The moment I saw the slime, I just chuckled. I remembered when I first saw one when I ran into Arialle. At that point Ariallle also giggled a little bit.

"Let me guess, remember when I ran into you?" I asked.

"Indeed." She answered.

"Alright, I want you to go and fight the slimes until you get done with your quest. Also Blue, I want you to help him. You both are currently level 0 so it should be alright." I started telling them what to do, when Tyson started barking. I turned to look at him to see what he was doing.

"Bark baaarrrkkk babark!" Tyson just continually barked.

"Um. . . Tyson. . . Are you wanting to join them in killing the slimes?" I decided to ask.

"Bark!" He barked while nodding his head.

"Uh Arialle. . . I thought he was just a pet? How can he understand what I'm saying?" I asked her.

"I don't know. . . My parents are the ones that gave him to me. They thought he was just a pet too." She commented while looking down at Tyson.

"Zoe?" I decided to ask out loud.

[Hmm. . . That is indeed weird. Tyson is able to level up. It seems like he has been at his max size for that level for a long time already. It's just he is still level 0. . .]

"Wow. . . Um. . . Arialle, Tyson has been able to level up this entire time according to Zoe." I told her.

"I didn't know that at all! Tyson if you can keep yourself protected, then you can join both of them alright?" She said to Tyson.

"Bark babark!" He answered, then moved in front of Dj like he was trying to protect him.

"Haha. . . I think you have a protector now Dj!" I laughed while talking.

"Haha. . . I think I do now!" Dj also started laughing.

{Protect him you two. Just don't interfere.}

{{Got it!}} They both commented.

"Alright you three, remember we are back here just in case you guys need any help. If you guys get too tired, head on back towards us." I told them.

Dj nodded, Blue squawked, and Tyson barked. They went straight towards the first slime we saw.

"How do you think they will do?" I asked.

"They should be fine. I mean look at you! You only had Orion with you, and yet you guys killed all 15 by yourselves. While Dj has to kill 20 of them, and he has two companions with him." She commented.

"I guess you are right. We will wait and see!" I then said.

(A couple of hours later!)

"I wonder when he is going to stop. . . It is getting dark out. . ." Arialle said worryingly.

"Hmm, I'll go check on him. Why don't you cook some dinner for us. Here are the spices, and fish for Blue." I told her.

"Ok, I'll start on it immediately." She commented.

I walked a decent distance from where we set up camp for the night, and walked towards where Dj and the group were. When I finally saw them, they were currently fighting four slimes at the same time. So I decided to wait, and watch them from afar. The slimes were trying to attack Dj, but he had his shield up the entire time, and once a slime hit his shield, he would smash it with his mace. Tyson was just going around and biting them, while Blue was using his claws to attack them. I ended up waiting for about five minutes before they ended up finishing the fight. I saw Dj take a knee, so I knew he was pretty tired.

"Hey guys! How does farming go?" I yelled to them.

When I yelled, Dj automatically raised his shield, and turned my direction. Once he saw who it was, he collapsed right there. "I'm so freaking tired. . ." Was all he said.

When he collapsed, I saw Orion and Onyx to the right of me just watching them.

{They do alright?}

{{What he said.}} Onyx chimed in.

I just shook my head at what Onyx just said, but then started walking towards Dj. The moment Blue saw me, he flew over and landed on my shoulder. The moment he landed, he slumped towards my head, and stayed like that. I believe he fell asleep already. I walked over, and lowered my hand towards Dj. He looked over at me and growned.

"Dude, come on. . . Don't be so lazy. . ." I commented.

"Lazy. . . I can't believe you actually called me lazy just now. . ." He said while reaching up towards my hand.

Once our hands reached each other, I just yanked up straight up.

"Woah! Watch it man. . . I'm tired. . ." He whɨnėd.

"Haha. . . Alright follow me. Orion, pick Tyson up. I think he already fell asleep." I told them.

Orion came and picked Tyson up, he did it quite gently to where he didn't wake up. They followed me back towards the camp area, when I could smell the food. It smelled so delicious that my stomach started growling. Right after that though, I heard five other stomachs start to growl.

"Haha. . . I guess we are all pretty hungry. . ." I commented while chuckling.

Once we got to the campfire, we all sat down to start eating our food. Arialle handed us ours, and then handed me Blue's food. I took and fed Blue first, since he is hand fed right now. He did look a lot bigger though. I decided to wait until tomorrow to inspect him. After feeding him, he went to sleep on my shoulder again. I looked over towards Tyson, and saw Arialle feeding him slowly. He was so tired that he could bȧrėly stay awake long enough to eat anything. I just shook my head at that, it was quite funny, but decided to stay quiet for now. I then looked towards Dj, and he was currently devouring his food at about my normal speed. It was good seeing him eat something that quickly.

"So, did you learn anything while fighting the slimes?" I asked while eating my food.

"Well, they can hit pretty hard. Tyson likes to use bite a lot, not sure why, but that is all he did. Blue was pretty good out there. He kept aggroing them over towards me to where I could then in turn pull aggro off of him. He is honestly a great pet. Tyson is too, but sadly I don't know if he has any other ability. I didn't do too bad either. I used my shield a lot to protect myself and the others. Sadly though we did have one come up on us from behind and attack Tyson. Luckily you had Orion and Onyx watching us, so before the slime could really harm Tyson they killed it instantly. So thank you for having them watch us. It really helped." Dj explained to us everything that had happened.

"No problem bud, I knew something like this would happen. I'm just glad they could protect Tyson." I commented.

"Same here! Thank you guys for helping him!" Arialle said.

{{Tell her that she is welcome!}} Orion commented.

{{Yep, she's welcome!}} Onyx chimed in.

"They both said that you're welcome." I repeated.

"Aww. . . Anyways, I believe I'm going to lay Tyson down. So I'll be right back." She told us.

After that she picked Tyson up, and took him over to the tent. After she put him inside of it, she went directly towards us.

"Hey Arthrall, are you putting your traps out tonight?" She asked.

"Not tonight, figured the slimes won't be hurt by them. So I just figured we could watch for them tonight." I told her.

"That's fine." She commented.

"I take it I'm going to be watching for them too?" Dj then asked.

"Not tonight, you are too exhausted to last." I told him.

"Awesome, I'm ready to go to sleep now, but I need help taking off my ċhėst piece. One of you two minds helping me do that?" He then asked.

"I don't mind helping you." Arialle mentioned.

"Awesome!" Dj commented excitedly.

Dj went towards the tent with Arialle, where she proceeded to help him take his ċhėst piece off. After that, he went into the tent, and Arialle set the ċhėst piece back inside the tent. She walked back over towards me, then sat back down.

"So, you think Tyson leveled quite a bit?" I asked her.

"Probably. . . I decided to wait to inspect him until tomorrow." She told me.

"I did the same with Blue. He was already pretty tired, so figured it would be best to just let him sleep." I commented.

"You want the first or second watch tonight?" She then asked.

"You mind if I take the second watch tonight? I want to make breakfast tomorrow." I asked her.

"Sure! Go ahead and go to sleep! I'll wake you up in a few hours!" She told me.

"Thanks! Goodnight!" I told her while getting up.

"Goodnight Arthrall." She commented.

I walked over towards the tent where I saw Dj already passed out. I set Blue next to the sleeping bag that I was going to sleep in tonight. Took off my ċhėst piece/shoulderguards, then laid down.
