Lady Melissa's parents let out a smile, as the three of them observed the fishes that were in the water, the water being pretty clean considering the caretakers took care of the lake properly, unlike many others.
Lady Melissa had a fun time with her parents, as she pointed out multiple unique fishes that she hadn't seen in the aquarium earlier.
All of a sudden, there was a gust of wind, and Lady Melissa's hat had been blown away, falling into the lake.
Lady Melissa thought that it would be fine, knowing that the Lake wasn't that tall so nothing bad or dangerous could happen.
Lady Melissa went onto the side of the boat, her parents not noticing as they were too busy watching the fish.
Lady Melissa slowly and carefully grabbed her hat, almost getting it before suddenly she was pulled down into the lake.
Lady Melissa knew how to swim, and she had swam multiple times, but this time, whenever she tried to swim, it was as if she would get pulled down more and more.
Lady Melissa fought back multiple times though, her head somehow miraculously being above the water, multiple times, before she was pulled back down.
Lady Melissa couldn't give up, she wouldn't allow herself to, not this early, not now.
She hadn't even wiped the Crown Prince off of Earth, she couldn't allow herself to die right now.
Lady Melissa had so many years to live for, she wouldn't let herself go down before a fight.
Lady Melisssa opened her eyes, ignoring how painful it was with the water in her eyes, but she looked down.
And the one who had been pulling her was the brunette-haired woman who had appeared so often in her nightmares, haunting her almost every time she dreamed.
Lady Melissa suddenly went into a state of shock, not knowing what to do or even how to react.
Lady Melissa was stunned, not being able to believe it.
While the brunette-haired woman simply gave her another smile, before pulling her down into the water more and more.
Whilst all of this was happening, Justin had realized that Lady Melissa was probably drowning, and immediately dived in into the water, trying to find Lady Melissa for a few minutes.
Lady Melissa could feel her eyes starting to get sleepy, as she started to close them, and her nose had stopped trying to inhale any air.
The Duke, Duchess, Sophia, and the two peddlers simply all watched in silence, not knowing what to do, not even understanding what had just happened.
After a few minutes of searching, Justin had eventually found Lady Melissa, hoping that she wasn't too late and that she was still alive.
Justin saw Lady Melissa, her eyes being closed, and her mouth not even being open, and neither did Lady Melissa try to breathe using her nose.
Justin quickly swam towards Lady Melissa's direction, hoping that she was still alive.
She had to be alive, although they had only met a few days ago. Justin cared a lot about Lady Melissa, more so than he would ever like to admit.
Justin quickly carried Lady Melissa, as he swam, with her on his back, trying to safely make the both of them reach the boats, where Lady Melissa could be given the proper assistance.
Justin swam and swam and swam, as if he was fighting for his life.
Eventually he had made it up there, with Lady Melissa still safely on his back, but he didn't know if she was still there, or the worse had happened already.
If she had passed away.
Justin quickly put Lady Melissa in the boat that Sophia was currently in, as he put himself inside the same boat, about to perform CPR on Lady Melissa.
The Duke quickly noticed, stopping Justin before doing so.
"What are you doing?"
The Duke asked, his voice, filled with anger, thinking that Justin was trying to take advantage of his unconscious daughter.
"I'm trying to give her CPR, she's not breathing right now."
Justin said, as he wanted Lady Melissa to be breathing again.
"What? Tell Sophia to do it. You're a man. If word of this ever gets to the news then you know Lady Melissa's reputation is going to be ruined."
The Duke said, explaining why he couldn't allow Justin to perform CPR on his daughter.
"Your daughter is about to die right now and all you're worrying about is that? Find a way so this doesn't get to the news outlet."
Justin said, as the Duke was about to reply, before his wife stopped him from doing so.
Justin quickly used his hands, putting the both of them on Lady Melissa's chest and her shoulders directly over her hands.
Justin quickly took a deep breath, before he continued giving Lady Meissa chest compression, hoping that by some miracle she would be able to wake up, and just manage to live through this.
It was as if Justin's prayers were answered, as the next second. Lady Melissa was conscious, coughing up water from her mouth.
Justin quickly put Lady Melissa in a sitting position, so that she could cough up the water in her mouth easier.
Lady Melissa suddenly puked, inside the boat, immediately being embarrassed by it the next second.
Everyone there was staring at her, and yet there she was puking at the boat.
As if it wasn't enough for her to ruin her parent's anniversary, Lady Melissa had managed to ruin something else as well.
Or at least that was what Lady Melissa had thought, feeling incredibly embarrassed and ashamed of herself, for ruining two things on the same day.
No words were spoken after that, as both the peddlers made it back onto shore, understanding that Lady Melissa would probably do and feel better on land rather than on water, and that Lady Melissa needed water, which was on land.
Clean water was on land, while the water on the lake was filled with fishe's wastes, and other things amongst it, even though it was clean from any kind of human trash or pollution.
