composure.

"Sorry. . . I get quite worked up over my little brother. . ." He then apologized while pulling up a chair from behind the counter.

Brondeac then falls into the chair. As he does, the wooden frame creaks in protest. "Alright, now tell me this business with me little brother then."

"Uhh. . . It's ok. . . There were wolves that were attacking his city, but we took care of them. What he needs help with is his shop, because he is the only Blacksmith in the city now. Everyone left once the wolves started attacking, and the only people that stayed, were a few of the crafters and adventurers. Some regular civilians stayed to help out, but sadly a lot of people lost their lives. So he has been doing everything for free for a while now due to the wolves, and he asked us to relay to you everything that has happened." I explained to him.

"Wow. . . I don't know what to say right now. . . I feel really bad for him. . ." He commented.

"Yeah, it was pretty bad once we got there, but we ended up saving them all. We had another person with us, but he stayed in the city to help out even more. Unfortunately we would have stayed, but we had to come back over here and relay everything that happened." I told him.

"I understand, thank you for doing that. Also, thank you for saving my brother. You guys can have whatever you want from my shop. As long as it isn't too expensive, you guys can have a couple of things each." He told us.

"Alright. . . Thank you. Oh, before I forget. He wanted you to come by and help him, and he also wanted you to bring him some supplies. He is about out of everything, they haven't been able to go mining in a month due to the wolves and this Druid guy. Don't worry, we killed him too." I told him once I saw the worried look on his face.

"Alright, I'll head over there soon. Gotta get me some of my apprentices to look over the shop while I go and help him. Let me know when you guys are ready to pick your items. I've gotta head to the back and talk with my apprentices." He told me.

"Will do." I answered him.

He walked towards the back, while Arialle and Dj walked up to me.

"Wow, that scared me for a moment there. . ." Arialle commented.

"Same here. I can understand though, he is a true brother. He is very worried about his brother." Dj mentioned.

"Indeed. Anyways, we can have a couple of items from his shop. He told me it is thanks for saving his brother and his city. So once you figure out what you're wanting, let me know. I'll call him back out here." I told them.

"Alright." They both said.

After they went back to look at some items, I went back to the arrowheads. There was one more I wanted to take a look at. The third arrowhead had a lightning bolt going from the tip, till the back of the arrowhead. It looked pretty cool, so I decided to inspect it.

[Arrowhead of Lightning Charge]

[Crafted by Brondeac. This arrowhead has an added bonus to its strength and dexterity modifier, It also has an added bonus damage to it. This arrowhead will do lightning damage to its target before the arrow hits, and after it hits its target, it will paralyze them for five seconds.]

"Hmm. . ."

"Everything alright Arthrall?" Arialle said to me while walking up towards me.

"Yeah, everythings fine. Just wondering about this arrowhead. It does lightning damage, also it paralyzes the target for five seconds once it hits. I wonder if it will work well with my Multi-Barrage ability. If it does, then this will be very handy for us." I explained to her.

"Hmm. . . Why don't you ask Brondeac about it then." She commented.

"Hmm. . . Your right. Hey Brondeac, I have a question." I yelled towards the back.

"Sure thing, coming right out." He yelled back.

This time, four other guys came with him. Actually I stand corrected, three guys, and one girl. They came out right after Brondeac came out, the reason why I thought he had four guys with him, is cause I couldn't really see the last person too well. After she moved closer towards me, that is when I noticed she had long hair, and realized it was a girl, not a guy.

"What do you need to ask?" Brondeac came out and asked.

"Well, first off do you know the ability Multi-Barrage?" I asked him.

"Yes I do, it is an ability most hunters are able to get at lower levels. Why?" He then asked.

"Well, do you know if these special arrows can be used with that ability?" I then decided to ask him.

"Sure do, want me to demonstrate for ya?" He asked.

"Uh. . . Sure! You're a hunter too?" I then asked out of excitement.

"Sure am, follow me. By the way, are those your companions?" He asked me.

"Yes they are, Orion and Onyx. Orion is the Celestial Dragon, and Onyx is an Onyx Panther." I told him.

"Hmm. . . Interesting. I've heard about a few hunters who could use more than one companion, but sadly I'm not one of them. Haha. . ." He commented then laughed at the end.

"Same here, from the head guy at the Adventurer's Guild." I told him.

"Ahh Philip, tell him I said hi the next time you see him. Alright, what arrow would you like to see me use?" He then asked me.

"The [Arrowhead of Lightning Charge]." I told him.

"Alright, do you see those targets across the way there?" He then asked.

"Uh. . . Oh, yes I do." I answered.

"Alright, now this arrowhead is quite powerful by itself, but when added to Multi-Barrage, it becomes a must need item." He explained to me. "Now watch this, Multi-Barrage!"

The moment he said that, all I saw was a yellowish light come from his bow, then the yellowish light split into six different arrows and blasted the targets. The moment it touched the target, it sent an electrical charge throughout the entire target which lasted for five seconds each. It was honestly quite amazing.

