Chapter 118 - Our Regular, Handsome Customer

After Zhang Yu Han sent her to the office, Li Qin Yao spent her time in a meeting with Liang Sheng and a few others to discuss the tourism city until lunchtime.

This time, because Zhang Yu Han had already mentioned that he was going to Wei Jun Hao, he could not stay around to accompany Li Qin Yao, but to promise that he will come back to her for and have dinner together.

During the meeting, the first thing they were discussed was to demolish those old, abandoned factories. Only when the land is empty can they begin the construction.

But before the construction can begin, there was still a lot for them to do, people to meet and talk to. However, because Li Qin Yao was experienced and she does have her connection to a few people, it would not be too hard for her to do her job.

Once her discussion with her team member finished, Li Qin Yao headed to her cafe which was a few blocks away. Anyway, it has been a while since she had checked on the place.

When she showed up, Li Qin Yao called her Qing Kong to report the progress to her. After leaving the cafe to Qing Kong's supervision for a month, there was a lot that she needed to check.

Fortunately, with Yin Mei Xuan's help, the cafe was running smoothly.

Before she knew it, hours passed by.

If it was not due to her phone ringing by her side, Li Qin Yao might not notice that she had spent hours in that cramped office. Li Qin Yao glanced at the phone and saw that it was a message from her former assistant, Bei Ruo Xi.

Bei Ruo Xi was reporting that her Second Aunt, Zhao Wei was in a bad mood once she heard the news that Li Qin Yao had won the bidding. Of course, since Bei Ruo Xi was working under Zhao Wei, she had to face her boss' wrath.

Before Li Qin Yao could compose a reply to Bei Ruo Xi, there was an incoming call from her cousin, Li Ming Han. Li Qin Yao slid her finger on the screen and pressed her phone against her ears.

"Cousin sister, I heard the news that you won the bidding for the tourism city," Li Ming Han went straight to the point after a brief greeting. "Congratulations."

"Thank you."

"I would give you this congratulatory call earlier, but, I was busy with this and that," Li Ming Han said. "Anyway, I suppose you were going to come back to Capital City soon to discuss the project with Grandfather?"

"Hmm," Li Qin Yao sandwiched her phone between her ear and shoulder as she continued to flip on the account books on her table. "Grandfather said that there was going to be a meeting with the board of director next Monday and he wanted me to come."

"So, you'll be arriving on Sunday?"

"Not sure. I haven't book my ticket yet," Li Qin Yao paused and frowned. "What's wrong?"

"Hey, nothing much," Li Ming Han laughed at the other line. "I just wanted to warn you to be careful of Second Aunt. I heard that her staff had to suffer under her wrath this morning. I'm guessing it was due to your news."

"I know. I heard about this from my former assistant as well." Li Qin Yao took a deep breath. "Is it really bad?"

Li Ming Han pondered over the question for a few seconds before he answered. "I guess it was bad. Anyway, it seemed that Second Aunt and Brother Mu Bai argued about this matter as well. I'm guessing that Second Aunt will do something to trouble you the next time."

Li Qin Yao massaged her temple as she heard her cousin's warning. She had long known that her Zhao Wei will cause trouble once she heard that she had won the bidding.

While she was trying to contact any potential investors to help her with the project, Zhao Wei was the one who stopped them from investing in the project.

Though Li Qin Yao knew about her aunt's sabotage, there was nothing she could do without any evidence.

If it was not for Zhang Yu Han and his friend, Lu Xun, QL Group will probably have no chance to join the bidding at all.

Now that she had won the bidding, it would not be hard for her aunt, Zhao Wei to pull something as she did during their last meeting. After all, she does have a lot of supporters among the shareholders and the members of the director.

After Li Qin Yao ended her call with Li Ming Han, Li Qin Yao picked up her pace to check on the documents. She planned to finish everything early before Zhang Yu Han would come over to pick her up.

It was the first day since she agreed to date him and Li Qin Yao did not want to disappoint him by burying her head under that pile of works.

Just as she was looking at the list of inventories, Yin Mei Xuan appeared at her door with a big smile on her face. "Yao Yao, a handsome guest is looking for you."

"A handsome guest?" Li Qin Yao asked absentmindedly.

"Our regular handsome customer."

Li Qin Yao looked up and after a few seconds, a face appeared on her face. She glanced at her wristwatch and noticed that it was almost time for her to clock out. "Zhang Yu Han?"

"Un. Un," Yin Mei Xuan nodded with enthusiasm. Her eyes twinkled with curiosity. "Yao Yao, what is going on with the two of you?"

Li Qin Yao tilted her head and wondered why was her friend asking her such a question. "What do you mean?"

Yin Mei Xuan's smile widened and she seemed excited. "Well, anyway, that handsome customer is coming to see you with a bouquet. I did not have to count them to know that there were ninety-nine roses in there."

"Huh?" She was surprised to hear that Zhang Yu Han had come with a bouquet.

"Tell me. Yao Yao, is he trying to pursue you?"

Li Qin Yao did not answer her friend's question. She quickly cleaned up her table and went outside, carrying her bag. As she tried to imagine Zhang Yu Han frowning face with a bouquet of roses in his hand, a smile appeared on her lips.

When she stepped out to the dining area, Li Qin Yao was stunned upon seeing Zhang Yu Han walking over to her with that bouquet of roses. Suddenly, everything around her disappeared and all she could see was Zhang Yu Han, carrying the flowers.

Li Qin Yao thought that he looked absolutely handsome.

Zhang Yu Han stopped in front of her and handed over the roses. "You're ready to go?"
