Chapter 117 - Examining Goods

When Li Qin Yao went down from Han Yue Xiu's apartment, Zhang Yu Han's Cayenne was already waiting for her in front of her in a distance away. As she walked over, Zhang Yu Han descended from his vehicle and stood beside it, waiting for her.

Li Qin Yao was worried over her decision last night to try and date Zhang Yu Han, but as she met his gaze, Li Qin Yao felt warmth spread all over her body. There was a rare wide smile on his face and his eyes were shining like a bright star when he looked at her. The way Zhang Yu Han was looking at her made her embarrass and nervous.

Li Qin Yao did not know whether she should laugh at this scene. Zhang Yu Han looked so much like a boy in love.

It was adorable.

At this time, Li Qin Yao wondered if everyone in Zhang's family was as adorable as Zhang Yu Han and Zhang Jing.

"Good morning," Li Qin Yao greeted.

"Good morning," Zhang Yu Han helped to open the door for her before he went to the driver's side. "Did you sleep well?"

"Hmm," Li Qin Yao nodded.

Zhang Yu Han's gaze softened. It was good that she had a good night's sleep. Meanwhile, last night Zhang Yu Han found that it was hard for him to fall asleep. Even after he returned from the gathering with the boys, Zhang Yu Han found that he was too excited to sleep.

All he could think about was the scene from last night when Li Qin Yao agreed to date him before he finally drifted to sleep.

Zhang Yu Han turned around and fetch a paper bag from the back seat. "I bought you breakfast."

Li Qin Yao looked at the paper bag in surprise. Because Han Yue Xiu was not at home, she was too lazy to have her breakfast. Li Qin Yao thought that she should whip something to eat when she goes to her cafe afterward.

"Thank you," Li Qin Yao smiled. She took the paper bag from Zhang Yu Han and peeked inside. There was a cup of hot soy milk and two meat buns. Those were what she usually have for breakfast.

It seemed that Zhang Yu Han has been observing her preferences in the month that he spent his time around her.

"How did you know I haven't had my breakfast yet?" Li Qin Yao asked.

Zhang Yu Han replied with a smile. After ensuring that Li Qin Yao had fastened her seat belt, he began to drive towards B City while Li Qin Yao ate her breakfast.

After one bite at the bun, Li Qin Yao paused and glanced towards Zhang Yu Han who was focusing on his driving. Since she had agreed to give their relationship a try, Li Qin Yao took this chance to openly look at him.

Previously, she could only look at him in secret.

Looking at his side profile, Li Qin Yao thought that Zhang Yu Han was really good looking. With his good looks, it was not impossible for someone like him to attract many females. However, he had chosen to go out with her. As she thought of the possibility that she might have to fight against his admirers, Li Qin Yao began to have a headache.

However, if he really likes her, then he would not be someone who would be easily swayed by others.

Li Qin Yao thought that she should fight when she needed to, but it won't be worthy to fight if he was someone who was easily swayed. She did not want to waste her time and stay around. A relationship like that was too tiring.

Facing Li Qin Yao's gaze for a while, Zhang Yu Han began to get uneasy. He glanced at her before he turned to the road again. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Hmm," Li Qin Yao tilted her head sideways. Her lips curved into a mischievous smile as she thought about teasing him. "Didn't you say that I should try and date you? Therefore, I'm examining the goods."

Zhang Yu Han glanced at her quickly and chuckled. "So, does it mean I'm in probation?"

"Isn't it?"

Zhang Yu Han looked at the roas again and his ears turned slightly red when he noticed that Li Qin Yao continued to stare at him. "Then, after staring at me for so long, what do you think?"

Li Qin Yao did not answer him quickly but took her time to continue to observe him. After a few seconds passed, Zhang Yu Han began to get uneasy. But at this time, Li Qin Yao replied to him.

"Good looking."

Zhang Yu Han's lips subconsciously curved into a wide smile.

"And you had a really nice smile too."

The smile on his face froze. Fortunately, he has been paying attention to the traffic. Or else, it was possible that he would ram into the car in front and caused an accident.

Li Qin Yao laughed as she watched his reaction. "You always had a serious expression on your face. But I think your smile looked really nice. You should do that more often."

Zhang Yu Han let out a helpless sigh. Since he was driving, he could not hide away to evade Li Qin Yao's intense gaze.

"What should I do? Maybe you will have a few admirers if they saw your smile." Li Qin Yao continued to tease him.

"That's not something you should worry about. Even if others admire me, there is nothing they can do about it," Zhang Yu Han said. He stepped on the brake at the coincidental red lights and turned to look at her. "I only have my eyes on you."

Li Qin Yao was thrown off her guard. She did not expect that Zhang Yu Han would turn around to look at her at this time and spoke those words using his deep voice. Their gaze met and the two continued to look at each other until the person behind him started to honk.

Zhang Yu Han continued his driving while Li Qin Yao took a couple of deep breaths to calm her heart and continued to eat her breakfast.

Li Qin Yao thought that it was not fair. Zhang Yu Han's deep voice and good looks gave her an instant kill! At this time, Li Qin Yao made a mental note not to let Zhang Yu Han find out about her fascination with his voice. Or else, she might make everything too easy for him.
