Chapter 457 - Take left

The sharp pain made her open eyes and sat on the bed. Her left hand was on the bed as she hit her head continuously with the right head. "You can handle!... You can handle! It's just a marriage certificate. Then be as you are. You don't have care about other things. Stand by your words. You can do it...." Sky mumbled her self for a minute long and opened her eyes.

She removed her wallet from the jacket and placed as much as cash she had on the bed with her ' Sky Barton ' card and left the room.

She didn't even raise her head to see who was around and went to the elevator. She clicked it, once twice and thrice and the elevator didn't move from the ground floor.

She strode towards the stairs and started descending but she felt dizzy. She took a deep breath and sat down on the stair holding her head.

Ryan who went to pick military doctors from another city returned to the hospital. When he saw Sky exiting the VIP room, he panicked as he didn't have his disguise on.

But Sky didn't even raise her head and walked off with poker face. The room door was closing when he saw broken pieces of glasses on the floor.

He turned to doctors who were following and pointed to a doctor's meeting room, "Please have seat in there."

Three doctors nodded and went ahead. He opened the door and saw inside. everything was wreaked havoc. He went back to the corridor and saw Sky impatiently pressing the elevator button and going towards stairs. Not understanding what's going on, He took out his mobile to call Arlo.

Arlo exited from next room and was about to enter the room which Sky was in, he saw Ryan, "Surgeons came?"

Ryan turned to him nodded, "What happened to Sky? What did you do to her? Why room is in mess?" In the end, he pointed at the room.

Thinking she must have done something to herself, He immediately went in and saw the room. Sky was nowhere in the room and room was completely opposite to what it was just two minutes back.

Arlo who had taken a few steps inside saw a red blood patch on the white blanket, her card, and some cash.

"Where is Sky?" Arlo asked as he ran out.

Before Ryan could reply, Arlo reached the elevator and went in. He clicked on the ground floor button and waited.

He didn't know what to think. He just knew if something happened to her because of him, he couldn't forgive himself.

As he exited, he looked around and saw Sky walking towards the exit. He ran to her and held her hand to look where she was hurt.

Sky flung his arm, "How can I help you?"

Arlo was taken aback. She looked into his eyes without any emotion. She was so cold and distant that she looked like a completely different person. Words stuck in his throat as he looked at her.

Sky waited for ten-fifteen seconds and said, "Excuse me!" And she left.

Arlo stood rooted seeing at departing figure. When she exited, Andy approached her and greeted her. He didn't know if she spoke or not, she was paused for a few seconds and left. Andy followed her towards the parking lot.

He couldn't see the parking area but he saw her car driving out. One thing he was sure was she would not treat him well from then on.

He called a string of numbers and instructed, "Make sure she is safe."

He hung up and stood there for a long time. Ryan who got the video footage of the room couldn't hear anything until Sky screamed at Arlo to leave the room.

His hands trembled to hear her shriek. Then her voice wasn't clear again but he was sure she was scolding herself as she broke everything. He had tried to lip read but he couldn't completely know what she said.

He went to look for Arlo who was rooted in one position looking at the exit. He took his hand and stuffed the tab he was holding and spoke, "Even though I don't know what you said. She deserves somebody better than you."

Then he left for the meeting on the third floor. Arlo held the tab but he didn't dare to play the video after hearing Ryan's icy hateful words. He went to the meeting room holding the tab as tightly as he could.

Sky who exited the hospital heard Andy greeting her, "Ms.Sky!"

She wanted to send him back but asked him to drive her home due to her headache. Andy followed her and took the driver seat and drove towards the Harley mansion.

Sky remained silent until she saw a deviation towards Town A then suddenly she said, "Take left."

Andy followed her instructions and got on to the highway from the ring road. he wanted to ask if they were going to Town A as she said 'Drive me Home' .

He thought she meant Harley mansion but turning towards that road, was she saying the Barton house?

But he didn't dare to ask. When she called him, she told him to reach Sigma hospital as soon as possible so that he could be of some help to Arlo whose grandmother was hospitalized.

Due to heavy traffic, he was late on public transport and she asked to drive than to help Arlo. He had many questions about it but looking at her who was so cold that his back stiffened, he remained silent.

After nearly two hours they had to cross Harley resorts and Sky spoke, "Take left"

Andy took a turn. He knew it was way to Moutain Den where he had taken her once. Ten minutes from highway they reached the foot of the Moutain.

Sky got down and took a few deep breaths. She smiled to herself before going towards the Lamian shop. Andy alighted and followed her.

She looked inside the shop, not seeing who she wanted, she went towards the kitchen and opened the curtain of the window before calling, "Uncle Reed!"

Andy who was standing a few steps behind was surprised to hear her lively voice.

A middle-aged man came out of the door and held her hands. "Oh my! my! Ivy! Look who is here."

"So Uncle still remembers me." Sky smiled and said teasingly.

"Kid! How can we forget you? We thought you forgot us. Why didn't you come for so long?" Mr.Reed asked Sky with a gentle smile on his face.

Ivy came out and was surprised, "Sister Sky! Why didn't you come from so long time? Why did you forget us?"

Mr.Reed was the owner of the Lamian shop and Ivy was his daughter who was in her twenty years old.
