Chapter 131 - The Preference Of Medusa!

The young princess pushed the door and immediately got inside, she didn't even gestured the guards to open the door for her instead she did the job herself. Hestia slammed her trembling body against the door as her silhouette was shivering due to fright, the princess had already did a daring attempt to trespass into the library of her father, on the top of it she read some scrolls of witchcraft and spells, right at that moment what occupied her mind was 'escape' and the thing which kept her refrained for a while was 'fear of getting caught'.

It was still a few moments for Master Valos to arrive, the man was the most trustworthy person of King Matteo Leste, generations of his family had served the lineage of the kings and queens of Vampire kingdom, every single person who had been earlier in the services, either be a man or woman never ever dared to betray the throned king or queen.

Thus, Master Valos, supreme master who had already reached a new level of spells and witchcraft was assigned to teach the crowned princess Hestia, the art and mastery of magic. Every day, on the same time, Master Valos was supposed to step into the personal chamber of the princess, the old man had neither had been off the clock nor off the track, Hestia knew that she had enough moments to practice the magic spell for avoiding any mistake.

"It said...Err...something to drink, right. I need some drink to implement the spell upon."

Princess Hestia finally recalled the images of items that were required to her, and the drop of water symbol flashed into her mind. Her eyes wandered across the chamber and critically analysed everything that was placed on the heavy wooden table, made of oak tree.

"Red grape wine is here, hopefully the spell will work on it, it should because after all it contains water although in lesser amount."

Hestia calculated the ingredients of the wine carefully and concluded that it would work in order to stimulate and to put the spell into effect.

"But it is in glass, I need something stronger than glass, it would shatter into pieces because of the magic. Err...find it Hestia...find something that would not break rather something...malleable."

Princess Hestia analysed her surroundings and carefully did predictions about every single metal that was in her room.

Unconsciously she started to wander here and there in the room, right in front of her bed that was opposite to the door. To her right was a small side table that had a long stemmed iron decorative glass, but in the state of worry and fear that made her restless in mind, Hestia almost forgot about it rather her jumbled brain was running and jumping on various thoughts and things.

Hestia roamed around the room by tucking left arm to the chest, upon which the elbow of the right one rest, the princess curled her fingers into a fist and supported her face with the clenched hand. The young lady's face was creased with anxious expressions while her body language seemed tensed up, while her eyes were eerily glued to the carpeted floor when her gaze landed on the side of the bed, behind her when she turned around abruptly for another round.

"Wwhha!"

Hestia chuckled at her own naivety and negligence towards the decorative iron glass, which she had bought herself and the mere sight brought a wide smile on her face that the young lady leaped forward towards the side table.

The crowned princess of vampire kingdom decided about what she had to do, in that very moment and at once she held the iron glass up and emptied the shells which rested in its mouth. Hestia picked up the glass which was about eight inches in height and had a wide mouth which had red blood rubies embedded all around its circumference, even the ironwork had somewhat special pattern of dragons, two surrounding each of the ruby.

The young lady strode past the king sized bed and walked towards the study table that was placed with the same wall, a few feet away from the door, Hestia placed the iron glass on the table which was already occupied by other things she needed during her study time with Master Valos.

"Let's get started before anyone arrives."

Princess Hestia poured some wine into the iron glass and stepped a few inches back from the table, the lady once again questioned herself whether she really wanted to do this or the way she was acting, was solely on the basis of sudden impulsive shock or perhaps it was a part of her rebellious nature?

Hestia stared at the glass, the moments were passing and every second was ticking, waiting for the princess to act, to react against the written fate...she felt as if everything had been paused for a few moments for her to ponder again but the lady was determined in her resolve.

"Mhmm!"

She heaved a sigh and joined her hands together and sat on the floor in a position, as if the princess was meditating. Hestia began to recall the spell and started to utter it repeatedly for three times as the book instructed, by the second time the lady started to float in the air while sitting with her legs crossed and eyes scrunched shut.

As soon as the princess finished the spell and slowly opened her eyes, the realization struck her that she was floating into the air and her jet black hair were scattered in a defined pattern similar to Medusa!

The young lady's flickering eyes flashed blue one again as she unfolded her legs and landed on the ground, her feet touched the floor light as a feather. It didn't scare her any bit because the lady had already attempted various adventures, a few even placed her in critical circumstances but the lady remained standing like a lioness in front of every obstacle and pierced every hindrance with her sharp claws.

"I'm sorry father but freedom is my desire and no one can cage me, not even the orders of oracles. I'm the master of my own destiny!"

Hestia wrapped her fingers around the long iron stem of the glass and before gulping the potion, which had absorbed the purplish aura which her body radiated and changed into purple from red. Hestia paid her greetings to the king and preferred the freedom over the title of the 'chosen one', the young lady gulped the magical liquor in one go.
