The princess flipped the pages when her eyes eventually saw something that could be benefited to her, her mind ran with a fast pace that the lady made up a plan to escape from her destiny, she replayed everything in her mind as not to leave any hints or loopholes.
Princess Hestia immediately closed the book, which instantly got locked after the wings became parallel to each other. The lady placed the book in the same position it was laying earlier, and silently headed towards the door to sneak out, while the cautionary message which was written down there on the cover, beneath the strange lock shone brightly 'Beware of what you desire!'
Princess Hestia had memorized the magic spell that was desired to her, and crept out immediately before any royal guard could catch her red handed. What she had required was given by the book, that emerged there as a trap, set by the goddess of love, who intended to play with the naive heart of the princess, Hestia tried to rebel against her written fate whilst the goddess provided her the opportunity herself.
"Where are you going, my little bean?"
King Matteo emerged out of nowhere and halted close to her, while the king frowned and then knitted his brows, the vampire king's eyes inquiringly studied the features of his daughter.
"Oh! Father its you."
Hestia jumped in her place and acted reflexively that she intended to land a punch in the middle of the man's chest, which luckily turned out to be her father, the Vampire Lord, who stopped her attack and took her curled fist into his mammoth right hand.
"You scared the hell out of me, father! What if I had actually attacked at you?"
Princess Hestia relieved a sigh to find that it was none other than her own father rather some assassin, although she was still mad at him regarding the prophecy matter but no doubt she loved him very much, and the Vampire Lord never refrained himself from showing affection towards both daughters, even if it was in the courtroom.
"Oh! Little bean, you should not forget this that your father is a king and you need…"
King Matteo Leste, caressed her hair as if he was treating a child while giving an important reminder, as the King raised his both brows and boasted in a teasing tone.
"...you need years to reach my level but I'm sure my little bean would learn and surpass everything."
"Ahh!"
Hestia cut him short with a brief reply, she couldn't bring herself to chat more with the person who was willing to send her off.
"Err, father, I have a class with Master Valos. Can I go?"
The young princess demanded to be excused immediately because it became hard for her to breathe in that suffocating atmosphere of the castle.
Hestia suspected as if every single person in the castle was pretending to love her, the young princess accidentally heard the conversation between her father and Master Valos, thus, came to know about the prophecy and the offering. The eavesdropping left an effect on her so much, of course, if any other person in her shoes would feel the same, Hestia made up her mind to do a rebellion against her written destiny.
She bowed and paid respect to her father, waiting for his reply.
"Oh! Yes, I completely forgot about that. I'm really sorry for wasting your time, yes, you can leave. Study well, little bean."
King Leste made an O shaped face, when Hestia reminded him. The Lord had always been strict in teaching his daughters the etiquettes and mannerism of the royalty which included how to converse, dance, bow, sit, eat and behave through body language with some other relatable things.
Although, Hestia found something that could relate to her fierce personality and began practicing sword fight, eventually mastering it in no time. The young princess heaved a sigh of relief and got herself dismissed and strode towards her own room. It didn't even cross the King's mind that maybe the little lady had arrived with some other intentions because where the Lord stopped her was the hallway which lead towards the east wing, the chambers of both the princess.
Princess Hestia took large steps towards the room, her heart was pounding at a fast pace that she could hear the noise in her ears.
She was muttering the spell under breath as not to forget it, or else her whole struggle and the daring attempt to break the rules will go down the drain.
Hestia suspected whether it had always been like that, or maybe she was feeling like that on the very specific day, that the corridor had stretched and elongated to a few miles longer and she needed to run for her life on that 'narrow thread of life'. The princess stumbled a little due to leaping steps, she was barely managing her fast paced walk while tackling her lavender purple gown, that was sweeping the shining floor as she was half running and half walking.
Princess Hestia finally saw the sight of the huge door, which was guarded by two royal senty, who were precisely highly skilled and trained guardsmen assigned to protect the princess, who was the heir to the throne of Vampire kingdom but the royal cabinet was waiting for King Matteo Leste, to decide whether Braille should get the crown or not because the rightful heir to the throne would be dethroned and given into the services of the Ghost Lord's bride.
The young princess pushed the door and immediately got inside, she didn't even gestured the guards to open the door for her instead she did the job herself. Hestia slammed her trembling body against the door as her silhouette was shivering due to fright, the princess had already did a daring attempt to trespass into the library of her father, on the top of it she read some scrolls of witchcraft and spells, right at that moment what occupied her mind was 'escape' and the thing which kept her refrained for a while was 'fear of getting caught'.
