Chapter 678 - I will kick you out

She was completely weak when she stopped crying. Her eyes were swollen. Her face had turned red with it. She was struggling to even open her eyes when Arlo carried her to bed.

He took a warm towel from the bathroom and wiped her face and neck. 

Knowing she couldn't eat anything after crying, he asked the doctor to put an IV and sedated after Sam's suggestion.

He arranged dinner for Loran and went to give him. Loran took the plate and asked, "Brother-in-law, Is Sister Sky alright?"

Arlo didn't want to tell.

Loran gave a faint smile and continued, "I know Sister Sky was trying to be strong from the morning so I didn't bring up about Brother Jai. I can't look after her in this state. You should take good care of her."

Arlo hummed and rubbed his head before leaving.

Arlo got to know about the understanding level of brothers and the sister was too high.

He left a nurse to look after them for a whole evening and night as Ryan had to go to Olivia.

When David visited, he spoke with Loran and checked on sleeping Sky before leaving. Arlo just told that she was tired but David knew just by seeing her face.

Arlo stayed right next to Sky all the time. After finishing his work, he checked her laptop and drafted out many mails before bathing her and sleeping.

Sky woke up very early by half-past four.

Not knowing when must have Arlo slept, she didn't get up as she was sure he would be next to her if she gets up.

Hence she snuggled to a comfortable position as Arlo's arms tightened around her and she slept again with the hopes of seeing Jai awake.

When Arlo woke up, he woke her up as she had skipped dinner. He fed her porridge before letting her leave the room.

Seeing Arlo doing everything for her, she returned back inside from the door and raised her hands at him with a faint smile pursuing her lips.

Arlo carried her up, "What happened?"

She pressed her lips on his forehead before hugging him. "I will take away."

I will take away after everything becomes normal where only you will have me, nobody else...

Arlo wasn't sure why she said it, he hugged her as he patted her back lightly.

Sky unwounded her arms after some time and faced him, "I like my loving and caring Mrs.Harley, and I also like the Domineering mighty President Smith. So how about you go to work from today?..." Sky knew many works were pending since Arlo didn't go office.

Arlo wanted to rebuff but Sky covered his lips by her hand as she continued, "You should return back to me at least.. two hours early. If I feel like to cry before brother Jai wakes up, that I will do only in your arms. If I feel low, I call you right away. Hmmm... your office isn't far so how about you cook and get me lunch? We will eat together. I'm sure you didn't eat yesterday, so from today, we will not skip any meals. We will take care of ourselves so that nobody worries about us. Please, please..."

Seeing him look at her without giving any response, Sky whined holding his ear.

"I can't see you run behind me all the time to take care of me. You are spoiling me rotten. I'm your wife, I do have to consider what's good for you. So just shut up and go to your office. If you want to see me, you can come to me. If you don't agree with me, I will kick you out of here and won't allow you to the hospital again. Hmph."

Arlo's lips tilted up slightly hearing her threaten.

When she requested, he felt like a fragile woman requesting her husband. He would never agree to leave seeing her in that state. After hearing her order and threaten, he felt relaxed.

"As you wish Madam President Smith. But don't forget what you have told me."

She gave a tight hug again before going down from his arm, "I will always do what I say. You better be present when I call you."

For unknown reasons, he likes her hooligan personality way too much.

All tried their best not to worry another one.

Arlo went to Sigma after making sure security was tight.

Sky started her normal office work from the hospital. She would sit and talk to Loran if her meetings weren't there continuing her work.

She would carry on her meeting in the same room if Loran was awake else she would go to a different room.

They were talking loud enough to be heard till Jai. If free, she would talk to Jai just like how she used to say to everything to him. Loran would tease her, she would bully him and they would laugh. The only thing missing there was Jai's voice and their real emotions.

Whoever used to see them couldn't stand for long and were leaving soon. A few nurses shed tears many times hearing them. The doctors wouldn't dare to stay long thinking they might breakdown.

Sam and others wished Jai to wake up soon so that the trio could continue to make others envious than seeing them in that state.

David couldn't make himself to visit them twice and see them in that state. Even Sky told him to rest as he looked haggard worrying about them.

Sky forced Ryan to continue his work and take care of Olivia as Arlo wasn't ready to rest at home leaving her. 

Arlo was going to work. He would get lunch for two. Sky was feeding Loran according to his diet. If Sky was a few minutes late for lunch, Arlo would be doing his secretary's work and Sky would feed him and eat else both would eat together.

Instead of five, Arlo would return to her at three and accompany trio in the hospital. Initially, his heart would ache too much hearing them later he got used to it when Sky and Loran started to include him in their conversation.

The same way they managed for a few more days. Sky and Loran had somehow pushed Jai's topic ahead without telling their parents but it made them more anxious hence Sky asked George's driver to drive them to the capital's Sigma hospital.
