Chapter 126 - Pay Attention

"Excuse me, Mr. James." His secretaries, Owen comes forward with a tab on his hand before he handed it to him.

"What's this?" James asked with his cold and deep voice. Making Owen shrinking a bit.

He then gulped and explain to the man about the viral video that hit the south of this country since yesterday. "This is a viral video that happens in Coosawhatchie, a young man was seen to brutally beat up a few men in this party. And it seems like.." He then stops the video and zoom in the man who wore a white shirt and shows it to James.

James's eyes widen a bit. "Is this video genuine?" He asked and continue to watch the video again. This time, he finds the source of his son raged. A woman who wore a maroon dress standing at the pool and try to threaten her life with a steel skewer on her neck.

"Yes, Sir. Our head IT department is now working on wiping all of that footage from spreading to all continents. However," He stops to take a glance at his boss's face.

"What?" James loosens his tie a bit. Feeling a bit mad after seeing the video.

"The five young men who were beaten by..um, young master is now hospitalized and there's a rumor saying that their parent will take action to sue young master."

Bam! James slams the table to which makes his secretaries flinched a bit. Almost had a heart attack and he starts sweating heavily.

"Prepare my jet. I gonna have to visit my son. And please, I don't want anyone to know about this. You get what I mean, do you?" He glared at his secretaries like a predator looking at his prey.

Nodded, Owen says. "Yes, sir."

Today's Luna takes leave as she still has a follow-up check-up with Dr. Fang about her skin condition.

She also feels a bit relax when the 'day' Raymond takes over the body this morning. He looks happy when he realized that she's home and he couldn't stop smiling and singing happily.

After done her check-up, Luna went to the garden and take a seat beside the man who happily humming and wrapping the flower he plucked into a bouquet.

"Hi dear. What are you doing?" Luna whisper to his ear to which he froze and immediately hide the flower in front of him.

"D-darling! What are you doing here?" He startles and starts to blush.

Chuckles, Luna peek at the poor flower. "Hmm…I miss my dear husband. Is that for me?"

Raymond immediately shakes his head. "N-no..it's not." He averts his eyes somewhere else.

"Really? But, I like those flower and all of it is my favorite, you know." She teases him. Seeing him turned red is somehow something that she likes to see.

Still shaking his head, denying to whatever she says. Luna pouts and says afterward. "Fine..I'll asked Mr. Carson to buy it for me then."

Raymond scrunch and immediately hold Luna's hand from leaving the patio. "W-wait.." He looks at the wooden floor.

"It is..for you. B-But..it's not…done yet." He utters it slowly to which inviting a big smile on Luna's face.

"Oh, baby…you're so cute." She hugs him and sits down back. "Let me help you wrapping it." She extended his hand to him. Asking the material for her to wrap the flower.

"B-but…"

"Dear…lesson that you have to remember, always ask for help if you don't know and always…work together, okay?" Luna smile and start to show him how it's done.

Raymond nodded his head and watched Luna wrap it nicely. His eyes glimmering like a star. "Wow..you're so skilled."

"Mhm? I'm glad you like it."

"I-I always like whatever you give me." Raymond smiles back at her.

'Yeah…but that night version doesn't like it. I think he throws my flower somewhere when I give it to him last time. Tch!'

They played together until it's almost evening when Mr. Carson hurriedly went to the living room with a bit of panic on his face.

"Lady Luna.." He calls her name to which Luna turned looking at him.

"What's the matter? You look pale."

"M-Mr. James is here." He said it and the moment later, Luna heard someone's park a car at their pavement. She hurriedly stands up and Raymond also standing up behind her.

They walked to the entrance foyer to greet the man. Like a grim reaper, his appearance almost makes someone difficult to breathe properly. Even Raymond still hiding behind her.

"F-Father." Luna utter one word when the man entered the house. Looking so sharp at every corner of the house before he 'humph' loudly. Clearly, he dislikes something inside their house.

Two men from behind take away his coat and he unbuttons two buttons on his collar before he glare at Luna and his son. "How are you, my son?"

Raymond hides his face and slowly said. "I-I'm good."

"Really? Hmm, how about if we go to the lawn at the back of this mansion? I feel like to hunt right now." He said and gesture his people to prepare the area for his use.

Nodded, Raymond and Luna follow the man from behind. When Mr. Carson wants to join them too, Mr. James halts his pace and looks at the man with an intense looking.

"You don't have to come along too, Charles. You have to wait here. It won't long." He smiles full of meaning.

Lowered his eyes, he nods his head. With that being said, there's nothing else he can do except to follow that man's order.

"Yes, sir."

Luna look at him with a bit worried, her heartbeat couldn't stop beating loudly, there's must be something going on to which lead her father-in-law to come here.

"Today, my son, I will teach you how to choose your target and make the right decision. So pay attention, okay?"

Raymond did not reply to his word as he keeps holding Luna's shirt tightly and follows them to the lawn at the back of the house.
