Lady Melissa made sure not to only learn from her textbook or from her teacher, she would go to the library in the Shayla estate and read a book or two about the topic with the book-keeper reading his own book as well, there to accompany Lady Melissa's book-reading.
Lady Melissa let out a yawn, as she took off her gloves and turned off the lights, going to her bed, ready for a goodnight's rest that she had been missing out on for the past few days.
After thirty minutes to one hour of Lady Melissa trying to sleep, needless to say it was unsuccessful.
Very unsuccessful, for that matter.
Lady Melissa would toss and turn, trying to find a more comfortable sleeping position so she would be able to comfortably sleep, yet for some reason she just couldn't sleep, no matter the position she chose.
Eventually Lady Melissa gave up on changing sleep positions, instead she decided to go to the kitchen and get a warm glass of milk, since she had read from somewhere that a warm glass of milk would help a person sleep.
Lady Melissa snuck out of her room, carefully opening the door so she wouldn't alert anyone.
Lady Melissa quietly went down the stairs, scared that she might accidentally do something that would wake people up.
She successfully went down the stairs quietly, sneaking into the kitchen to go to her refrigerator to get a warm glass of milk.
Lady Melissa managed to get inside the kitchen, as she opened the refrigerator searching for a jug of milk so she could pour some of it inside of the glass.
Before realizing she did not know how to heat up milk, she knew that she had to turn something on but she didn't know exactly what.
Since the maids would usually be the ones heating things up for Lady Melissa.
Lady Melissa let out a sigh, giving up before deciding that cold milk would always be better than warm milk as she chugged it all down.
Lady Melissa smiled, nothing better than milk, even if it was cold and not warm.
Lady Melissa quickly closed the jug and put it inside of the fridge, and put the glass of milk in the sink before she slowly, stealthily and quietly went back into her room, turning on the lights and going into her bathroom to brush her teeth once more.
She didn't want her teeth to turn yellow, so she brushed them thoroughly using the 3,3,3 method, spending three minutes to rinse her mouthwash, spending another three to brush her teeth, before spending the last three minutes to use water to clean her mouth and spit it out.
Lady Melissa left the bathroom and turned off the lights, before she went back to her bed.
She hoped that she would be able to sleep this time around, after her efforts of sneaking out of her room in hopes of being able to get AT LEAST some sleep.
Lady Melissa got into her bed, and pulled the sheets and surprisingly she fell asleep.
Lady Melissa closed her eyes, and she could feel her surroundings change.
This time though it was of a face that she hadn't seen for a long time.
The brunette-haired woman who Lady Melissa had often seen in her nightmares was hanging around with the Crown Prince.
Lady Melissa could feel her heart starting to race, though she told herself not to panic and just to stay calm.
She took a few deep breaths and exhaled them.
Though after Lady Melissa made contact with the brunette-haired woman her surroundings changed once more.
Instead it became the brunette-haired woman holding the strings of a doll of someone, which Lady Melissa could swear she knew.
Yet, she didn't know who it was or how she knew the person, she just had a gut feeling that she knew the person.
"Stop!"
Lady Melissa shouted to the brunette-haired woman
As pieces of the woman started to turn into butterflies.
"You dare talk back to me?"
The brunette-haired woman replied, as her voice started becoming deeper, and she sounded as if she was mocking Lady Melissa.
The brunette-haired woman turned back into her original form as she started to move closer and closer to Lady Melissa eerily smiling at her.
"Don't. Ever. Play. With. Fire."
The brunette-haired woman said, making sure to pause after every word she said, before she touched Lady Melissa's face.
Immediately Lady Melissa could feel the flames going through her face, and her face started to get distorted from them as the brunette-haired woman held a mirror, showing it to Lady Melissa.
"This is what you really look like."
The brunette-haired woman said, as instead of Lady Melissa seeing her reflection in the mirror, she saw something so much worse.
She saw her dead corpse in it.
That was enough to get Lady Melissa to scream, she had been panicking the entire time but had been trying to keep her cool so that she could get a reaction from the brunette-haired woman.
However, her efforts proved to be futile, it was of no use. The brunette-haired woman would try to find a way to torture her somehow.
"Why are you doing this to me?"
Lady Melissa asked as tears fell from her face.
"Why you ask?"
The brunette-haired woman said, repeating Lady Melissa's question.
"I guess you'll never know."
The brunette-haired woman said, as she maniacally laughed at Lady Melissa's body which was now bursting with flames.
Lady Melissa could see her hands with fire in them, and her body getting hotter and hotter.
Lady Melissa felt as if dying was better than that, and just as she was about to pass out.
Lady Melissa woke up from her nightmare.
The first thing Lady Melissa did when she woke up was touch her body, she couldn't believe that it was all a nightmare.
It couldn't be a nightmare right? With how surreal it had felt to her there just had to be no way it was a nightmare right?
