Chapter 76 - 76: Getting Our Clothes!

"So these are the quests you guys are wanting to do?" asked Faylin.

"Indeed they are. Also, is there any way we can share them?" I asked.

"Hmm. . . Normally no, but since you guys are special when it comes to that area. It can happen, but prewarn you. It will be quite hard for Dj since he isn't at the right level to do them." She told us.

"That's fine! We will protect him!" said Arialle.

"Alright, then you all will have nine quests to do. Although it will be simple quests. I will have Philip talk to you about the certain quests from us." Faylin then commented.

"Thank you!" I told her.

"Alright, hand me your rings! I'll get them all set up, then we will go to Philip's office to talk to him." She told us.

We handed over our rings, that she could input the quests into them. It took her about a half hour to get it completed. Once done, she took us straight back to Philip's office.

"Knock knock. . ."

"Come in!"

We all walked into Philip's office. He was currently writing something on his desk. Once he was done, he looked up at us, and was kind of confused.

"You guys alright?" He then asked us.

"Yeah, we are fine! Just we have a few quests that we need to get info about." Arialle commented.

"Oh? What quest are those then." He then asked while putting the paper he was working on, into his drawer.

"They got the quests pertaining to the Western Valley." answered Faylin.

"Oh alright! Well, the lions there actually reach your ċhėst, Arthrall. So you must be careful! They can tear into you very quickly, so make sure you guys watch out for their claws! They also attack in pairs, so make sure you are especially careful due to that alright! It can be quite bad if one of you gets hurt. Now, for the Valley King. It is actually a giant version of the Valley Lions. It was last recorded around level 15, but that was over two weeks ago. He is quite dangerous, so please be careful. I'm being quite serious about this! He has three abilities that can do quite a bit of damage to you. He has a very quick attack that can attack all of you at once, he also has an ability that tears the ground asunder. For his last damaging ability, it is an ability that does fire damage. He lights his claws on fire, then he usually uses this ability that allows him to attack all of you. So be careful. Now, he does have an ability that regenerates his health, but I don't know much about it." He explained to us.

"Hmm. . . Thank you for that information, but what about exploring the caves? Do you happen to have a map?" asked Arialle.

"Oh yes! Sorry! I had forgotten about that. . . Give me a moment to find the map." He commented while getting up from his chair. He went towards a cabinet behind him, and started searching inside of its drawers. "Aha! Found it!"

He turned back around, and started unfolding the piece of paper. It was actually a big map. It showed us where the caves were, but it didn't show how big the caves were themselves.

"Well, unfortunately, this is all we have been able to find about them, but you guys can take this map with you. We have the main map still here, so don't worry if you end up losing this one." He told us.

"Thank you! I do believe this is all we needed to know about these quests, so we are going to go and get ready to head out in a day or two." I told him.

"Alright, just please be careful!" He commented.

"We will! Thank you again!" Dj answered.

After that, we left and headed straight for Armoury Tailors. We only walked for a little bit before we ended up reaching there. Once inside, Charlotte came straight towards us.

"Welcome back! I was wondering when you guys would be back!" She exclaimed.

"Haha. . . Yeah we had a quest to do yesterday, and we just got back from it." Arialle told her.

"Oh wonderful! How did it go?" She then asked while taking us towards the back.

"It went really well, Dj and Blue leveled quite a bit. Do you remember Tyson?" Arialle asked.

"Oh very nice! Hmm. . . Isn't he the pet your parents got you?" She asked, wondering.

"Yes he is, or was. . . Coming to find out, he is a companion! Not just a pet!" Arialle exclaimed.

"He was?" Charlotte asked.

"Yep, so we took him out for a walk while Dj and Blue were fighting, and he wanted to join in. So I let him fight as long as Orion and Onyx protected him. He actually leveled up! It was amazing!" Arialle commented.

"That is great! I wonder where your parents got him from." Charlotte mentioned.

"No idea. . ." Arialle answered.

"Hmm. . . Anyways! I have your boys' clothes done! I really hope you like them!" Charlotte then said towards us while walking over to a giant pile of clothes.

"Awesome! How much do we owe you?" I asked.

"50 Silver Coins each." She answered.

"Alright, here are 100 Silver Coins!" I told her while grabbing my pouch of coins out of my ring. I counted out the 100 Silver Coins, and handed them directly to her.

"Thank you! Your pile is the one on the further right. While Dj, your pile is the one on the left." Charlotte then told us.

I went and put my clothes into my ring, while Dj walked over towards his. He just looked at the pile confused on what to do. Since he didn't have a storage ring like Arialle and I, he was just standing there.

"Want me to take them bud? I will get you a ring today." I asked him.

"Yes please! I really need to get a storage ring like you guys. . ." He answered.

"Sure thing, we can do that after we leave here." I told him. After saying that, I bent down and started putting his clothes into my ring too.

After we were done with that, we said our goodbyes and left. We started walking towards the Jewelcrafter's place. The one reason why we could tell what it was, was because of the giant jewel they had for the sign on the building. The sign also had Bartholomew's Jewelry written on it. We walked inside, and the inside was very clean. It had a lot of different cases along the walls that had different types of jewelry inside of them. There was a gentleman sitting behind the main jewelry case doing something at a desk. We walked up, but we waited patiently to see if he noticed us.

"Hello, I shall be with you shortly. Currently setting this jewel into this ring here. It is honestly quite interesting on how the jewel stays inside of the ring without falling out of it." The gentleman commented without turning his back.

So we waited patiently for a few moments before he turned around. Once he turned around, we got a good look at him. He was bald, with crows feet on the sides of his eyes. He also had a handlebar mustache. He didn't get up quite yet, but he was skinny. I could just tell by looking at him.

"My name is Bartholomew, and this is my shop. You're more than welcome to look around, just don't touch anything. These pieces are not cheap. So, what can I do for you guys?" He asked without getting up from his chair.

"We need a storage ring for my friend here." I told him.

"Alright, then follow me." He commented while standing up from his chair. Once he stood up, I could tell he was taller than me, but not by much. We followed him over to the left side of his shop, and he stood in front of a jewelry case.

"Here are the storage rings. There are, [Ring of Lesser Holding], [Ring of Holding], and [Ring of Greater Holding]. Which would you like to look at?" He then asked after explaining what type of rings there were.

"We need a [Ring of Greater Holding]. How much is it?" I asked him.

"That ring is 50 Silver Coins. Now I could get you a ring that has an even bigger space inside of it, but it will take about two weeks for it to get here. I have to order it from a city to the east of here." He told us.

"This size of ring will do for now." I told him. I was about to get my coin pouch out, but Arialle already had it out and started counting her coins.

"Here are the 50 Silver Coins!" Arialle then handed him the coins.

"Thank you, just give me a moment here to get the ring out." He told us while grabbing his keys out of his pocket. He then unlocked the jewelry case, and grabbed the ring. He then handed the ring over towards Dj. "Don't worry if it is bigger or smaller than your finger. It will automatically fit to any size."

"Alright, thank you!" Dj told him.

"Thank you Bartholomew, we will head on out. I do believe you have other customers." When I said that, some people had just walked into his shop.

"Yes, indeed I do. Have a good one." He commented, then walked over towards them.
