Trigger warning: Dead body and dismembered organs

Lady Melissa practically waddled back to a very stern looking Sophia.

"Did you buy french fries, Lady Melissa? Without me?"

Sophia mumbled the last part, though, unfortunately, or fortunately, Lady Melissa had heard the last part unbeknownst to Sophia.

"Of course I did! I was hungry after all."

Lady Melissa went closer to Sophia.

"Don't worry, and you can always eat my leftovers."

Lady Melissa playfully whispered to Sophia.

"Anyways, we should sit down or something; I want to enjoy the fries. I can't wait to have my first bite of them."

"Alright, Lady Melissa."

After a few more minutes of searching, they found an empty bench. Quickly, Lady Melissa ran to the empty bench sitting on it before anyone else claimed it.

"Hurry up and come here, Sophia! We don't want anyone to take the empty seat!"

Lady Melissa whispered- shouted at Sophia, not wanting anyone to sit beside her.

Though there was practically no one in sight, it was always better to be safe than sorry.

"Fine."

Sophia sneakily rolled her eyes, which of course, Lady Melissa didn't miss.

Lady Melissa mocked Sophia by rolling her eyes as well.

Sophia walked faster and faster to the empty bench before quickly plopping down and sitting beside Lady Melissa.

It was only then Lady Melissa started to eat the french fries.

She took one of the many french fries on the cup she held and put it in her mouth.

"MMM!"

Lady Melissa moaned in both surprise and satisfaction, and she hadn't expected the fries to taste this good.

Lady Melissa quickly ate the fries faster and faster before there were only a few of them left.

Out of the glimpse, she could see Sophia's mouth practically watering, eager to taste the french fries.

"Here."

Lady Melissa gave Sophia the remaining french fries in the cup.

"Take it, Sophia, I'd buy you more, but I didn't bring much hehe..."

Lady Melissa awkwardly laughed.

"No- I'm fine, Lady Melissa. Besides, we're in public! What if someone sees this?"

Sophia whispered shouted, anxious that someone had happened to see her.

"You know there's like no one here, right Sophia?"

After hearing those words, Sophia scanned her surroundings; Lady Melissa was right. There was practically no one there, and it was kind of eerie and scary, to be honest.

"Fine..."

Sophia let out a sigh before accepting the french fries.

Lady Melissa saw a cute little dog at the corner of her eye, eager to touch it. She quickly ran towards the dog, afraid that the dog would disappear if she didn't run.

The dog, however, noticed Lady Melissa running towards it, and the dog quickly went into one of the dark alleys running; Lady Melissa soon followed, ignoring Sophia's complaints and shouts in the distant background.

The dog turned right, and Lady Melissa followed; Lady Melissa, however, was confused after taking the 'right direction.

The dog was nowhere in sight, and Lady Melissa was still eager to pet the dog so she wouldn't give up so easily.

Lady Melissa chooses one of the many directions in the alleyway.

'I'll choose the left direction since I already took the right direction just now.'

Lady Melissa thought to herself, after all, what was the worst to happen?

Just as Lady Melissa took the left direction out of the glimpse of her eye, she saw something absolutely horrible and disgusting.

A man dismembering a woman's body parts, Lady Melissa had seen the man's face as well.

The man was lean and tall with brown hair, and he had green eyes.

The thing that struck out to Lady Melissa the most, however, was his smile.

He looked so happy dismembering the female's organs that it had shocked Lady Melissa, and she felt discomfort in her body seeing that smile of his...

Lady Melissa quickly hid behind a wall, blood rushing through her veins.

She was holding her hand in her mouth, afraid that she would say or shout anything that would alert the murderer.

Lady Melissa could still very much vividly recall the chilling dead body of the woman just now.

Blood was practically everywhere, and even some of it had reached the walls. The floor was filled with blood.

And her organs... it was just a brutal sight to see.

She could smell the blood, and the woman's organs were on the floor.

Lady Melissa decided to run, but she had to be extremely careful, or else even the slightest noise would alert the murderer.

'three.....two....one.....NOW!'

Lady Melissa ran and ran. She was practically running for her life, hoping that the murderer wouldn't hear her footsteps.

Lady Melissa ran and ran till her legs couldn't anymore, she looked behind and luckily there was no one following her.

However, this time Lady Melissa walked straight, not having enough energy to run anymore.

Until she saw Sophia on the empty bench.

"LADY MELISSA! THERE YOU ARE!"

Sophia shouted.

Lady Melissa had never been any happier to see Sophia than now.

"Let's go back to the carriage Sophia; I think the driver should be done by now."

Lady Melissa said, anxious that the murderer would find her.

"Huh- what do you mean, Lady Melissa? We still have five more minutes, but if you insist, I mean sure..."

Sophia said, confused by Lady Melissa's sudden actions.

"Let's go to the carriage now. I can't wait to go back home!"

Lady Melissa fake cheerfully said she didn't want to scare Sophia or anything.

It was evident to Sophia how Lady Melissa was acting weird, but she quickly brushed it off, ignoring the feeling that Lady Melissa was hiding something from her.

"Alright then, Lady Melissa, how about the first one that reaches there has to buy the other some food?"

Sophia said, pointing to a line in front of her. She had made sure that no one was there.

"Sure."

The moment Lady Melissa said sure, Sophia ran and ran, as fast as she could, ignoring Lady Melissa's shouts.

"HAHAHA"

Sophia said, pointing at Lady Melissa, panting for air.

"You owe me food now~."
