He cooked for me

His voice was gentle, but to me it was like a demon's.

I smiled. My body seemed to be soaked in hot water, and now I lost consciousness as I wondered if it felt like the last warmth of a little girl selling matches.

It's a pity it's not Xia Ze, I thought.

I didn't open my eyes. I didn't have the desire to look at Cheng Ruojun. I lied down on the pillow and slept.

I fell asleep again, and the dream of me appeared in Cheng Ruojun's company. The only difference from my previous sorry state was that I was wearing a job suit, had exquisite makeup, and a smart and capable look. Behind me was a bunch of my subordinates.

I saw Cheng Ruojun kneeling there, his neck was wearing my collar, and he was tied to the table with a chain. He was practically naked except for a set of black clothes that were tied up tightly around his neck, and his entire body was covered in green and purple wounds, just like how I was now. He looked at me with a pleading gaze, as though begging me to release him.

I smiled at his face the way he had smiled at me, and then I closed the door.

Cheng Ruojun's eyes were filled with fear. He wanted to retreat continuously, the sound of the chains striking against him, but he had nowhere to run.

When I finally reached him, he lowered his eyes and began to lick my skin.

I squatted down and grabbed his chin, forcing him to look up at me. But then I saw Cheng Ruojun's frightened eyes turn cold, the way he used to look at me. My heart skipped a beat, and I took a step back.

I woke up.

I opened my eyes and saw darkness. For a moment I wondered if I was blind, but then I saw moonlight filling the room.

I lay quietly on the bed, waiting for my heartbeat to return to normal.

I touched my head and discovered that my head was wrapped in gauze. The place where Cheng Ruojun had beaten my back up didn't hurt anymore, and my dazed state of mind returned to normal. I had been well taken care of.

I'm in the bedroom now, and Cheng Ruojun is not by my side.

I looked at the clock on the wall, it was 12 o'clock, it's already so late, Cheng Ruojun wouldn't be home.

Maybe he went to bed with a woman again. I thought.

I don't know how long I slept, but by the time I was fully conscious, my stomach was hungry.

I got out of bed and tried to find something to eat, but there wasn't anything in the room, so I went downstairs to the kitchen, where I thought there would be some frozen food, and what I wanted most now was a bowl of hot noodles, sour and spicy, with big chunks of beef.

I walked quickly to the kitchen. My footsteps were light, and I didn't want to wake anyone.

I passed by Xia Ze's room, his room was very quiet, maybe he had already gone to sleep, I don't know if he was worried about me during the few days I was sick, but then I thought, even if he was worried about me, he shouldn't show it in front of Cheng Ruojun.

I wanted to knock on the door, but I hesitated.

I went to the kitchen, and even before I reached the kitchen door, I could smell the smell of hot, thin meat porridge.

I had to ask the servant to give me some food. As I walked in, I was stunned, because the person who was cooking in the kitchen right now was not any of the servants in the house, but Cheng Ruojun.

My eyes were wide open as I looked at Cheng Ruojun, he was dressed in light coloured house clothes, his hair was neatly combed back, he was standing by the stove with an apron on, he looked like an ordinary man, and his current appearance was even more handsome than him in a suit.

I froze, not daring to move, wondering if I should turn and run, or pretend not to notice as I greeted him.

I was scared. My body was still hurting from the healing.

I decided to turn around and leave.

But before I could turn around, Cheng Ruojun had already turned his head around. He was stunned when he saw who the person at the door was, and then he smiled. This smile of his was no different from his usual smile when he was facing other people.

"You're awake." The more intimate he is, the more scared I am.

I nodded dumbly.

Cheng Ruojun frowned slightly when he saw my appearance, but he still continued to say to me with a smile, "Come here."

The kitchen is the place with the most sharp tools in the house. He can stab me with anything he chooses, but it would be easy if he did kill me. That way, I can finally get out of here without any worries.

"Hurry up." Cheng Ruojun's patience with me ran out in five seconds and he returned to his normal state.

I walked over, and Cheng Ruojun signalled for me to sit down, and then he closed the fire, and started to scoop the porridge. I stared at him, and his movements were a little clumsy, his fingers that were extremely agile in everything were not listening to me at the moment.

Finally, Cheng Ruojun seemed to be unable to endure anymore, he threw the spoon into the pot, and then held the bowl of porridge and walked towards me.

I looked at him and suddenly remembered when he had chased me, when he would have cooked for me, as clumsy as he was now, but he had never done it for me since, except when I was in love.

I think he can pretend too now, but it's just that I am his pet now, I have no way of resisting him. I want to know the purpose of his actions.

"Eat." Cheng Ruojun quickly placed the bowl of porridge on the table, and I knew that his hands must have been burnt red. Normally, I would place a cloth around this kind of thing, but he had never done housework before so he naturally didn't understand.

I looked at Cheng Ruojun, waiting for his next words.

"Why aren't you eating?" Cheng Ruojun's face darkened, "Are you blaming me?"
