Lady Melissa didn't say anything though as Nathan stayed quiet, Lady Melissa waiting for him to say something.
"Oh uh thank you for telling me, Lady Melissa."
Nathan said as Lady Melissa let out a smile.
"I'll give you the shifts and lay out the rules for you and the other new bodyguards to follow when all of them have arrived."
Lady Melissa said as Nathan nodded his head.
"In the meantime, you can get to know him, he's the first bodyguard and he's also your senior in a way so you can get to know him."
Lady Melissa said as she pointed at Justin, whom Nathan had sawn when he entered her room and assumed was her bodyguard as well, and he was right.
Lady Melissa watched as her now two bodyguards interacted with each other, well mostly just Nathan asking about Justin and wanting to learn more about him.
Whilst Justin simply ignored his questions most of the time and when he did respond to Nathan, he only gave dry and short answers such as 'yes' and 'no'.
He'd never give any sort of explanation to Nathan on why he said yes or no, and although Nathan tried his best not to show that he was irritated, Lady Melissa could see that he was both irritated and frustrated at Nathan.
Lady Melissa thought whether she should step in or not for a few seconds to help Nathan out since he was very visibly frustrated and irritated with how red he looked.
However, she decided against it since this wasn't any of her business or problem.
It was only Nathan's problem, and Justin's but since he wasn't really bothered with it then it didn't count as a problem, at least Lady Melissa didn't think it did.
"Lady Melissa, may I come in?"
Sophia said as she knocked on the door, Lady Melissa soon replying to her as she allowed Sophia to come in.
"Good Afternoon Lady Melissa, I have someone for you outside of the door, she's one of your new bodyguards I think."
Sophia said as she bowed down to Lady Melissa, a smile on her face.
"Bring her inside."
Lady Melissa said as Sophia nodded her head, following her master's orders as she brought the new bodyguard in.
Lady Melissa wondered which one of the two bodyguards was it that had come as her eyes landed on the female.
"Good Afternoon Lady Melissa, I am Clara, pleased to meet your acquaintance."
Clara said as she bowed her head down to Lady Melissa, not wanting to get fired by her, or worse on her first day of the job.
"The other bodyguards are going to come soon enough, there are only two others that haven't come, I'll tell you about the rules and schedules of your shifts later on when everyone's already here."
Lady Melissa said as Clara proceeded to nod her head, as a sign that she understood Lady Melissa's orders.
"You can leave now Sophia, bring the other bodyguards to me once they've arrived."
Lady Melissa lazily said as Sophia nodded her head, bowing down to Lady Melissa before she excused herself.
"Oh and for the meantime you can get acquainted with the other two bodyguards right there, there's going to be one more boy and girl by the way."
Lady Melissa said as she informed Clara as well as Justin and Nathan.
Lady Melissa watched all three of them interact with each other, though they didn't notice as they were all too immersed in the conversation, including Justin himself.
Though if there was one thing that both Justin and Clara could both mutually agree on with each other was that Nathan was irritating and annoying.
Lady Melissa was amused at seeing each of their antics, though she quickly distracted herself with the contract.
The contract that each of them was going to sign before they could work for her- for Noel it was a different case since he had signed the contract the day before today.
Lady Melissa didn't know why he was in such a hurry to work for her, but she allowed Derreck to send the contract over to him.
She had no problem at all with him wanting to sign the contract alone; it would save her time and she wouldn't have to deal with any questions of his.
That was one of the reasons why Lady Melissa had allowed Derreck to send the contract to Noel, and the main reason why she had allowed Derreck to do so.
Lady Melissa didn't regret her decision of sending the contract to Derreck though, because if she did then she'd never know about Victoria's true identity, and she couldn't imagine herself believing in Victoria again and again.
Lady Melissa was going to be developing some serious trust issues- even though she already had them now, though she was disappointed in herself, she should've never ignored the gut wrenching feeling she had about both the letters and Victoria herself.
Lady Melissa made a note to herself never to doubt her gut anymore, even as stupid as it sounded, her gut had somehow managed to get things correctly.
So Lady Melissa wouldn't and couldn't allow herself to make the same mistake by ignoring her gut, it was similar to her making sure she wouldn't fall for the Crown Prince again.
Though the difference between this and the Crown Prince was that she only needed this to happen two or three times, but for the Crown Prince she needed to die first because of him, and then only she got the hint.
Lady Melissa needed to open her eyes, how could she have allowed herself to get tricked by Victoria so easily?
And now she was going to face someone more dangerous and cunning than Victoria- someone whom she sure hated with all her heart.
She had to face Camilia, or should she say princess Camilia? The couple was going to get married soon anyway.
And there was nothing that was going to stop them- at least not to their own knowledge.
