Chapter 679 - I am straight(3)

Sky had called David too. The Barton parents understood something was up with Jai when they entered the hospital.

They saw Jai on the bed. George held on to Georgia who was on the verge of tears and looked at Sky and Loran.

Before Sky could say anything, George understood Loran was hospitalized too even though he was in casual clothing, "Sky, what's wrong with the younger one?"

Sky held Georgia before responding, "Loran was hurt in city M and we moved him here. He will recover completely in a few days."

Sky patted on Georgia as she hugged her.

George grunted, "Now tell me the complete truth."

Sky sucked in a deep breath and told, "To save Alex from bad guys, Loran got stabbed in the stomach."

Georgia broke into tears. George remained silent seeing Loran fine who was leaning on the headrest looking down.

George then pointed at Jai, "What about elder one? Why isn't he waking up after this much noise?"

All knew Jai was very sensitive to smells, noise. He would immediately wake up if he was sleeping. Sky tightened her hands around Georgia before saying, "Brother Jai... is in a coma."

The Barton parents froze for a few seconds.

Georgia again burst into tears. Sky held on to her tightly biting her lips. Sky knew it wasn't the time to cry as she had to take care of them hence she remained strong.

David held George who had went pale after hearing Sky and stumbled. David made George sit.

After some time, George managed to squeeze out words, "From. how. long. is Jai in this state?"

Georgia was still crying when Sky said the truth, "A week."

Georgia fainted making hard for Sky to hold as she called her in panic, "Mom... Mom..."

Arlo entered at the right time and held Georgia as he helped Sky to balance.

Georgia was taken to a different ward and doctors checked on her immediately. Georgia had fainted due to shock.

Sky went back to George who was very good at controlling his emotions. She hugged him and consoled. "Dad... Nothing will happen to Brother Jai... We are with him, he will be alright. Dad!... Brother Jai will wake up soon."

George patted her arms after a long time and made her sit next to him before holding her hands "These rascals are useless. They are torturing you together."

Sky promptly nodded, "They scared me to death. We will take their class once they are fine. Hmph."

George managed to smile faintly hearing her as he rubbed her head.

He didn't ask much about Jai and heard Sky apologizing for not informing them earlier which George didn't mind since he knew Sky would do everything best for them.

Georgia woke up after some time. Sky calmed her first before letting her meet Loran and Jai. She spoke to Loran and sat next to Jai for some time. Sky and Loran would take care of Jai without a nurse but Georgia took care of him that day. 

After dinner, Sky convinced both of them and sent to the Harley mansion.

Sky had to cajole Loran since George had chided him when she wasn't present there. After making his mood light, she stayed next to him until he fell asleep.

She was talking with Jai in a low voice as she complained to him about himself when Arlo entered the room after taking a bath.

He carried her as he said, "That's enough."

He couldn't understand, where she gets all the energy to manage so many things.

Sky pouted and complained again, "Brother Jai, Arlo isn't letting me talk to you..." Sky held the door frame tightly, "I didn't wish Brother Jai."

He could only sigh and carry her back to Jai, Sky pulled Jai's cheek, "Brother Jai, enough of sleeping. complete your sweet dreams by morning. Good night."

Arlo every day heard her different ways of telling Jai to wake up. It was already a week and there were no improvements.

He wasn't sure how long Sky and Loran could keep up that way. He was really impressed by their willpower.

He carried her to the next room and sent her to get fresh before checking her laptop. She was up to date about everything without delay. He closed it and waited for Sky looking outside at the dark sky.

When she exited, as always he dried her hair.

He asked curiously, "Sky, if there exists a next life, How do you want your husband as? Like Jai, Loran,..."

Sky didn't let him continue and answered, "I want my handsome wife in all the lifetimes if it exists. Brother Jai and Loran are my brothers and I want them as brothers... I'm sorry that I am not able to spend quality time with you which is making you feel insecure."

He was happy that Sky was having lunch with him daily and also she would talk to him for sometime before sleeping ignoring how much ever she was tired.

He wasn't insecure, he was just curious. Even if she had said her brother's name, he wouldn't have felt bad because their relationship and bond was very strong.

He pecked on her forehead seeing her crane her neck waiting for his response. She leaned on him and they spoke about random things as he blow-dried her hair.

By the end, Sky was in a half-asleep state. Both went to bed. She slept hoping Jai would wake up the next day.

Days passed by. Loran could walk around easily and do his daily chores excluding workout-related to the abdomen which he did as very light. Jai's physical wounds were recovered well but he didn't wake up and there were no signs of him waking up.

Sky and Loran didn't leave their hopes and continued how they were from the first week. Georgia became too weak as days passed. George looked worn out and aged.

Sam and other's visits decreased as they had to work in Harley corporation too...

While going through the monthly sales rate of Country P and Country U, Sky was really surprised.

Harley Diamonds ambassador was an infamous actress, Her birthplace was country P. Her movies and dramas were famous in country P too so Sky expected good sales rate there. But country U sales were totally unexpected.

After calling the branch manager in the morning, she got to know that Anne Lawrence was behind the great sales rate.

She had visited the Harley Diamonds outlet and his fiance bought her a beautiful necklace. She had uploaded in her social media tagging Harley diamonds.

Sky called Arlo after analyzing the situation.
