Chapter 265 - 265

After all, Justin had more than enough evidence to support his assumption of this, although he didn't seem like one, he was a great observer, though Lady Melissa had caught on to that fact. Knowing that out of all of her bodyguards he was the most observant one.

Even though he wasn't much of a talker, or anything, he had always managed to make himself stand out in Lady Melissa's eyes (and maybe she had favorites). Perhaps it was because of the fact that he was different from her other bodyguards.

Yes, admittedly, he could be a bit clumsy and forgetful just like the rest of them, but he knew when to get work done, and that if he couldn't get it done he would try his best to get it done- even if it meant sacrificing his break time.

Justin was a hard-working person, and that was why her favorite bodyguard was him, oh and another reason why he was her favorite bodyguard was because of his relationship with Sophia, now Lady Melissa wouldn't ever admit it aloud, but she thought that their relationship was cute, and she was more than happy to see Sophia finally getting the love she deserved.

Ever since the both of them started to date- at least she assumed that they were currently dating because of how lovey-dovey they would act around each other, they started to work harder.

Perhaps it was because of the feeling of having a significant other motivated them and encouraged them, though Lady Melissa didn't really see how that would work, but she wouldn't know since she's single, at least for the time being.

Besides, out of all of the bodyguards that cared for her the most- it was Justin, maybe it was because the both of them had gotten to know each other longer compared to the other bodyguards, even if it was for a few weeks.

In those few weeks her first bodyguard was Justin, she had spent all of her day with him, and not a single second would go by where he wasn't with her, unless of course she was using the toilet or showering.

Other than that though, she pretty much spent all day with him, and whether she liked it or not, she was forced to learn more about Justin, and she started unconsciously learning more about his habits as well.

Lady Melissa thought that Justin reminded her of an elder brother figure as well, as she could see that he genuinely cared for her, perhaps in his eyes, she looked like his sister and that was the reason for all his concern for her.

Maybe it was because she had never had a sibling that she had thought of Justin like an elder brother figure (but with less power than the younger sister) and maybe it was because of Justin's loss that he had unconsciously started to care for Lady Melissa more than he probably needed to.

Lady Melissa was sure that Justin was reminded of his sister when he looked at her, at least once, after all, she had seen him stare at her intensely, wondering whatever was the reason before she realized it herself.

Justin was a kind person, it was just that he didn't like talking that much and was an introvert, so sometimes when he would try to say things it would just come out the completely wrong way and so people would end up misunderstanding him because of it.

The next day had soon past as Lady Melissa was awoken due to the noises of the chirping birds that for some reason decided that out of all of the days in the calendar where she would stay up, the one day she had managed to get some rest was the very same day that they would annoy her.

Lady Melissa let out a sigh, knowing that she eventually had to leave the comfort of her warm and cozy bed, as she opened the blinds, the sun hitting her face immediately as it blinded her before her eyes quickly adjusted to the lighting that entered the room.

She quickly got into the bathroom, as she was hit with the cold water, almost letting out a scream in surprise as she was still sleepy, after all, she had just woken up, and she wasn't exactly entirely awake.

She didn't know that she had chosen to turn on the cold water as well, instead, she had just thought that she had adjusted it to the warm water, though she must've thought wrong because it was in the cold water.

Lady Melissa was now awake though, the cold water was an experience that was enough to keep her awake, and not sleepy, well at least not that sleepy anymore compared to earlier events.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Nathan was wondering whether he should enter the bathroom- since he did hear a thud, though it was just the showerhead of the bathroom hitting the floor, not a body or anything.

Lady Melissa, hadn't worn her bracelet either, or ring for that matter since she had just woken up, besides who wore bracelets, rings, necklaces, or any sort of jewelry to their sleep? Lady Melissa certainly didn't.

Lady Melissa could hear Nathan shouting on the outside, as she furrowed her eyebrows, before letting out a sigh, figuring out what he was trying to say to her or do.

"Don't come in, first of all, I'm not fully clothed, and second of all I'm alive so just wait for me."

Lady Melissa said, her tone filled with boredom as she let out a sigh- looking at herself in the mirror, not hearing a reply from Nathan as he had finally shut up from her words, she needed to bring them to discipline training, all of them.

Though that was a problem for another day, she had already told Derreck the other day to give her bodyguards some discipline lessons, since they weren't exactly the most disciplined bodyguards.
