Sky assigned other works to Andy and Arlo. Then she spoke to David, "Chairman Harley! You don't have to worry about anything related to work. The most important thing is please don't bully these two."
"If anything needs my attention, call me... I will check mails, so you can keep me updated there. Anything else?"
Sky spoke for about twenty minutes about work before asking them. Sky saw David rubbing his temples. The expressionless face of Arlo. Andy was trying to speak something but he controlled looking at David.
Sky answered for him knowing what was going on his head, "Andy! I'm in town A. I'm not sure when I will be back. Anything else you want to ask?"
Andy shook his head, "Nothing Ms.Sky"
"Andy! you can leave now." David told to Andy.
Once he left the office, David spoke, "Look at your desk. There is already a small heap. If you don't come this week, then it will increase."
Sky had seen her desk when she connected her call. "I know!" After pausing for a few seconds she replied, "Ask Andy to get it here if it's urgent."
That wasn't what David wanted but he also knew she would say something like that. "So aren't you coming back?"
"I need time!" Sky replied instantly.
David furrowed his brows and spoke, "We probably got the project because of Arlo."
Sky understood which project David was talking about. Sky furrowed her brows, "How?"
Arlo decided to tell the truth, "I attended the meeting and gave the presentation..." Arlo wanted to tell about his real identity but Sky cut him off,
"You weren't in the team and I asked Andy to lead it. Why did you go? Dad! Did he bribe them?" If he bribed, she would personally hand him to cops finding the evidence.
David shook his head. Arlo answered her, "I wanted it to complete smoothly so I went with them."
Sky started smiling which confused both Arlo and David. "I should have guessed you went there."
Sky kept her elbows on the table and cupped her face pursing lips. She looked adorable on the big screen due to which David and Arlo's lips tilted up slightly.
"Arlo, Are you sure you don't want to start your own company? I can convince my dad to help you. Kris international is nothing, you can compete with that... Sigma."
Sky always appreciated talented people. It wasn't out of her character to say that. This aspect was the same as David's. He always helped brilliant ones who couldn't afford to study or get work.
David pursed his lips and looked away from the television web camera to control his laughter. Arlo didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She was literally saying him to compete with himself.
Arlo sucked in a deep breath. "No, I don't want to start a new company."
"Bad choice!" Sky replied. "Dad! We both can rest if we appoint him as CEO, Do you want to try?" Sky wasn't serious with her suggestion. She just tested it.
"Sky!" David snorted. Sky made a zipping mouth gesture to cool him.
Arlo didn't like what she suggested "Ms.Sky! Being a president and CEO of the company, shouldn't you have some responsibility and work instead of running away?"
Sky turned serious, "Mind your words... Just because I'm good to you that doesn't mean I will listen to your crap. For your kind information, I'm here because of you. You are such a headache."
"Dad! I'm not coming soon. Now I have to go shopping. Bye." She was about to hang up, she paused and said worriedly, "Don't work too much... Don't stress about anything... Take care, Bye" Sky hung up.
Sky was happy that she had a secretary who was better than her. Since she got the answer to the question she thought about when to return. But the more she thought about work, her head started to throb.
She shook her head and went out to her room. She got ready and went downstairs where the other three were waiting for her. "Let's go." She told them as she moved towards the door.
"Sister Sky!" Loran removed his white cap and put it on her. "Now you look like Sky Barton. Let's go."
Sky was wearing a basic half sleeves peach t-shirt, blue denim shorts matching with white and black running shoes, now white cap completed her usual summer look.
"Sister Sky! You look younger than me and Loran like this." Clark commented as they went out.
Loran had gone faster to get his car out of the garage, Sky's car was outside. When she reached her car, Brian Kent ran towards her calling her name repeatedly.
Sky was frightened by his speed and unconsciously back climbed on the car bonnet, "Stop, Stop."
Sam and Clark were still inside. When they saw her climbing on the car bonnet and they ran out.
Thankfully Brian had stopped at a safe distance. Sam furrowed his brows, "Sky, you could flip him off. why are you scared?"
"Do I have to keep my guards up at home too?" Sky said and furrowed her brows looking at Brian.
"Why are you looking for me?" She asked coldly.
"Save my job. I have taken a loan for my house, car. I can't clear it if I lose my job. I'm sorry, I will not insult you ever again. Please save my job." Brian pleaded.
"I didn't do anything. I have no connecti... Sam?" Sky turned to Sam.
Sam stood there as if he didn't know what was happening. Clark looked at the trio in confusion. Brian was at loss.
That time, Loran drove his Vanquish and stopped near them, "Sister Sky!"
Sky bent and passed the fob to Sam, "Drive my car. I will go with Loran. AEON mall."
Sky slid down from the bonnet and got into Loran's car saying to Brian, "Brian, We won't affect your job. Go."
Loran left after she sat inside. Sam drove Sky's Vantage with Clark. Brian was dumbstricken seeing two different Aston Martin models. He had taken more than three years to buy his Range rover which he tried to show off in front of Sky in the morning.
He wanted to think those cars as Jai Barton's but thinking his job was hanging by a thread, he didn't want to offend her or her friend.
After reaching the AEON mall, Sky spoke to Sam, "Sam, When did you become so petty? Who do you know from Sigma that he ran to me?"
"Some high-level management employees. I'm not as petty as you." Sam rolled his eyes as they went inside the showroom.
"Let him off the hook." Sky said. Sam ignored her and they selected clothes.
