Book 2: Chapter 7 (5/9)

After getting bored of flying around for no reason, Kain flew back into the Blood Storage Room and drank twenty-three jars of human blood to fill up eight blood pools inside his stomach. He then flew back to the Throne Room and sat on the Emperor’s chair waiting for Urien Hyde to come back.

After waiting for a little while longer, Kain thought, “Where is Urien? Why hasn't he come back yet?”

Kain banished all of his conjured creatures including Finwe as he no longer needed their protection. He then flexed his Vampire Wings again to start flying around the castle to look for Urien. “Hoh? There are movements in that room.” The room Kain mentioned was about two thousand feet away but due to recent improvement in his perceptions, Kain could hear loud movements coming out from it. Kain flew toward that room and attempted to investigate more but when he heard a female voice said in a trembling tone, “Please don’t-”. Kain threw a powerful kick on the door of that room and broke it to pieces.

Kain thought Urien Hyde was being defeated and some Vampires were trying to kill Lady Belinda Argent. After breaking the door to pieces, Kain yelled out loud, “Stop!” Kain quickly scanned the room and his eyes opened widely when he saw what was happening on the bed.

“What the f**k guys? You made me wait so long for this?” Kain asked when he saw Urien was ‘doing Vampire Style’ with a beautiful female Ancient Vampire on the bed. Needless to ask, that must be Lady Belinda Argent, Urien Hyde’s wife.

Vampire Style, an Ancient Sex Technique that reserved for Ancient Vampires, Vampire Nobles, and Vampire Emperor. This technique can’t be used by humans regardless of how much they wanted to.

Despite being watched by Kain, Urien and Belinda continued ‘connecting their love’. Belinda repeatedly discoursing in trembling voices, “Please don’t… stop. Please don’t stop… Urien, please don’t stop...”

Kain wanted to close his eyes but it refused to obey his commands and continued to open for knowledge observation. About ten seconds later, Kain managed to walk out from that room while saying, “Y’all kids have fun then. I will be waiting in the Throne Room.” Kain then casted [Conjured Fire Demon] twice and commanded them to guard the room without letting anyone interrupt Urien ‘connecting’ with Belinda. After Urien and Belinda finished their ‘reunion’, the Fire Demons were tasked to not let them 'reconnecting' again and must bring them to see Kain at the Throne Room of this castle.

Two hours later. Kain asked himself in silence with angry emotion, “How long can this f**ker last doing with his wife? In the First-tier of this Timeless Dungeon when I was forced to married Princess Phyrra Filifar and her girlfriend, Rolanda Ellarian, I only lasted twenty minutes on the bed with both of them.”

Urien and Belinda finally finished their ‘connection’ and came to the Throne Room to show Kain their appreciation. Upon seeing Kain, Urien widely smiled and introduced his wife to him, “Kain Bersk, this is my wife, Belinda Argent. Belinda, this is the Vampire Lord from Toria Continents that came here to help me get you back.”

Belinda bowed toward Kain as she thanked him, “Vampire Lord Kain Bersk, please accept my greatest gratitude through this bow.”

Kain used this chance to observe Lady Belinda Argent and understood why Urien couldn’t just let her go and must get her back at all cost. Her beauty just can’t be described using words. Kain swallowed his saliva while thinking to himself, “Peace will only be granted to the weak from the strong. Having a beautiful wife such as this is just wrong. You will never have peace unless you are strong.”

Kain banished the two Fire Demons, smiled, and said, “Belinda, Urien spoke a lot about you to me but I just didn’t listen to any of it. You are indeed very beautiful, Urien wasn’t just exaggerating about that. Urien, please call Iris to let her know I have completed this quest.”

Jael has been sitting on a chair in the Throne Room without saying anything after seeing Kain successfully transformed into a Vampire Emperor. He kept repeatedly whispering to himself like a mad man, “That should have been me. I should be the next Vampire Emperor.”

Urien chanted out loud in some unknown language. A few seconds later, Iris appeared in front of him. Instead of speaking with Urien, Iris activated [Time Freeze] to freeze everything in this realm. Except for Kain, everyone else including Urien, Belinda, Jael, and other Ancient Vampires were placed in the frozen-like state. Iris then walked toward Kain and said, “Hey! Watcher Tykan was very pleased with your performance.”

Kain asked in a confusing tone, “Isn’t that obvious? I’m always awesome.”

“Watcher Zorim bet that you won’t dare to eat the Vampire Emperor’s heart while Watcher Tykan bet that you will. To be honest, I didn’t think you were that stupid.”

“Huh?”

“Didn’t you know eating the Vampire Emperor’s heart can transform you into a Vampire Emperor just like Xenos Heliot?”

“That's what I wanted. Isn’t that a good thing?”

“Of course not. The [Vampire Emperor Transmutation] spell I mentioned before is ten times better than this. But now, you will never have a chance to use that spell anymore. I pitied you, Kain Bersk.”

“I don’t understand. Is the Vampire Emperor of this world different compared to the one that can be transformed using [Vampire Emperor Transmutation]?”

“Of course. Transform into a Vampire Emperor using that ultimate spell will give you access to twenty-six new spells that can only be used after transformation. Those spells are truly overpowered if comparing whatever little benefits you gain from eating the Vampire Emperor’s heart.”

Kain laughed out loud and said, “Haha… I didn’t want the [Vampire Emperor Transmutation] spell anyway. I was leaning more toward the [Devil Anatomy] spell.”

Iris saw that she can’t make Kain regret his decision of eating the Vampire Emperor’s heart, she breathed out heavily to control her anger and said, “At least you have gained some benefits from eating Xenos’ heart. Because you were not a Vampire Noble, you didn’t actually turn into a Vampire Emperor like Xenos was.”

“Eh? Would you please explain it better?”

“You are now a Vampire Mutant. Let me better describe it. You are a half-man, half-vampire. That was how you can continue having a mana pool while gaining three extra health pools and eight blood pools inside your body. Notwithstanding, your Twin Soul was mutated as you turned into a half-vampire. You won’t be able to access the blood pools stored inside Magical Blood Equipment anymore.”

“I already knew about it. Is there any other thing that I don’t know yet?”

“As a Vampire Mutant, you won’t have to drink human blood to recharge your blood pools. The blood pools inside your body will slowly charge itself just like your mana pool will automatically recover. So, that is a plus.”

“That… is great news!”

“But…”

“But what?”

“But you can no longer cast [Second Soul] spell. You can still use Black, Conjuration, and Blood Magics though.”

“What? No!”
