Chapter 41：GP Bakery Proprietors

Godem and Seb decided to go and visit the GP Cake and Pastries to meet the owners while Nomin stayed beside her in doing the laundry.

" He said he would help me, where are they going with Godem?"

" They'll I guess buy some more cakes for our fridge, Godem was eaten too much by sweets." Nomin replied.

" Hmm...it's not good anymore, it seems he's hooked into it and craving too much. Last night was worst, he'd eaten almost all slices and we only shared one slice. Imagine, it's the biggest box I guess." Karla complained.

" Don't worry, I'd talk to Godem tonight. I'll tell him that."

While in Seb's Car parked in front of the GP Cakes and Pastries, they were hesitant to get out and meet the owner. But Godem had a bright idea on it.

" Let's buy a cake. While I fall in line to the counter and pay, you look for the owner." Godem suggested then they got out from the car. When they were already inside the GP space, Godem got his starry, starry eyes in motion, back to the mesmerizing, pleasant, creamy and perfect taste. While Seb was busy looking at the man who gave him the calling card, but no one appeared the same so Seb asked the teller.

"Miss, excuse me, I was the same customer who bought a box of cake yesterday. Can I ask if the owner is inside, I just would like to ask if...we can make a deal of...having some of these cakes be delivered in our company meeting next week, Wednesday, 1:00 pm. We'd like to have a reservation of 15 boxes chocolate cake, all's in regular size." Seb swallowed his saliva and smiled.

" Wow! that's an amazing news for us. Thank you, Sir. I'll tell my boss if he'll report here today regarding your bulk order, surely it would have discounts." The teller smiled at him.

" Thank you Miss." Seb had a handshake with the lady before he bade goodbye. Eventually, Godem was also done with his purchase transaction so they moved out with Seb heading to the parking lot. While starting to roll off to the highway, Godem asked.

"Are...are you sure your people can consume 15 boxes of chocolate cakes during your meeting on Wednesday?" Godem smiled.

" I don't know. Its the only way that popped up on my mind."

"Ow..do you have plans of buying groceries, I've heard it's your assignment at home. What do you think, will you do it now? I'll take the risk, haha."

" Cool! Lead me there in that mall on the left. Haha, are you serious?" Godem asked.

"Haha, come on in, I have to pick and buy personal stuffs too." Then Seb laughed as they entered the entrance of the KMall.

" Wow! Such a cool aircon they've had here. Huh...do we have to separate ways, I'll be in the dry market."

"No, don't...I don't have the card, it's in your wallet!"

"Ah haha! Okay, don't panic, it's here, I still have two cards left. Take this one, hmm."

" Thanks. Where are we going to meet supposed I'm already done?" He's kidding him.

" It's not a problem, you forgot already? haha! okay go on."

When he was alone, he proceeded to the lady's department and tried to select Karla's stuffs, based from what Godem had mentioned in front of Demido's trial with Godem's testimony. In a while, a saleslady moved closer to him and smiled.

" Good day Sir, how may I help you?"

" Do you have a small sheet of paper, I'll write down my wife's needs and kindly pick them up for me. Choose the best designs fit for my 27 year old wife, deal? For 5 designs per order." Then he smiled.

" Wow! amazing! at your service, Sir. I'll pick up the best for her fit." He just waited beside the cashier, watching women passing by. Minutes after, the saleslady returned to him and showed to him what she have selected. The cashier smiled because he was the only male customer who directly purchased for her wife's stuffs. Eventually, women around were looking at him, smiling. After successfully put all of his orders in a big eco bag, he got out from the ladies department and went back to the ground floor and grabbed big bars of heno de pravia soap, around 30 pieces of them. Then he smelled it.

" Hmm, this smell..." then when he opened his eyes, he saw Godem in front of him, sarcastically smiling.

" Good heavens...what have you done in here, go back to the wet market."

" But I even put all the groceries in the car, I only had it in ten minutes. Okay, I'll just go ahead, just enjoy your shopping, Sir." Then he walked off smiling.

He had it all piled up in a bigger box then went out while he had sensed that Godem was already waiting along the highway, in front of the KMall.

"They reached home at midday and the house was empty. Nomin left a small piece of paper and left a note;

" Karla would like to buy something, I'm with her and don't worry. By the way, your lunch with Godem are ready, and look, it's finely covered on the table, just serve yourselves."

While Godem and Seb were enjoying their lunch, Godem slipped his tongue.

"Seb, hmm...did Seb's soul knew on what really happened to him. It's painful, right?"

"I don't like to know further, I'd let the heavens decide. Then he bowed his head. When this mission will be over, I know I'll be leaving someone I'd be missing so much too."

" You'll never know yet." Godem smilingly said.

" A little." Godem pronounced.

" Hmm..forget it." It's time to wash the dishes, come on." Seb smiled.

Then at 3:00 pm, Karla and Nomin arrived with some eco bags along with them.
