Lady Melissa had made a custom watch for her father, from the most luxurious watch brand, Molex.

Lady Melissa had the initials of her father and mother engraved into the watch, and she had made sure it was engraved in diamonds, Lady Melissa knew her father was going to love it the moment he set his eyes on it.

The song she had composed and was going to play tomorrow, was a gift for the both of them, one which she had hoped they would appreciate and enjoy.

Lastly, for the finishing touch, they would all go out at night together, to eat dinner at this western restaurant she had reserved months in advance.

It was a famous restaurant, by the name of Cariete, and Lady Melissa knew her parents, especially her mother, would be loving the restaurant.

She had heard rumours about the restaurant, from its amazing food to its amazing decorations that surrounded the restaurant.

Least to say, Lady Melissa was both excited and nervous for tomorrow.

She was excited because she could finally spend time with her parents, or at least she had hoped she would be able to spend time with her parents.

Lady Melissa was nervous because just so many things could go wrong tomorrow.

Such as the florist delivering the flowers to the Shayla estate late, since Lady Melissa had asked for the bouquet of flowers to be delivered on the day itself, in the morning so the flowers wouldn't dry up and wither.

The watch that she had prepared for her father was already in her possession, and she would be giving both of her parents' gifts at the same time.

Lady Melissa originally thought that she should get her mother something better, but the Duchess had the money to buy things that she had already wanted, and Lady Melissa was then reminded at how much her mother loved roses.

So, she decided to order flowers for her mother, though next year Lady Melissa vowed to get better presents for both her parents.

Lady Melissa had finished setting up everything, and she decided that it was time for her to sleep, after all she had a variety of things to do tomorrow, including waking up early.

Lady Melissa had also made sure that she had told the maids about the flowers coming from one of the most famous florists in town.

"We're done Justin, let's go back up."

Lady Melissa said, heading upstairs to her room to get some sleep as Justin followed behind her.

Speaking of Justin, he had already finished his investigation regarding the maids, and had already given Lady Melissa the files a day or two before.

Lady Melissa wasn't shocked or surprised, but she was confused.

The investigation that Justin had on the maids had no sort of dirt on them, other than the fact that they weren't the most financially stable.

Derreck had done a good job in scouting employees for their estate.

'What if it's not from the Shayla estate?'

Lady Melissa thought, wondering that since the maids were probably not the ones who did the crime, what if it was someone else, someone who had snuck into the Shayla estate and stolen the letter.

It was possible, after all, Lady Melissa had snuck out of the manor numerous times, not getting caught by anyone.

But, Lady Melissa pushed the problem to the side, as she had more things to prepare, her parent's anniversary. She wanted to be as relaxed as she could be when she was planning for it.

They meant the world to Lady Melissa, and she would show it to them whenever she could and however she could.

"I will excuse myself, Lady Melissa."

Justin said when Lady Melissa had safely made it back into her bedroom chambers.

Lady Melissa nodded her head, too tired to reply to Justin.

Lady Melissa hadn't gotten sleep in a number of days, and the caffeine had made her feel less sleepy, luckily no one noticed, other than Justin.

When Justin was done with his investigation, he would return to guard Lady Melissa from the outside of her room, and he hadn't had much sleep either, but it came with being a guard.

Guards didn't have the privilege of having much sleep, it came with the job since they had to be around their masters most of the time.

Justin was used to this, as he had spent many years of his life being a guard, going through betrayals, ambushes, and even assassinations, somehow he managed to live through all of it, and he didn't know whether he should be thankful or not for it.

Justin knew that Lady Melissa hadn't gotten any sleep since, he was the first one to see her in the morning, and he had to guard her for most of the day.

Justin noticed the little changes in Lady Melissa when no one else did so, not even her parents.

Lady Melissa wondered if she should ask her parents, or Derreck to get more guards for her.

Although Justin was a great guard, and there were no problems so far she was concerned for her safety, even with the bracelet and ring.

And Lady Melissa felt a little guilty that Justin wasn't getting any sleep, even though she knew it came with being a guard.

Lady Melissa was sure he hadn't visited his room at least three times in a whole week.

She wasn't sure if he even showered, though he didn't smell bad or good.

Lady Melissa was surprised she had made it this far without being ambushed or targeted when she had gotten targeted by so many women in her previous life.

Though, to be fair it was because of the Crown Prince.

Women were jealous of her relationship with the Crown Prince, and they would do anything to bring down Lady Melissa, hoping that the Crown Prince would feel repulsed with her that way.

The Crown Prince would often brush it off whenever Lady Melissa told him about these incidents, as she urged him to tell the public about their relationship, that they were dating.

Or at least Lady Melissa thought they were dating.
