Ivy told them how Sam had stopped his car in front of her. Since it was an open-top car, Ivy greeted him but he left without giving her face.
Sam heard Sky's all speculation of why he stopped in front of Ivy as the other four men joined her. Ivy was blushing red and he couldn't take it so he had to punish Sky for her to stop.
Ivy excused herself and went back to her work team ignoring Sky who wanted to stop her saying 'No girls to dance with my friends and I can't handle five plus one as the other one leaving.'
Ryan soon came and bid them and Daniel before leaving. Mia asked Sky whether she could dance hence she took Mia on the dance floor leaving six men to stand awkwardly.
Sky kneeled her legs down and used simple steps like twirling, moving and hand actions which Mia was learning super fast. Since it was Mia's dinner time, Sky spoke to Mia before stopping. She was about to get up, a hand came down to help her.
If it was somebody she knew, they would talk first. She identifies Sam and Arlo's hand so seeing an unknown hand, she declined without seeing their face. "No! Thank you."
Mia had called Sam at the same time. The latter pulled her up holding her arms. "How long were you going to kneel in your gown?"
Before she could respond, the Other two hands carried her up, "Aren't your knees paining?"
"Sam! Get Mia for dinner." Sky told him first before looking at Arlo, "I can walk. Put me down."
"Oh!" But he made her sit at the table for dinner...
Norvin was retracting his hand when he saw Daniel's brother pulling her up and another man wearing framed-reading glass carry her. They didn't even ask permission and she didn't even tell them anything.
He clearly heard them worry about her knees who just kneeled for five minutes maximum. His date shook his hand to continue dancing.
He was dancing when Sky and Mia had joined the dance floor next to them. He had clearly heard them talking and laughing as the little girl dancing.
When Sky was trying to get up in her gown from kneeling, he thought to help and stretched his hand. He heard her say, 'No thank you' so he was retracting and he saw how they took care of Sky.
Sky had dinner with Arlo, Mia, and others. Mia had her stomach fill and slept in Arlo's arms where Peter and others started giving glancing at Sky.
She poked Sam to ask why they were giving looks. "They are thinking your husband like children so you..."
Sky cut him off, "Understood. No need to continue. "
Sam peeked at her poker face started laughing attracting others' attention. Sky ran away before anybody could pick on the topic.
Sky saw Ivy leaving and followed her leaving her champagne flute aside. "Ivy!"
She walked faster "Ivy" and stopped her at the exit. "How are you going home? Where do you stay?"
"Sister Sky, I tried booking cab, didn't get any. I will go in a taxi... I share an apartment with my friend near F street." Ivy replied hurriedly and checked her wristwatch.
Sky nodded and dialed a number. "Get me a car near the exit." Sky hung up after hearing a response.
"Sister Sky, I will manage. Don't worry." Ivy looked a little troubled.
Sky didn't want to send her alone. "You will not get a taxi here quickly. Look there! how many are waiting."
"But..." Sky cut in, "No buts."
"What's wrong? Why do you look so serious? Did anything happen inside?" Sky noticed she wasn't as lively she used to be with her.
Ivy shook her head and said hesitatingly. "Sister Sky... Actually, one of my colleagues was forcing me to dance with him, I felt disgusted and I want to leave."
Sky furrowed her brows, "Are you scared of him? Ivy! you shouldn't run away from problems unless you really can't do anything about it. Learn to solve them. Learn to face it."
Ivy looked at her and didn't respond. Sky heard a voice calling Ivy and she could say it was a drunken voice. "Ivy... Ivy..."
Sky turned around to see as Ivy held her hand, "Sister Sky, Let's go."
Sky understood he was the man. She didn't move and didn't let Ivy leave. "Sister Sky! No need to get to his mouth, Let's go..."
"You!... you were the one who took Ivy to those men right. Are you a supplier? What is her price? I can double it."
A hoarse voice sounded with a grin and Sky furrowed her brows higher. "What the hell are you talking about?"
Ivy tugged Sky, "Sister Sky, let's leave." She was on the verge of tears.
Seeing Ivy leave, that man tried to hold her hand but Sky slapped his hand and warned him. "Keep your paws away if you want them safe."
Sky understood what he meant by the supplier. She had taken her to Sam so... 'Ivy is in problem because of me!' Sky chided herself in mind.
That man scornfully laughed, "What about your price? You look better than her."
He tried to touch Sky but he latter twisted his hand without batting an eyelid. The man's groans sounded as the crowd covered them.
Norvin froze who was going towards them.
"Didn't I tell you to keep your paws away?" Her tone was cold and emotionless.
Sky snapped his fingers on the hand which she twisted and kicked on his ankle leg to make him fall on the floor.
She then turned to Ivy and said in a firm tone, "Learn to protect yourself. You can't run away or depend on anybody all the time."
Ivy was still in shock. Even though their height was the same, Sky was slim and delicate. She looked gracious all the time. Ivy didn't expect her to handle a drunk man effortlessly.
Sky pulled Ivy who was dazed to the car which Harley guard brought and made her sit before instructing the driver. She apologized for creating such an impression on her colleagues before seeing her off.
While entering back she saw Arlo leaning on the door frame and bit her lips. 'This man going to take my class today. I'm so dead today.'
But the crowd shocked to see an overbearing woman turn meek in a few seconds.
Seeing the crowd, Sky scowled, "Show stopped. Scram." She couldn't understand why people love to watch instead of helping.