"Now, this arrowhead normally costs around 20 Silver Coins per arrowhead, but I can give you ten of them for free." He told me while we were walking back towards the entrance to his shop.

"I'll take it! Now, I do have another question, are you able to make any pieces of gear for my companion animals?" I then asked him.

"Hmm. . . I mean I can, but I can only do it at half price. If that is ok, then yes I can." He told me.

"Awesome! Can you make an item that can attach to the claws of Onyx? I want to give him something he can use to either attack his targets savagely, or can grip onto something a lot easier. Also, for Orion I'm not exactly 100% certain of what he needs. He uses his wings a lot, but I don't know what can be used for his wings without making it harder for him to fly with." I told him.

"Hmm. . . Let me take a look at them, and figure out what I can make. Have your two friends figure out what they want yet?" He then asked me.

"I'm not sure, let me ask once we get back inside." I told him.

The moment we made it back, I went over to where Arialle was.

"Have you figured out what you want yet?" I asked her.

"Actually, yes I have. I need some throwing knives, or throwing stars. Do you know if he has any?" She asked me.

"Not sure, let's go ask him after talking to Dj." I told her.

"Sure, he is over near the armor still." She mentioned it to me.

"Alright." I commented.

We walked over to where Dj was, and he was currently looking at a ċhėst piece he found.

"You like that?" I asked him.

"Yeah I do actually, it boosts my strength and defense by quite a bit, and it also increases my constitution a little bit. The problem is, I'm not level five yet. So I can't wear it. . ." He said with a sad face.

"That is fine, get it. Is there anything else you're wanting to get?" I then asked him.

"Actually there is, there is a pair of boots, knee guards, and bracers I would love to have. The bracers actually level up, and same with the boots. They are both level zero, just like me." He told me.

"Alright, let's go let Brondeac know we are ready." I told them.

We walked up to where Brondeac was, and he was currently looking at Onyx's claws on his feet. Onyx looked at me, but I just shook my head to let him know it was alright. Orion was currently just watching the both of them.

"So, your verdict Brondeac?" I asked him.

"I have the parts to make a set of four for him, just it will take a little bit of time. Also, I want to take a look at Orion's wings, but he wouldn't let me near him. . . Haha." He commented.

"Alright, Orion, let him check your wings out please. He wants to see if he can make something to protect them." I told Orion.

Orion just nodded his head, then spread his wings out. The moment he did that, Brondeac was already looking at his bone shape, then the skin on the wings themselves.

"Hmm. . . Do you know how much bigger he will be getting?" He then asked me.

"From what I've learned, he will be getting quite big. He just hatched a little more then three weeks ago." I told him.

"Alright, so he still has a lot of growing to do. I also noticed that Onyx is quite young too, but I should be able to make something for both of them. Just once they get too big for the armor pieces, let me know immediately. Also take them off before they hurt themselves." He explained to me.

"Alright, I will do it! By the way, do you happen to have any throwing knives or stars by any chance?" I then asked him.

"Sure do, which ones do you prefer?" He then asked me.

"Not for me, for her." I then pointed at Arialle.

"Oh, alright. Little miss, what do you prefer having?" He then asked Arialle.

"Doesn't matter to me. I have to work on throwing them first before I actually use them in battle, but figured I would get some now beforehand." She commented.

"Hmm. . . Alright, I'll give you ten of each one. Once you figure out which you prefer, come back up here to me, and I'll get you a good set for you. Now, you young man. What would you like to have?" He then asked Dj.

"Well, there are a couple of items. There is a ċhėst piece, knee pads, boots, and bracers I would like to have." He told Brondeac.

"Alright, show me which ones." He then told Dj.

Dj walked over to where the armor was with Brondeac, then showed him the pieces he was wanting. After a little bit of talking, they walked back with all four pieces of gear.

"Alright, I've already told Dj this, but I'll explain it to you guys too since he is with you. The knee pads are an incomplete piece of gear. I wasn't the one who made them, but I can finish them with shin guards too. It will take me about a day to get all of your stuff completed, but you guys can go ahead and keep what I'm giving you. I'm giving the ċhėst piece and boots over to Dj, and the throwing knives and starts to Arialle. Arthrall, your stuff will have to wait to be given to you tomorrow. Alright?" He then asked.

"That is fine! We appreciate it. Now, how much do I owe you?" I asked him.

"Hmm. . . How about a total of 62 Silver Coins for the rest of the items." He told me.

"Deal!" I said, while taking out a pouch full of Silver Coins. I then counted out 62 of them, and handed them directly over to him.

"Alright, come back in the afternoon tomorrow to pick up the rest of your guys stuff. I'll have it all completed.

"Alright! Thank you again for the help!" I told him.

"Thanks!" Arialle then said.

"Thanks again!" Dj commented.

"No problem guys! See you tomorrow."

We waved our goodbyes, then walked out of the shop. We decided to go towards the Adventurer's Guild after we got done here.
