Chapter 229 - See you soon

'You have beautiful black eyes.'

'Your eyes, the difference is they were scared on that day and your black mole near your lips...'

'Mole', he was sure she touched his mole and that smile was for him.

"Darling, If she has somebody else in her heart, I will give up. If not, I can be by her side."

Olivia sighed before nodding. Arlo went towards David, "Chairman Harley?"

David rubbed his forehead before answering, "It doesn't matter if I agree or not. Sky will decide who to keep by her side. Even if she agrees and if her brother rejects, you stand no chance because Sky always listens to him."

What David tried to say was, Jai was the deciding soul for Sky. Arlo understood David, "So does that mean you will not object my proposal?"

David was still thinking when Olivia spoke, "Mr.Harley, Don't worry. I can guarantee that my grandson will never cross the line."

David saw him the eye, "Do you really like her?"

Arlo froze, he wasn't sure why he felt like he should protect her and wanted to see her smiling. And he just wanted to be the one who could make her happy.

"Chairman Harley, I will protect her and keep her away from worries. It will be her choice whether to choose me or not."

David nodded, "Never break her trust and you may know that Barton brothers are very important to her than me so you should be able to handle your jealousy as everyone is envious of them."

Arlo smiled, yes! he was jealous of her brothers when she ignored him to talk to Barton brothers. But priorities in the life change when a new relation adds so he was ready to face it. "Thank you, Chairman Harley."

Doctors who checked on Sky exited the ICU. Jai asked immediately, "How is my sister?"

"She is weak so slept off. She is safe. Don't worry." The leading doctor told them. "Since she is sleeping, don't disturb her."

Everyone agreed as they entered inside to see Sky. They saw her and sighed a breath of relief.

Jai asked everybody to leave and he stayed in. After sending his grandmother off, Arlo went back to Sky's room.

He knocked on the door, "Mr.Barton, May I talk with you?"

Jai went out and closed the door of ICU, "Mr.Barton, I..." Jai cut in.

"President Smith, I owe you for helping me in saving my sister but that doesn't mean I let a man like you to play with her. You should find somebody else for having fun." Jai had heard his conversation with David when they were inside ICU.

Arlo smiled and replied, "I know Mr.Barton is no ordinary man so you already know about me and your girlfriend is my cousin, You can ask her if you want."

Jai's main intention was to provoke him, but he was rather calm. "You have your special force in country D, So let me see your sincerity first." Jai went in without waiting for his reply.

Arlo saw Sky through the peek hole before leaving. He dialed an international number as he left, "Mr.Willy!"

"I'm planning to visit you, Send a chopper to the hotel in twelve hours."

"Sure. See you soon." Arlo replied and hung up the call.
